El Salvador has always had a lot of potential in agriculture and livestock, the problem is that many large companies, solely interested in their economic profits, have taken advantage of farmers and livestock breeders. But it is great to see people like this who are interested in the quality of their product and being good partners to Salvadorans, helping them grow as well. More people like them are welcome to our country.
This is great. We need more reputable businesses that focus on quality and customer service. Minor details are important. Great job in identifying these types of entrepreneurs. 🇸🇻
It is relatively easy and affordable to start a business here. What I know is that if your business has to do with food, the costs go up because the requirements of food related facilities are a bit more difficult to comply with cost related mainly. I bet you are going to do just fine. Wish you all the best!
No doubt it will! Very nice interview, Jessica, so happy to see markets growing in our country and enriching the offer of high quality products with the experience of different places entering the picture. 👌 Also, i had not seen your channel in my stream for some time, great content. I hope that now by clicking the bell i get all notifications by e mail…one forgets 😊 oh and Thank you! 👌
My family have a few acres of farmland that i wish was used. And here comes this guy from the other side of the world with a vision. I do admire him...he sees things that we locals ... Never will.
It's worth reaching out to him! Perhaps you can make something happen together. And don't count out the locals just yet. We visit schools regularly and can say with high confidence that the upcoming generation sees great things for this nation's future.
I’m sure there’s been many visionaries but the circumstances surrounding the country didn’t make it possible to do safely and sustain it. Now that ES is overcoming years of oppression and extortion threats the opportunity to start businesses will flourish but this will come with time. Rome wasn’t built in a day!
Hi, I’m from El Salvador but left when I was 19, now I’m 46 I have been in the US but with all these changes that are happening I’m desperate to come back home :/
We do like steak well done in El Salvador, it’s cultural - so it’s probably something you won’t see changing any time soon - most are not fan of rare or medium rare. On the other hand as a Salvadorean who’s lived in Oz for 33 years we are not used to and don’t eat rare or medium rare here in Brissy 😅😂
That means Jessica is more Salvadoran than she realizes. She likes her steak cooked like an old catcher's mitt! I will be made to regret this reply later 😂
Great business! So glad such quality is being attracted to El Salvador. The more I hear about what is happening in El Salvador the more I am impressed and encouraged in my hope to be able to come there myself.

Walden local meats is a farmer's company in the US that delivers good quality meat to homes and health-conscious restaurants. You purchase a recurring share of products monthly, which they provide on a specific date, and you don’t need to do anything unless you want to change your order. The idea is very similar to what this Australian entrepreneur is bringing to El Salvador. I hope his business continues to grow and spread throughout the country.
Interesting entrepreneurial effort, I think his effort is going to enrich salvadoran culture and also provide a more natural beef to the local salvadoran market, good luck in your effort sir 👍
Glad you feel that way! Owen is knowledgeable and passionate about what he does, and he's giving Salvadorans another reason to be proud of their great country and its awesome potential.
I started to learn Spanish while in El Salvador last winter and have continued to do lessons every day. So, I really appreciate the Spanish subtitles that you put on your videos and I thank you for doing that along with creating the content.

I like the new structure and content of your videos, I'm sure people would like the information you provide to others interested on taking the leap of faith to a new world free of the oppression now being experienced in the "developed democratic countries".
Thanks for the feedback! We've stepped behind the camera lately to shift the focus onto others and the great work they're doing here, and we intend to keep that up. We will be back in front of the camera soon tho!
Let’s bring cattle to raise from Argentina! They’re number one in Latin America for quality meat. I appreciate you for doing quality cuts! That’s amazing, I must try.

Hello, Jessica and Ryan! A couple of weeks ago, my husband and I decided to make the leap of faith and move to El Salvador. You two have been such a wellspring of information! Thank you so much for that. We would like to know more specifically about places to live, Bitcoin, etc. Do you have an email? We plan on arriving next week. 🙏
I'm curious about how easy or difficult the logistics are in and around San Salvador, considering how bad the traffic is in the city. Regarding how helpful the bureaucracy is, my wife and I experienced a lot of cooperation and help from the El Salvador Embassy in Los Angeles.
Hello Jessica and Ryan. I'm curious about your scooter. Do you need a license for that? I ask because I know that in some countries like Cambodia that if the scooter is 125cc or less you don't need one. Thanks.
Hi Jessica & Ryan! We are from Texas and currently buying property in Zonte and working on starting a business. Would love to connect with y’all soon. What’s the best way to contact you?
It's easier than you think! Reach out to Jeremy at Escape To El Salvador to find out how. Easy to find on a Google search, be sure to let him know Two People in Paradise sent you.
I am wondering, do foreigners come to El Salvador thinking to become Salvadorian citizens and eventually their children in essence would grow up Salvadorian and consicuently probably eventually actually meld into the general population to be actual Salvadorians or just as temporary isolated foreigners ?
Our intention is to become citizens and assimilate to Salvadoran society to the extent we are able. We spent our formative years in Canada and can never fully assimilate, but we can certainly try. Our children will attend Salvadoran schools.
Hi Jessica and Ryan, It is a great interview. I lost your contact by email (did you change your email address?) and Twitter, so you can see my message here. I am moving to El Salvador this week, so I hope to meet in person as soon as I settle down in San Salvador. Take care
Hello Owen, Recièn llegado del pais ! Que chivo aca. I was wondering if a market garden would work in El Salvador. I currently run a farm in France near Paris, our growing season is 7-8 months max (lots of leafy greens). By 2027, the idea would be to move somewhere else with the same activity. Our farm is conceptual and full of knowledge to be shared around. We would love to extend that period and live a different lifestyle, more tropical to say so, with the opportunity to grow in agrosyntropia, fully organically. How to cope with a dry season and a rainy season in terms of veggie production ? A few locals told us that they import a lot from Guatemala. Do you know any veggie farms in the country that you recommend visiting?
I was wondering what kind of business would be advisable?! And would it be a good idea to hire someone who has experience working in a first world country, IF the idea is to offer a first world country service. Back in the 90s, there was a very professional meat processing place in San Salvador. It was intended for exportation mainly to the USA.
Go the Aussies for knowing how to grow and cook a great steak! American beef is so over processed and seriously not tasty. That brine mixture is also for preservative reasons as the supply chain is unfollowable as to where the beef comes from. Well done for bringing natural beef back to the plate!
While I enjoy your videos. No one "grows steak". They raise cows until they are the equivalent to teenage age. Then slaughter them... TBH, The level at which Bitcoiners promote "steak" is bloody annoying.. humans DO NOT need to eat animals to be happy and healthy.. Sorry for the rant... I'm still a bitcoin maxie, and hope to visit ElSalvadore in next year or two.
