Fun thing with Nova is the wording for its When summoned effect. "you may place *a* soul core into the void," it does not have to be your soul core, it can be your opponents . This card does not specify that it has to have the soul core like other card effects or say your soul core
It does not work this way, per the Q&A on the main website. The person who spend their soul core is always the controller of the nova

@@stevenlee6529 Nope. As a rule of thumb nothing is limited once per turn in the game unless a card specifically states as such
@@KozmicPlays so you can draw as much as you want from cathedral as long as a yellow dies

Question why can't you double block with the spirits like in magic ? it states in the rules
Declare Blocking: The blocker can select 1 of their refreshed Spirits/Ultimates and block with it by exhausting it.
It's to make the game I believe more strategic as some players will always want to double block so having it be only one spirit at a time means you'd have to choose even more carefully .
I've only been watching games and testing for 2 days now, but could you see ab ice shield on the first banlist? Idk if they'll do limits like yugioh but it seems like a splashable card that every deck can play that just slows the game down a ton
Ice shield is one of the most reprinted cards in the games history, so it will only get buffed from this point on. However, there are also some metas where it’s not played at all for how the game lines up until a new one comes out. It’s a interesting card to get used to for sure
That's the point. They don't want another solitaire tcg like Digimon.
I tought that charged draw in nova decks could be a bit overkill because it already had starblessed but at the end of the day it can be a consistency booster to see nova sooner and more often.

So, I have a question. Why is it that you don't get the luster effect when your spirit dies?
Luster is attached to the spirit and does not trigger until the very end of battle. If the spirit is removed by bounce or killing it, luster cannot trigger
@Kozmic Plays thank you. Would that be the same for spirits with curse? Or is that mechanic different?
@@jayr1ot389 curse is similar in that the spirit needs to live until the showdown step for lack of a better word, or the very end of combat. If it’s removed prior to that it will not trigger the same as luster
