Always great to see a new upload from you guys! Thank you!
I think you're more likely to encounter a unicorn than a table with an early surrender rule 🦄
I have only seen it one time, in Puerto Rico, about a decade ago.
@@ianpeterson1100 damn is it really that uncommon? I've been training to become a card counter and i've never been in a casino... that's pretty discouraging
Thank you great advice
EXCELLENT video.. Thanks you!
Thanks!
In some casinos (in cyprus for ex) , there is late surrender option but since there is not hole card, you can basicly surrender regardless that the dealer has bj or not . Everyone on the table makes decisions BEFORE the dealer takes the next card from the shoe
BUT, you can NOT surrender if the dealer shows an Ace . Still it is nice to cut losses with 14-15-16 s against a dealer 10 (in some cases even against a 9)
Visited the Ninth Island last month. Hope everything is more opened up in January.
I have seen a extra double rule. Works great if you double lets say with 6-3 which makes 9 against a dealer 6 maybe .. and boom you get a 2 . Now you have 11 and normally you are left with that 11
But with extra double you can take another card after your original double.
But with the extra double , your wager is NOT the double amount of your first double, but double of your initial bet
Example . Your bet is 10 $ , you double and your bet is now 20 $ , you double again and your bet becomes 30 $ (not 40$)
Still a nice one
I have researched all these conditions and i have worked out that for a low stake table the best casinos are the El Cortez, the Silverton and treasure island as at 3/01/22 they are the ones with the best rules for small gamblers
Thanks. I almost always stay at Treasure Island.
TI is super sweaty. Any counting on their BJ table will get you booted pretty fast. Kicked me out after about 45 min.
Pala casino in San Diego offers most of mentioned player advantages in its single deck games. It does pay blackjack 6 to 5 though.
wendover nevada plays single deck 3-2 blackjack. best place ive ever played blackjack in my life
I would love to know what casinos offer 2 to 1 for Blackjack! I have never heard of this rule my suspicion is that it as common as white unicorns or mermaids!
Never have I seen in Kansas City a single deck or early surrender. I have found splitting aces available.
If you draw a third As when spliting you could split it one more time at the casino i go to in Niagra Falls.
Yes, not all casinos allow resplitting aces but it is a great rule for players.
Can you post all the books mentioned here?
Great vlog and some useful tips there. It's all well and good saying don't play 6:5 blackjack but is it even possible to get 3:2 anywhere on the Vegas strip these days?
Plenty of places, if you make higher minimum bets - wizardofvegas.com/guides/blackjack-survey/
@@TheJackpotGents wow! Very helpful....thank you
Southpoint a couple miles off strip is my go to. Just played at a $15 table with 3/2 payout. I find increasingly hard to find a table where the dealers stands on a soft, 17.
I have even seen someone double on a black jack and one. Do you think he was a card counter?
Do they still have double exposure blackjack
Are there any casinos that allow hitting on spilt aces? The Wizard of Odds has this rule in its house edge calculator.
There are lots of casinos in Las Vegas that allow it, but usually the minimum bet is $50 or $100. Look here - wizardofvegas.com/guides/blackjack-survey/
Some high limit rooms in Atlantic City allow it.
If the player can keep one of these rules, which would you say is more important?
1. Blackjack pays 3/2 not 6/5
2. Dealer must stay on a soft 17
The 3-to-2 payoff on blackjacks is most important. Watch this video for a full explanation - ua-cam.com/video/svNgCBG2LUE/v-deo.html
Can the 2020 coupon book still be used this year? I cant find one for 2021.
over 100 coupons from 2020 were extended to be used this year. You can see the list of all extended coupons here: www.americancasinoguidebook.com/2020-coupon-extensions.html
3 card bust is a push is the worst rule for the player, I can’t deal with it. I like buster blackjack. I usually bet 2 units main, 1 unit side bet on buster, and you can bust and the if dealer also busts and you still break even on a 3 card bust, and win money on a 4+ card bust
Can you double on 13
Great info as always. I find the lower minimum tables tend to draw those ploppies that play crazy strategies or even worse no strategies at all. It’s forced me to move to higher limit tables.
The three times a year I get to play on a table I search for a table with other inexperienced players. I feel like a creep but I stand behind and watch before joining a table. Luckily, I found one this last trip to Vegas and we had a blast! We had a sweet patient dealer so that helped as well.
Other players' play doesn't impact your EV.
Can give how to play psi gow poker?

One of the reasons I mostly play Spanish 21 they always have surrender and double down surrender
Next time playing Spanish 21. Looking for a ten card. 🤣🤣🤣
Ive never seen a table where a dealer stands on soft 17
I still don't understand how early surrender helps. It seems like want as much info before making a move is better.
With early surrender you get to surrender your hand before the dealer knows whether or not they have blackjack. With an ace up, the dealer will have a 10-value card underneath about 30% of the time. With late surrender you would lose all of those hands because they will check for a blackjack before you can surrender. With early surrender you can surrender before that happens.
I love Spanish 21 but it's hard to find these days.
All the Casinos and card rooms around Fresno CA offer Spanish 21 and there are always players at these tables
What do think of John patrick? is he still around.
John Patrick was a well-known gambling "expert" in the late 1990s. I read some of his books and watched some of his videos. Unfortunately, he seemed to give a lot of bad advice that was based on his hunches as a long-time gambler, rather than on the true mathematics of those gambling games. There seems to be a Facebook page for him, but it was last updated in 2019. Maybe he has passed on to that big casino in the sky?
@@TheJackpotGents do you believe in trends?
Unless you are counting cards, trends only show you what happened in the past and can't tell you what will happen in the future.
@@TheJackpotGents do you believe in trends in the stock market?
Yes. In the long run, it always goes up.
Is surrender the same as insurance
no, insurance is betting that the dealer has BJ. Surrender is lessening your loss
Blackjack pays 2 to 1 😃😃😃 that's lucrative
I would watch your videos but the audio is so bad.
I was in Vegas in Feb. An elderly man playing $100 a hand at a $5 table split 10s four times.
Everyone at the table was appalled and saying OMG,OMG.....He just got angry and annoyed.
And he WON every single hand after the dealer busted. Who says never split 10s now????
Follow what the Basic Strategy Guide says, which is based on millions of hands.

Splitting 10s likes bet 3 to win 1. That is why it's stupid.

All single deck games in CA have horrible rules , I’ll stick to Spanish 21…
To me if a dealer is showing 6 / 7 and I have a pair 10 he'll yea I'll split em ,,, that's why they call it gambling make or break .
And my general RULE FOR GAMBLING IS ,, IF YOU CAN'T LOOSE ANY AMOUNT OF MONEY THEN YOU SHOULD NOT BE GAMBLING AT ALL .
SO IF YOU CAN LOOSE WITHOUT GUILT ,,, THAN MORE POWER TO YOU .
IF YOUR THINKING IS WOULDA ,, COULDA ,, SHOULDA . THEN YOU SHOULDN'T.
how do you "loose" money at a casino?
Gambling is stupid , why bother!
Logic: A person dislikes gambling but goes to videos about what to do when gambling.
@David Wirth Cool story.
It's cheap entertainment if you know what you're doing. A perfect basic strategy blackjack player can play a $10 minimum table with decent rules for about a nickel a hand.
