Bob, thank you so much for doing all of these interviews. It really helps promote the sport that we love. This field looks amazing. I’ve posted my Kona predictions over on my channel along with a dark horse pick. But I actually think Lionel’s time off might help him this Saturday. 🤷🏻♂️ Good luck Mr Sanders.
This interview was tremendously enjoyable and exactly why I love the sport of triathlon. These athletes support each other. Even ITU triathletes train together than race hard the next weekend and are always there win or lose supporting those around them. It's about the process not the result...to get to the race and then race your the best you can. Love it!
Bloody enjoyed that interview.. so many good dudes to cheer for this weekend... just hope everyone has the race of their lives, and then let that dictate the results.. can not wait!!!
SK and JF are super nice guys and always very helpful with advice to LS. One things Germans do is nail the science of training. Very smart sports people. This coming from a Canadian who trained there for a month back in the day.
Real champ enjoy hard races full of great names, Sanders like Sebi too wants a legendary showdown between legends, better lose in a great race than win against rookies
Having watched Lionel's updates for a year prior to the race, I'm intrigued that his limping run seems to need a great deal of work. I wonder if Kona 2020 will see a more successful transition into a result that truly reflects his pedigree. The same could also be said of my fellow Yorkshireman Alistair.
After last years Lionel said he needed to get a coach and it seemed like he had a few before the injury but now he is back to self-coaching. I wonder why. I hope it works out for him. GO CANADA!
Frodeno, brownlee and amberger at first out of the water...wurf, kienle and lionel pushing hard on the bike...than an upcoming group with dreitz and stein pushing for Lange like a cycling team?? I'm just thinking about possible race dynamics 😂
I've never been more excited for Kona.
Totally!!!
adrian b I say that every year.
2019 Kona is gonna be so so epic
Lionel is such a good dude. You can feel the fire he has inside to race the top fellas this week.
Dude is such an inspiration. Constantly learning, improving and never cocky.

Lionels "im a terrible swimmer" swims a 51 min 3800m . A brilliant time.

Lionel you're a stud.
You are awesome Lionel!
Humble guy.
Clear the Mind & get out there on Saturday and be Lionel Sanders; B.A.T.T.L.E like a maniac..!
Imagine if Sanders had a proper coach back in 2015 until now ... he would be even more of a beast than he already is!
Love this show!!
Thank you Linus
Lionel most entertaining athlete
Lionel peace and love version! Cool!
What a guy 👍
Sounds like he should hire SK as his coach!

He’s the best 🤩
I really want him to do well
I think this break has given his body time to recover so his body will be fresh. I think he has definitely over trained the past years. Top 3 maybe??
After last years Lionel said he needed to get a coach and it seemed like he had a few before the injury but now he is back to self-coaching. I wonder why. I hope it works out for him. GO CANADA!
yeah, I think he is on the short fuse kind of behavior?????!!!!!!
I Hope he wins......
again, everyone knows Lionel better than he does himself.
Lionel: Don't even tell me PLEASE!
Bob: Well... ya know, but he said ....
smh
Frodeno, brownlee and amberger at first out of the water...wurf, kienle and lionel pushing hard on the bike...than an upcoming group with dreitz and stein pushing for Lange like a cycling team?? I'm just thinking about possible race dynamics 😂
Hey people. What's the best way to watch the race live? I'm hearing way too much bullshit.
Intense
Mirror or Meeeeerrrrrrr? Haha. Best of luck Lionel
21:43 huhu
Lionel vs Ryf should be a good battle. She dusted him last year.

Does the LS hat on his website have "No Limits" on the side? Don't see it in the photo.
