Just wanted to say thank you. Heading out to try Myrmes tonight and wanted to get an idea of how to play so that I could teach my partner. Your video gave me such a great foundation for getting us started without spending time staring at the rule book. I look forward to using many more of your videos in the future!
Thank you very much for this video!! We couldn't understand to the tutorial included in the game and your video helped us to actually understand to the gameplay. Now, we are masters and can play!! 😁 Thank you!
Hi Rahdo, I think there is a minor rules error you may want to annotate around 36:40 ish, when you talk about pheromone trail clearing. I believe that the rule is that if you clear your own trail, it is removed from the game, so cannot be relaid later to gain more resources. You could use a different tile, but the one you removed cannot be put down again, as it is no longer in the game.
I saw this comment right before I started watching the video, and I know it's not the same, but literally the first thing you do is roll three dice :P Love your videos!
Just a question: there are some special tiles that gives you food, others food or wood... do you just pick one from the tiles that rest on the table, o there are rules to pick one or another?
2 soldiers cost 3 nurses normally but you spent a larva to get +1 soldier. Why then did you use your third nurse to get the larva you just spent? Why didn't you just use 3 nurses for the soldiers and keep your +3 movement? +3 movement is a great opening season.
Rahdo, is this your favorite worker placement game where you have your own board for worker placement? I cannot think of any other games with this mechanic that you enjoy at the moment.
Daniel Diemer well there's ora et labora, keyflower, manhattan project, ground floor, tournay, walnut grove... probably a few others i'm not thinking of :)
Watched this because I like the theme & the game looks amazing - just a pity that the gameplay is so uninspired & tedious. Wasted 1/2hr waiting for something interesting to happen - nothing: no clever twist in the plot or any other surprise. Couldn't see how this even qualifies as a 'game'.

Love your walkthroughs. Best imo, as i learn so much faster from watching someone play vs just spouting off the rules. You sold me C02 BTW :)

Thanks for the good run-thru! Keep up the good work Rahdo!
A bit late, but great run through again! I just ordered it and as usual your vids will help me get this played properly!
Thank you for the video, it has resolved many of questions I had from yesterday, the first time I played the game!!

Was thinking the same thing lol
Glare. Idea sounds good but actually feels a lot like a simulation. Like sim ants

An interesting game, mechanics and art-wise, but seems hard to track down now. :(
Yay, picked up a copy of new printing! Looking forward to trying this soon.
water is a wall. then your ant can walk over it (y)
eurogames do love their worker placement eh?
Improved harvest - you forgot about that
lol, winter is coming at 31:00
Thanks for the informative video, rahdo.
The theme is just my thing, but the gameplay doesn't seem so.
Too bad.
now thats mean :P
I am typically a great fan of your reviews, but this one is based on such poor decision making - it hardly shows how well the real game flows.

There should have been less hexes, forcing more player competition.
