Missed a good one from Rogue One, in the scene in Jedha city Cassian (Diego Luna), Jyn (Felicity Jones) and K2SO (Alan Tudyk) are captured by Stormtroopers. When Cassian is tries to talk K2 backhands him across the face, followed by Cassian holding his hand up to his cheek in such a way that his arm is blocking the lower part of his face. This wasn't scripted, when Tudyk delivers the backhand to Luna's face he actually hit him, Luna is actually hiding his face because he's laughing. K2's line "And there's a fresh one..." was also improvised directly after the slap.
As a child, I never realised that Mia falling on the bleachers was completely unplanned. This was perfectly in character for clumsy Mia, and both actresses managed to keep it together.
As any person ever, you probably never would know that any scene in any movie was not released as. Planned. So the fact that you think you as a child not knowing that something in the final release of a movie wasn't originally planned is something unique shows how highly you seem to think of yourself.
I love how this video was made, all of 50 entries has narrative. And I love how it changed from Tom to Rebecca and Tom again in the end. Haha, Mojo we know how you made the video.
One of my favorites not in here: in Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls as Ace is driving to the consulate in the beginning of the film, Jim Carrey actually forgot his lines and broke out into singing "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" instead. It works so well and is such a random, hilarious moment. 😂
I recall John Cleese talking about a scene in Fawlty Towers where he beats a car windshield with a branch. He said it was hard to find a branch with just the right amount of flexibility to be funny: Too stiff or too floppy wouldn't work. So while Jim Carrey's table cloth trick is amazing, what sells the humor to me is how he lifts the edge of the table, and it slowly rotates on one leg before falling over. Not too fast -- just right. I'm sure he meant to knock it over, but the pacing of it was great.
"Gone With the Wind" camera pull back showing Scarlett walking through the myriad of dying soldiers has a classic goof. Many of the soldier bodies were actually dummies. The extras were asked to animate the dummies limbs to make it less noticeable. A pair of men walking through the maze with a stretcher. One of the walkers accidentally steps on a torso mannequin's empty pair of pants. The walker's foot obviously lands flat on the ground instead of a leg. This happens late in the scene. Dunno if it remained unnoticed until the film was cleaned and digitally preserved.
One of my favourites is Midnight Cowboy's "HEY! I'm walking here! I'm WALKING HERE!" The film crew had redirected traffic, so it wouldn't affect filming in the REAL street. However, a taxi driver chose to be an A-Hole, ignored the sign, and drove down the side road and nearly into Dustin Hoffman. The reaction was real!
Considering that is one of the most famous lines and scenes in movie history, and became one of the most stereotypical “New Yorker” lines, I’m really surprised that didn’t make this list
Theres also a mistake in Austin Power's: Goldmember. During Goldmember's entrance skating scene at the club.... one of the skaters right behind him slips with her skates and she looked around for a second before the scene cut out.
I akways got a kick out of the girl getting hit by the counter top in "Willy Wonka", and the child covering his ears at the surprise gunshot in "North by Northwest."
I've not seen the film Clueless (1995), but I heard that Alicia Silverstone had mispronounced the word "Haitians" during this classroom scene as she did not know how to say it correctly but director Amy Heckling told the crew not to correct her during the shoot because she liked it so much as it was right for the script and her character.
That one in Star Wars for the storm trooper, I get the feeling that trooper would have been feeling that one and sporting a nasty bruise when he took that helmet off, it’s pretty well stablished that Storm Trooper armour is complete and utter shit, especially compared to clone armour and Mandalorian Armour.
You forgot The Amazing Spider-Man 2 - Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) accidently shouts Spider-Man's real name (Peter) and quickly covers her mouth shortly after Spider-Man webs her hand to the hood of a police car to keep her out of harm's way while he goes to fight Electro. Gwen was actually supposed to shout Spider-Man's own name and Stone ended up saying Peter's name by accident but director Marc Webb liked it because it was a genuine mistake made by her character. and The Punisher (2004) where Thomas Jane accidently stabs professional wrestler Kevin Nash with a knife during an intense fight scene.
Honestly mistakes in movies don't really bother me that much, as long as I enjoy watching them I really couldn't care less, I know some people will disagree with me though
The Chronicles of Narnia LWW: William Moseley slips in the snow and lands on a nail. Tilda actually stabs William's arm in battle. Georgie Henley's real reaction to seeing Mr Tumnus for the first time. "I know how to get on the train by myself" The Goonies: Mikey drops the map, holy "s-h-i-t", mixing up "Brand" with "Josh". Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets: Lucius casting the killing curse, Lucius and Harry in Dumbledore's office about "saving the day". Pirates of the Caribbean 2: "I've got a jar of dirt" Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix: Neville gets a wand to the ear, Harry's screaming is too much for the doorway scene.
I have never seen "Doctor Strangelove". I have a terrible feeling, from all the "funny" clips I've seen of it, if I saw it fully in context, it wouldn't be funny. That's exactly what happened when I watched "Monty Python and the Holy Grail".
the biggest mistakes in film, THE ROCK in many of them, can't act. and YOUR biggest mistake, not showing that scene from Scream, saw a little, but not the whole thing.

I'm sorry @watchmojo, but there is not enough lifetime to watch an entire Top 50 (!!) ranking, nor is it likely that any of us will remember even half of who you mention. 🙈 What happened to your amazing, compact Top 10 lists!? The more, the better?
@@Jeremiah_Rivers76 I argree with you. When it comes to the top 50 videos, I think they are good for late at night or when you have bad weather coming in . Most people don't have the time for it because of being so busy.
I’m just sad it’s not as cohesive and they could’ve updated the script to acknowledge the multiple scenes involving Jim Carrey and stormtroopers. But I know how tiring that is.

I was going to mention my favorite example of this, but since it's that scene from "North by Northwest," you actually covered it. Thank you!
Leo is a legend. The guy is a total professional and never breaks character.
The man never changes. His wives on the other hand...

Dicaprio had me fooled with the Django blooper. I never knew it
Thank you for the update, WatchMojo..!! That was an awesome compilation video of movie mistakes..!! 🤣
In The Sound of Music, the line "Oh yes are you, Captain!" was a goof by Christopher Plummer that was kept in the film.
Leo should have won an award for his role in Django 😭
I agree with that, you can see the Concern, on Samuel L Jacksons face during the Scene, but Leo just went on with it like a true actor.
Id be kinda mad if I was Kerry Washington 😂
💯 % Django is one of the best and underappreciated films. The full thing is here on UA-cam has been for a year too.
Not a big Leo fan at all tbh but he was amazing in Django and should of won something for that role.

What about that scene in Scrooged where Bill Murray was leaving the restaurant and he ended up slipping?
"Gone With the Wind" camera pull back showing Scarlett walking through the myriad of dying soldiers has a classic goof. Many of the soldier bodies were actually dummies. The extras were asked to animate the dummies limbs to make it less noticeable.

I’ll always remember the _Django Unchained_ dinner scene for Leo DiCaprio’s cut hand.
Django scene will never be topped. It’s just so perfect for the scene and the character. A mistake that will always be remembered
Goddamn right
Theres also a mistake in Austin Power's: Goldmember.
During Goldmember's entrance skating scene at the club.... one of the skaters right behind him slips with her skates and she looked around for a second before the scene cut out.
Leo should have won his Oscar for Django
In North by Northwest the kid doesn't plug his ears until Eve takes out the gun. If I saw someone with a gun I'd be pluging my ears too.
Did not know about lock stock scene was unscripted
Number 10.... The Outsiders is a great movie and I think everyone should see it at least once.
I akways got a kick out of the girl getting hit by the counter top in "Willy Wonka", and the child covering his ears at the surprise gunshot in "North by Northwest."

I’ve not seen The Way Of The Gun, Baywatch, The Heat, Bring It On, Fast And Furious 6 and Napoleon Dynamite.
I'm waiting for _"I'm walkin' here!!"_ to be #1
The Heat really doesn't get the love it deserves!😂
The way you pronounce Ryan Phillippe's last name 😬🫣😂
That one in Star Wars for the storm trooper, I get the feeling that trooper would have been feeling that one and sporting a nasty bruise when he took that helmet off, it’s pretty well stablished that Storm Trooper armour is complete and utter shit, especially compared to clone armour and Mandalorian Armour.
Leonardo Dicaprio always gives his all in his performances; even at the cost of injuries. 🎉

I still want to know who play the stormtrooper who hit his head on the door
They never came forward, amnesia most probably lol
An actor named Laurie Goode claims to be the trooper that bonked his head

Mistakes or happy accidents?

Interesting.
I don't see any 'mistakes'
Throw It In trope in a nutshell.
The guitar was not from the 1800's. Seems you need to do better fact checking. Kurt himself has stated so.
Vigo deflecting an actual knife thrown at him was even more iconic than the helmet kick.
FHdgg’ no
It definitely deserves a mention, no doubt, but the kick was a far more visceral and emotional moment that I think it deserves its place on the list

Hello good morning 😮😮😮
As they say, the show must go on
More reason to hate Kurt Russel

Joaquin Phoenix is terrible! Y'all just like saying his name. Also y'all like people knowing you know who he is. It's annoying.
