There is a law called harmony. This law says that we are constantly harmonizing and being influenced by the dominating factors of the environment in which we exist. Interestingly enough, this law can also operate remotely. Which means you can harmonize with other people and absorb their ideas and knowledge without having to meet them in person. The problem is that this law can have negative effects too, especially when the person is exposed to negative influences of his environment. Thank you for choosing Robert. I am his mentee as well.

One of the biggest challenge a human mind face is not that it should question everything. In fact human mind is designed to question everything. But the challenge is when mind doesn’t find an answer to something, it forms an answer(or rationalise it) based on it’s limited knowledge. For eg: if we ask ourselves “what are we even doing with our life”, and as courageously this thought may have occurred to majority of us, very few would pursue this thought forward and rest would just accept that “life is……”. And the most dangerous part is they also attach an emotion to it. In nutshell, mind is designed to question, also it designed to make meaning of abstract ideas/concepts, and because we are in constant flux of emotions(as robert mention in video) we attach that with every thought we have. Challenge is to keep the questions separate from the answers you find for them. Just because you can’t find answer easily, doesn’t mean your question is wrong, and not necessarily have to feel a certain way, and settle for assumption. Like in the above example, just because you can’t find answer to “what you are doing with your life” doesn’t mean you have to be sad, find meaning in everything you do in life.
We can use all the encouragement and support we can get...You were well known, but are now a favorite among the Iranians. Your short talk was immediately translated by many online media and watched by millions of Iranians. Thank you again

I am so grateful that I have come to know and read your books. Thank you, Mr Greene. I am feeling so hopeful for my years to come even though I am 55 and my life is kind of a mess. Thank you.
I have developed critical thinking somewhere in my 18 and through long time experience I can say that it helps you not only to reson but also to master difficult concepts as when you question everything you spend more time with the subject and develop stronger associations as well as glance in the aspects of the idea that were not initily stated. On the other hand displaying such way of thinking in social and work environment is not a good idea, people often cannot understand why would anyone argue with themselves, they like certainty and critical thinking offten leaves conclusions out, general population do not like uncertainty so if you give your boss reasoning instead of an answer he doesn't like it too much. Critical thinking is a beautiful thing, an ability to argue with yourself, once developed you will also have more constructive arguments with people because you will argue with their ideas for the sake of finding the best answer instead of arguing with people for the sake of dominating them (if the partner of your argument is a sane person of course). And of course I am thnkful to Robert as he opens my eyes everytime he says something- that part where he explained that my thoughts are not mine, it really clicked with me, I cannot stop thinking about it. Thank you.

I would like to think the first book I bought and read to the end was 50th Law. I always felt the elders were misleading us and raising us with a lot of dishonesty. I also felt like everybody was conforming and afraid to tell or talk about certain truths. I therefore had a deep lack of trust towards older people or elders. When I read the first chapter of 50th law I couldn't believe... I couldn't believe I found elders who were so brave and telling the truth as it is, who were addressing a lot of concerns I had about a lot of stuff. U improved and/or changed lives with your writings. Thank you.
Hi Robert. I am a great admirer of your philosophy, an inspiration for me as an aspiring writer, and sometimes I ponder how your ideas will trascend after we're all gone - to other humans. My name is Fernando. You've served humankind well.
This is excellent, excellent advice! We need streamlined thought process through structure, and Robert displays one that’s solid. You don’t know what you don’t know - you DON’T EVEN KNOW/AWARE of what you don’t know! Who should you listen to? Not your parents usually - unless they actually achieved how you want to be/do/have. Physical evidence and it’s observable to you - a reliable indicator. Willingness to learn and willingness to change your mind - because everything we think we know almost, is wrong. Many believe when they read or hear something and comprehend it well that they “know it” now. NO! Comprehending isn’t knowing and it takes thousands of repetitions and hours of being with that info and putting it to use before you actually know it. Knowing it means it’s automatic. Be careful not to know something false. The Universe (1Verse) is mental, THE ALL is Mind. We live in the mind of GOD. Robert clearly displays this understanding in depth. Knowing we know nothing boils down to humility - for anyone who’s ever been around addiction programs that’s the biggie they’re getting at. Add to that you must do everything possible to Feel Good at all times. Feel as good as you can (without drugs/alcohol) and learning to feel better and better.

Excited to hear the new subject matter of your book, the sublime. My favorite chapter in the 50th law, and really instilled me with a sense of practical inspiration when I was at a time of losing it.
I think in adolescent life thoughts just arise from nothing but as we age an increasing percentage of our thoughts come from our previous experiences with a heavy weighting towards negative experiences. Great video Robert. Very thought provoking. 👍👍

Nice! reminded me a poem from Avicenna: "My level of knowledge got to a point that I [finally] realized I know nothing!" Persian poem for curious people: تا بدان جا رسید دانش من که بدانم همی که نادانم
Although this poem is publicly known to be by Avicenna, but digging a little bit more about it on internet, people are mentioning it might be by another Persian poet. I don't have a search-able resource to confirm either.
I like to think that I am smart enough to do this often, but realize that perhaps I don't rethink often enough, so will try to make it a firm habit. Who knows what awaits me?
Ur absolutely correct , we humans get positive and negative thoughts. And we muslims know where these thoughts come from.Allah says in the Quran "The satan (shytan) whispers into the hearts, of man and jinn. All the bad things they whisper. The are called the whisperers in the Quran. The good thoughts come from us when the good side of us go against those bad and evil thoughts. So much so when we get bad thoughts we have to say a small prayer- There is no power except with Allah in Arabic. This prayers is written in the quran when we get bad thoughts.I started watching ur channel recently.Thankyou for all ur advices.
I would add to this. Be patient. It's easy to fixate and waste time concentrating on a thought to determine if it's real. I find it better to write it down, move on, and set a time to think about it and only lot 30min or so to it. Whatever progress you make, write it down, then repeat it again if you're still uncertain. Overtime, the clarity you seek will be revealed. Be patient yet productive.
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on this Robert... Your sincerity and honesty cuts rights through my amore ... Much appreciation for what you do...
some believe aren't to be question but to be the source of willpower. exp, "i am short, and therefor things will always be twice as hard, and therefor i gonna need to work twice as hard, in comparison with tall person"
The funny thing about this is that I'm only ever told to question my beliefs when I'm questioning the beliefs of others who don't question their own beliefs.
Case in point: the fraudulent logically fallacious pseudo-science that underpins climate fascism. When I point out the methodological errors in the publications of political hacks like the IPCC, I'm told to question my rationally supported criticism while the climate liars don't have to question their tormented statistics and circular arguments.

Excited to hear the new subject matter of your book, the sublime. My favorite chapter in the 50th law, and really instilled me with a sense of practical inspiration when I was at a time of losing it.
Robert Greene, your book gave me direction. Thank you for your help
seems like you're telling people to lean into ignorance. bravo!
I think in adolescent life thoughts just arise from nothing but as we age an increasing percentage of our thoughts come from our previous experiences with a heavy weighting towards negative experiences. Great video Robert. Very thought provoking. 👍👍
Thank you Robert for your works, they’ve helped me alot in my growth intellectually and spiritually.
Amazing! 👍
Thank you, Mr. Green. 👍👍
Robbert, I really like your books and your writing! I appreciate all the mental feast you forged for the readers! I really hope you can talk about how to be a writer, or how to actually start writing. I am a writer of beginning level. I will be grateful if you can share gems you collect as a wonderful writer. Thank you so much.
Nice! reminded me a poem from Avicenna: "My level of knowledge got to a point that I [finally] realized I know nothing!"
Persian poem for curious people:
تا بدان جا رسید دانش من که بدانم همی که نادانم
Although this poem is publicly known to be by Avicenna, but digging a little bit more about it on internet, people are mentioning it might be by another Persian poet. I don't have a search-able resource to confirm either.
I like to think that I am smart enough to do this often, but realize that perhaps I don't rethink often enough, so will try to make it a firm habit. Who knows what awaits me?
Thank you Robert. I have learned a great deal from your books.
Robert Greene: Legend !
Byron Katie’s four questions of self inquiry are helpful to this process
Thank you Robert Greene. Merry Christmas.
Humility in questioning.
I am so Grateful for your life and your Wise words , 🙏🏻🙏🏻 cheers from Brazil!
Happy new year dear Robert. Thanks for all your effort to make videos this year. Much love xx
One of your best pieces of insight here! Much love Robert
Robert Greene you are a genius be safe!
Robert you remind of the author of Ecclesiastes, your work is very much appreciated. I love the videos
That's deep
Thank you Mr Greene.
One wise man said " The problem with our society is that many wise people are unsure of their wisdom, and the willfully ignorant are bold in their ignorance.
