Thank you for covering allied Japanese partnership-It’s important. Peace!

The basic livery for the F-14B is puking dogs!
What a whirlwind of a rundown of global naval forces.
Global Naval Forces? I'm confused by your combining global and forces as to imply there's more then one navy in the world that has the global logistics needed to be, global.
Are you seriously trying to suggest China's white water navy is worth being considered global when they aren't even a regional power?
8 Carriers operating at once. That’s a lot of power being projected!
Nice the see the LHA/LHD force still heavily used.
and that's not counting the rest of their battle groups or attached submarines
A Nimitz Class was my home for almost 5 year's. Speed was never an issue nor getting on station. Plenty of steam to shoot off the AirWing to support any event. It was cramped and crowded but I was in awe of it's presence and ability. The Nimitz Class is just the Vince Lombardi of Aircraft Carriers.
You spelling it wrong 😂
Got em lol😂
Navy missed recruitment by 7.4k, almost 20%. I don't know how we continue this kind of surge presence without a committed surge in USV procurement. A lot of them.
The goal is to wear down your war fighting ability from the inside.
and, ta da, HYT Plus is extended indefinitely.
Ward, I consider your reports required viewing. I would encourage anyone wanting to be informed on what our Navy and the other branches of our military, are doing in the world. Watch Ward's reports. BZ
Stop being a dork
Agreed
Required reading?!?. Whatever. Maybe War Thunder should be required
Once again, Mooch stands up with scuttlebutt you can trust. Thank you Sir!
So self-revealing on Mooch to include the Japanese Sun-rayed flag ... keeping neo-fascism heritage alive. 🤭

Reading a book right now called "The Fleet at Flood Tide" and thought of your channel - it's amazing how all these years later Aircraft Carriers are starting to take center stage again for so many countries...
Exceptional book
It may feel like a sudden change, but it's been a long time coming. The UK's current carrier program began in 1998. There were unpredictable delays that meant the QE's were in-service within a few years of several other nation's carriers.
That book is in my 'to-read' book pile.
@@wheel6243 I'll add it my own pile of books. Reading Command and Control now.
Read that too. Excellent!
great hoodie sir! many of us non military folks watch your presentations as well, and the comments below are a highly valuable component to this format. many thanks. carry on!!
Ward, I totally respect your reporting for a clear understanding of what’s happening around the world. Many thanks to you for your recon. Cheers Colin
Never ceases to amaze me how much firepower we have on the water. I forgot until you mentioned that list of the carriers. Some I haven’t heard of before!!
water/air
I believe our mouthpieces play our military down to bait our enemies
America is going to need every bit of it and it still won't be enough. Foreign countries are not fighting the same country as the 40's or in the 80s. North America is in no way shape or form prepared for any larger scale war.
Interesting how both the Chinese and Philippine Coast Guard ships have the racing stripe. That was a creation of Admiral Bender, USCG Commandant in the early 70s. Prior to that, the USCG had the same uniforms as the USN. USCG ships were painted white but otherwise had a similar appearance to USN vessels. Admiral Bender wanted to create a separate identity for the USCG. He changed the uniforms (still in effect) and implemented a new logo for all units. The logo is still used. Nearly every coast guard uses the same stripes on their ships.
You know, I was an enlisted sailor in the late ’60’s. We did the VN thing twice.
I think it’s just a matter of time before someone F’s-up at sea and all hell breaks loose. And it’ll be hell to pay for everyone. Us and the bad guys. 🇺🇸⚓️
That was a good report. Interesting that we have so many CVN's underway or in work ups. I noticed the USS Boxer was underway in final work up stage too. So not just the carrier force is busy.
How spoiled are we that you can say an aircraft carrier "only has 4th Gen Super Hornets"
With four CVBG currently deployed, would be interesting to see how the replenishment ships are doing and what kind of strains they are experiencing. It's no secret that the MSC ships have a high operational tempo due to the limited number of ships available in the force.
Good point!
The Mooch News Network MNN lays it all down quickly and accurately... once again! Thank you, Sir!
Straight out and to the point. Thanks as always for another great briefing.👍
Thank you Mr. Ward for another detailed update. I appreciate everything you do.
Outstanding content as always, Mooch! Thank you for these important updates and your unique insights.
also 3 european carriers in the baltic sea under NATO command as part of Baltops exercise...
Wait what? Which ones?
@@kolakevicius Queen Elizabeth (UK), Juan Carlos (Spain), Cavour (Italy)
Would be nice to see the Europeans and other allies finally take their defense expenditure seriously and undertake power projection and deterrence operations of these own instead of being overly reliant on the US all the time.
@@livethefuture2492 If we really took our defence seriously then we'd have four QE-class carriers rather than just two.
@@white-dragon4424
Yeah, I wish. The UK government has a habit of cheaping out on a lot it's defense capabilities and industry.
IIRC the QE was meant to have a full CATOBAR system but it was shelved cuz the government wanted to do it on the cheap...in fact they barely even passed the bill to commission the PoW, they nearly scrapped even that one.
Top notch job on this update Ward.! 😎👍
Thank you sir!!!! Always grateful for the updates.
Great reporting, Ward
Thanks for the updates my friend.
Exceptional coverage. More like this please!
Very good update - thanks for sharing.
Excellent analysis and presentation. Thanks.
Always look forward to your info mooch. Thank you
This was amazing reporting thank you
Thanks again, Ward. There is no other source of information on these subjects that I trust.
Ward your awesome brotha. From your experience, your intel and even sweet games, you sir have it all! Really appreciate your forward thinking. Even more so your shedding light on current events in depth. Thank you for your service!
Thank you for the update.
I know my day is complete when I hear Ward Carroll advertising the game I literally play almost exclusively
Good reporting, as always!
Thanks for the support!
So well done thank you for the info!
Great report. Thanks!!
Love your work, thank you for your service.
Thanks Ward, excellent brief.
Excellent summary as always...
A sub could stop that. 03:15 One can see the use of the construction materials when one looks at the ship.
Thank you for your continued Service, & a belated happy Veterans’ Day!
Thanks Ward for another insightful update. As a Navy veteran I’m biased of course, however I’m glad to see the Navy can remain vigilant through various domestic political party administrations. It’s a fine line to walk. I speak from experience when I say the men that were in my chain of command were true leaders and are far better leaders than the politicians we have. There is no comparison between an average O5 or O6 and a representative or senator. One serves our country and risks his/her lives. The other rips the country off for political and monetary gain.
All the Admirals are men.
Nicely articulated!
Thanks on the lastest skinny on our carrier deployments Mooch. I've been out of the loop for way to long.
Very informative and eye opening. I truly enjoy the upward trend of truth being presented on UA-cam.
Thank you for your clarity it’s absolutely refreshing.
Thanks, Ward, Great summary and excellent pictures and video, though that one shot of the F-16 and F15 seemed to have an F-35 in the middle, or did you not see because of the stealth?
Great summary’s!
outstanding report!
As always, Thank you, sir.
Sir, thank you for the information.
Excellent Report
Good stuff sir! Keep it up!!
Great reporting .
Thank you, Ward!
While it is impressive that the USN can muster such an impressive amount of sea power, I am concerned about having so many assets on station at once. This is placing a lot of wear and tear on both the ships, aircraft , and personnel. The Ford was supposed to be home already and the other carriers were surged quickly with little turnaround.
Our forces are being rode hard
I think the way the content was presented might have been misleading.
AFAIK the total number of active, forward deployed carriers is actually 5 so I assume the other 3 are simply pre-positioning and likely are sailing stateside.
Yes the goal is to wear down your armed forces and then start ww3 at the point where they are depleted and all expected to come home. Very hard times are ahead for Americans. They have had many years to study carrier operations infiltrate your military and spy out the land. Most have no idea whats about to hit.
Expect them to be rode hard even more in coming years. The Chinese will test your military's endurance by threatening to attack yet never making good on those threats. They do the same with us on the India-China border. Although, it ends up biting them back because the Indian Army can maintain larger deployments at 15,000 feet for longer than the PLA can, as a result of which PLA rotates troops much more often. Still, they are incrementally improving their own endurance while testing the endurance of our military to deploy in the Himalayas. Only reason we can keep up is because of the practice we've had with the Pakistanis who keep us on our toes, forcing us to deploy at 18,000 feet continuously.
Good stuff, Mooch!
Thanks for the video.
good and interesting report Mooch! Time for some Geedunk
Big-Picture content. Helps to pull us out of the rabbit-trails.
Thank you for this, Ward.
Thank you from Australia.

5:15 Bro on the right looks straight out of an anime with those flashy sideburns. I dig it
Thanks Mooch!
Lots of small jump carriers is*the new meta. Its why the F35 was ultimatley the right move despite being a pain in the ass. We didnt just get a new plane; the jump VTOL capability of the F35 means we also essentially doubled our carrier fleet and ensured we can continue standing up new ships and planes for them as needed.
For all its problems the F-35 is one damn good plane. Im sure it will perform well in combat. It is the height of irony that the Lightening II cannot currently operate near lightening. Hope they get that fixed.
Yep. The F-35B single-handedly made small conventional carriers a lot more viable. However when the Navy gets its new bigger fighters, the balance may shift again back towards catobar.
The ultimate question still remains I guess - "Is one great plane enough?".
Can you fight a war with just one high tech platform to service a multitude of missions and capabilities.
And I guess the most important question, do we even have the production capacity to produce F-35's on a scale to use as a universal fighter for all parties involved in sufficient numbers.
Especially when you consider that the Royal Navy concluded the Falklands task force might have been worse off with Ark Royal or Eagle due to the challenge of CATOBAR recovery in poor weather.
@@livethefuture2492Actually the F-35 is 3 platforms, A, B and C models. The aircraft looks to be multi-role capable even in its A model. My guess is that F-35s can be produced without the full sensor suites it currently has to meet wartime production demands. Also, when the full compliment of 3,500 Lightening IIs have been been built, I don't think there will be any air opposition left in a full global war against Eurasian powers. This is not blind optimism, just looking at the numbers and capability the 35 brings to the table.
The PLA Navy is messing with the "Find out" portion of that famous equation...
All it takes is to mess with our ships...Japan certainly 'found out'.
Though ironically any Chinese first strike would probably happen on Okinawa which is part of Japan.
Thanks SO much for your insightful and informative videos from a fellow pilot and guitarist! Most of all thank you for your service to our nation. 🇺🇲
Thanks!
Thanks for the support!
Thanks
Mooch, you got to warn us when you're breaking into a commercial...for a split second there, I thought we were at....lol
Wow, so much intel !
That's a very good barometer on fleet readiness.
That's kinda scary at the same time.
Clear, concise, no fluff, and packed with inside information and insight, Thank you for all your hard work.
That's a lot of firepower floatin around!
Fantastic work as ever Ward. Appreciate your hard work for us on the channel🫡
8 carriers at sea is wild 😂 and 4 being forward deployed ready to fight
All that to supposedly stop some dudes in sandals and old Kalashnikovs lmao.
More likely to be muscle flexing and saber rattling .
Comprehensive, concise, and trustworthy. 🤘
Good Video
My new channel no robot voice and the information is true. Good Job Ward keep the videos rolling.
Just don't leave all the gear there when you're done
What happens in 6 to 12 months when all the CAG crews are tapped out? You can't keep 75% of your forces at sea for extended deployments.
Congress will need to reinstate The Draft.
AFAIK only the Ford is forward deployed and extended so the total number of actively operating and forward deployed is likely 5. I only caught the description of one active carrier that's not forward deployed in this video but I imagine all 3 probably are being re-positioned as reserves stateside should they be needed and not considered "deployed."
5:21 That dude on the right is straight outta an anime!
could be fun to do a talk about air-wing upgrades, like how not every carrier can fly F-35's yet.
According to a 2016 resolution, China has no legal claim to the islands.
China has no 'Legal' claim period.
But that won't stop them, only effective deterrence will.
"God created men, Colonel Colt made them equal"
A legal claim is only valid if all interested parties agree to it. As it stands, China disputes the claim. Currently the dispute isn't actively kinetic; but that may change with no warning. One major factor in the CCP analysis is the likely international response, led by the US and its fleet of carriers.
@@mikehammer4018
U$ object and oppose PRC's 9 dash line claim ... But remained silent on ROC's 11 dash line claim. 🤭
@@peekaboopeekaboo1165 Hey guy, thanks for the head's up! That bit of history made for some really interesting reading.
I am not, nor do I claim to be, an expert on history or geopolitics. That being said, what Chiang Kai-shek wrote on a map in 1947 has very little bearing on modern times. If anything, take the US stance on the 9 dash line as a form of respect. Nobody at all cares what Borneo claims as its sovereign territory.
Furthermore, Taiwan has not been territorially aggressive (with the possible exception of its status as a "rogue province" of the mainland) so its claims are academic. The CCP, by contrast, has been very aggressive in pursuing its claims and has proven to have the will, and increasingly, the means to compete.
This posturing has gotten more confrontational in recent years; and many people fear it will be only a matter of time before somebody does something stupid and a hot war erupts. With the massive power potential combatants can bring, the potential loss of life is stunning. It's my dearest hope that peace will prevail.
However, I doubt that'll happen; what with human nature being what it so often is.
