I'm not diabetic and I still watch these videos because I understand that by keeping blood sugar under control helps to aid in fat burning, weightloss and overall health.
Same, since I've started watching these videos, I've been more conscious about ways I can eat certain foods without having such a high blood sugar spike
Some prepared foods? Try the MAJORITY of prepared foods! Not to mention the sodium content of these same foods which affect your kidneys and blood pressure.
Dude I love the fact that you added the individual results may vary. But you are helping people with the fact that they must find their own way. Testing is a great start.✊🏿💪🏿
I used to buy this expensive so-called protein bars, no more, expensive and besides protein they loaded with chemicals you want to avoid. Great channel.
I watched some of videos a few months ago and been looking for you ever since. I am type 2 diabetic, thanks for the videos they are very helpful in what to eat or drink
It’s got erythritol which has apparently been proven to cause strokes. The problem isn’t the spike in blood glucose . The problem Is the artificial sweetener and this one is one the most dangerous apparently
CAN U TEST. LENNY & LARRYS PRODUCTS. THEYRE HIGH PROTEIN. TY. IVE BEEN EATING THEM FOR YEARS. THE COOKIES. 16 GRAM OF PROTEIN. JUST LIKE A MEAL FOR ME. KEEPS HUNGER AWAY 4 A LONG TIME. TY
Great variety. Excellent content. 🤔Those with Sucralose will not. Hmmm. Artificial sweeteners verses stevia or monk in the long run consumed on a regular or long term basis…?
Asalamalaikum brother, thank you for the video. Can you test GRENADE protein bar preferably salted caramel. Thank you God bless love your videos. Asalamalaikum
I really appreciate this! Whole foods are always better, but I have had to grab some food in situations where I do not have good options for whole foods and I think I may want to choose a quest bar or the pure protien if Quest unavailable
When wouldn’t you have options for whole foods? You can always pack an orange and some unsalted nuts to carry in a suitcase or bag (whatever you carry with you), carrots or sugarpeas also travel well. Lots of easy options that don’t make you rely on what is basically a candy bar or buying other processed foods.
Yes, I saw the sugar alcohol too. I understand that it is not good for you after claims that it didn't affect you. What has been your experience with it? When you say running, what do you mean by that?
1 serving of carbs is 15g of carbs, if a snack has 17g or even 22g of carbs per serving that is ok. It will still be a serving of carbs. As a diabetic, I would eat a snack that has 22g of carbs.
@msarchieve1749 makes sense I already have kidney damage so I try to keep my own carbs slightly lower when I snack 10 to 15 my ac1 has Been a little elevated lately so I'm working to get it back under 6.5
@@Divinenubian I hope you do not buy into the net carb, because that's false. ADA doesn't recognize net carbs and FDA will not let companies make that claim on their food label and that's why companies will put the net carb lie on the front of their package. If a snack nutritional label says total carb is 15g of carbs per seving and the front says 2g of net carb, please know that the snack has 15g of carbs. The net carb lie can have people eating more carbs then they are eating. Diabetic classes teaches diabetics how to eat diabetics how to eat like a diabetic. They teach dibetics how to count carbs. 15g of carbs per snack and 45g of carbs per meal. Some can eat more than 45g if carbs per meal. 45g of carbs is basically 3 servings of carb. Some diabetics are scared to eat carbs and that's why they might eat 50g or less of carbs per day. That's hurting then in the long run.
My comnent might get deleted but it shouldn't. I have came across your channel last week and commented on some of your videos but not too long read your about me. You did not mention you were a diabetic, so I take it you are not although you are wearing a glucose monitor. I am a diabetic and no I do not wear a glucose monitor. I use a glucometer machine to check my blood sugar. You are showing people a chart, but what about showing people a before reading with date and time vs two hours after eating results? Let us see the before and after numbers. I do not trust CGM. They do not test blood sugar like glucometer does. They test Intestinal fluid. A lot of diabetics that uses CGM complain about accuracy. I've read reviews where diabetics say they have gotten an alarm saying their blood sugar was low and checked the CGM number against their glucometer blood sugar number and find out they weren't low and some there CGM said they were high when they weren't high when they compare the CGM number to their glucometer machine. A CGM has to be calibrated and that has to be done using a glucometer machine. Why not just use glucometer machine that tests blood sugar? A diabetic should never go by a net carb claim, because that's not true and that's why that claim is on the front of a package and not on the food nutritional label. If total carbs says 22 on food nutritional label per seving and 5g of net carb, the diabetic better go with the real carbs which is 22g of carbs. If a diabetic really wants to see how food effect them, they need to not eat anything else or exercise after eating and then compare the before numbers to the 2 hours later number. Exercising can raise or lower your blood sugar. For a diabetic, a reading up to 180mg/l two hours after eating is normal. For a person that's not a diabetic a reading up to 140mg/l 2 hours after eating is normal. Anyone that is a diabetic use a glucometer machine. It does not have to be an expensive one and the expensive test strips.

If one is concerned about the damage done by high blood glucose, this is the series of significance to avoid the hazards of some prepared foods.
