Yes very odd way of estimating life in the Universe , their is a greater chance intelligent life is rare then all the stars combined in the Universe like gravity,polar points planet spin I can go on and on...for new theory we might be in nebula that only allows time and our science to be even relevant almost like a anomaly in Universe..
