Gotta give travie mccoy his credit , def influenced Wayne with the rock stuff look at the tour timelines when he crossed over
The song Viva La White Girl was the first rock song I heard Wayne on - Gym Classss
Also where Wayne found Tyga !!! Gym Class
Wayne's son being inspired by someone his dad inspired is crazy. Full circle moment
Why's he gotta sound just like Wayne!😂🫶
Dude dont chase clout he just raps and does it well
Factssss gang!!
More insane that it’s all free styles as well to the point that when fans play old songs in front of him he is shocked at how well he can rap showing that he also has a sense of humbleness.
Easy to do anything well when it’s your only focus
Imo Wayne rlly is the goat, I'm 26 but wayne had everyone with his rapping, his fashion him picking up on skateboarding. My middle school we all was bumping Wayne. black, white, asian whatever.
As a 27 y/o I had the same experience. Wayne the goat fr G
@@MoshHardshit I’m 24 and he was still that big for us
@@zypesiii7229same I’m 24 too I’m glad I’ve seen prime Wayne as a lil kid n he still in his prime to me imo
Listen bro, I'm not tryna sound mean or anything, but it doesn't have to be your opinion. I deadass don't see ANYONE talking trash about Lil Wayne's music, I'm not even joking.
@@notfex1427I’m 31 so literally my high school was his prime. I’ve always had to argue with people saying he doesn’t have any substance & just talks ab meaningless blasé blasé. They just never dug deep into his 1,000s of songs.
No doubt he is the most influential rapper of all time and i stand on it .
Damn. Idk if I agree, but I also can't disagree. He atleast top 3 most influential rappers.
@@AntwannnnI’d say 2Pac, Lil Wayne and Kanye West, in terms of influence on culture and worldwide.
@@manteiv I'd switch PAC with Dre tbh. Or you know what? They're interchangeable. Bc Dre birthed the west coast if we being fr. Put them on the map and created their sound from ground up. He gave us Cube, Em, Snoop, Eazy E, Pac, Kendrick, and probably more I can't think of rn.
Pac, Wayne, KanYe, and Chief Keef imo.
@@stanleech666 Chief Keef is definitely a huge influence on the Gen Z. Pretty much all these new school rappers were influenced by Chief Keef. Chief Keef is like the Soulja Boy of the 2015s-2020s.
Wayne is the goat unquestionably!
I never understand why people can say a subjective thing with such confidence🙄
let me guess. Eminem right? Lol
EASILY
@@RH-vd3yuthere is no best rapper because it all comes down to personal preference
@@agenta1263then that’s their opinion of them being the goat fool. Talking bout you don’t understand why they can say it with confídence.. because that’s what they think. Their “preference” 🙄
Lil wayne mixtape days was magic. Also gucci mane was dropping music all the time
wayne and gucci were such a good combo together
Idk why but I feel so proud whenever I hear Nicki or other rappers give shoutouts to YM, like it's where they started and still proud of it today even though they prob doing different things and different management etc, and when I hear it I'm like 'Oh that's Lil Wayne influence right there...'
I’m 44 and I was here for the WHOLE THING🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
🔥 same I slightly remember his first mixtape in the 2000s 👍🏾
i’m 40 and i was here too!!! i remember hearing go dj for the very first time BRO 🔥🔥🔥 lol
oh and let’s not forget hotboyz in late 90s
Yeeesss!!! 40 here and I’ve been bangin Wayne for a looong time!!! I’m Nawlins folk to boot!! ✌🏼💯🫶🏼
41 just a wk and half older than wayne actually. Been rooting for him since Jump Street! Feels good to see him get flowers❤
His work ethic, mindset, rockstar vibe, and talent is why he won't fall off. However, he not a clown, so it may take longer to salute him and give him is needed flowers. In todays era of music, we reward poor work ethic, no talent, and clown behavior. 😶😶😶
Well said
@@iamrhomeoI'm the next best lyrical rapper alive check me out
Wayne been consistently selling platinum since the block is hot. Even the early hot boys stuff sold near gold. He been rapping since he was 10 or 11. By 14 he dropped a platinum debut WITH NO PROFANITY !
Lil Wayne won't fall off because he is youthful, futuristic and consistent.
He’s able to adapt to modern sounds as well that’s another reason he’ll never fall off
True
Im so glad someones saying it. This mans the greatest and definately the most influential
"I said that?!" Lmaooo
“I ran into looking like this” 😂😂😂 Saying like he was just a weird looking dude but it worked for him LMAO
Tunechi is undoubtedly the GOAT. Hands down. 🔥🔥🔥
Wayne has 2 things that alot of things rappers dont "TALENT +Hella Drive/workethic"
Um you tripping cuz I got I been In the game for 19 years check me out
He put out so much quality music he cemented himself in top ten greatest rappers of all time. He had a run where he couldn’t do wrong. I was checking for his music everyday.
Showed respect to this name LilWayne, I’ll subscribe for it…throwback at my childhood everybody was going against me to say Tunes wasn’t the best rapper ever and I was like is the King of Rap and nowadays I’m proud to see all tha everybody are now Wayne is the Goat ever and I’m that’s my turn to only smiling back. We’ll see how Tune is big when he gone just wait.
Drought is Over, Dedication 2, I Cant Feel My Face (unreleased) and No Ceilings are unmatched to this day.
every rapper looks like him
He's better than everybody
this really puts it in perspective nice vid
Lil wayne actually embraced the rappers in this generation & most of them grew uo with on wayne & hes just really good at rapping & Adapting so he can rap in this generation.
17:04😂😂 "OMG"
Was just crying at dat shi
Yessirrr another video

I remember Wayne mixtape era to me that truly made me fan I remember singing lollipop rappin “ A Millie “ his collabs with Drake Wayne really turned the game out 🔥
I’m 31 so you know my goat Wayne & appreciate the video!
He got some real talent! Like the way he put things together! This man said, “you know you give good brain like you graduated from a good school” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 every time I hear that song I be tripping cause the way he thought that in his head and put it together is just so clever and he do it with all his music!!
He always reinvents himself but still keeps that one thing that rings true.. BARS
He paved the way for many artists 👍
Reason #1, he is lil Wayne and not drake lmao 😂
Lil Wayne is my Goat 🐐
The father of all Lil, Lil Wayne...
Im 37yrs old . Lil Wayne the reason I created my own flow etc #MMM #moneymakinmilitantz
THE BEST OF RAP LIL WAYNE
My favourite artist is YOUNG THUG and he also inspired by Wayne oh SHIT 🐍
Bars too hard. Thats why. Flow is insane.
wayne paved the way
@@stormxtron72 paved the way for who? Eminem was already rapping 8 mile time period. Down south rapper ain’t influencing a mid west white boy like that. Ridding wayne a tad 😱
@@mikemurray726 Eminem is Wayne's son be honest now
@@stormxtron72 ok tell yourself whatever makes you feel better. The timing doesn’t work to fit your narrative my guy. Great story tho.
Man LiL Wayne really the G.O.A.T bro I don’t think theirs a LiL Wayne so that I have not liked. 🔥🔥💯🐐
Large bodies of work thats why he stay making music most rappers fall off cause they don’t stay in the studio they always on social media 😅 leave the social media for the podcasters influencers etc
THE BEST RAPPER OF ALL TIME: WAYNE CARTER!
Dwayne*
Dwayne carter jr
Everyone that sold a millions sales in one week are all my fav rappers 😭
Birthed the modern day Hip Hop swag
Oh shit I said that 😂😂😂😂 that’s funny he didn’t remember he said that in a song
Wayne loves the craft, he’s still hungry, and he doesn’t chase trends. Plus he started in a different era where it was harder to get on and stay on
You've got yourself a new follower with this one buddy
Thanks for the support!
Lil Wayne not gone fall because he’s an icon lol / at the point there grandmas to gen z saying young Mula baby
16:41 “I said that” 😂😂😂😂😂
After Wayne dropped Rebirth I was hoping for a reggae type album from him. With his style he could pull it off
Wayne is the actual goat
Shit… them dreads falling off tho 😂
“Run from me
niggas that be barkin' turn to hush puppies”
🔥🔥🔥
Wayne’s son saying Carti is the new Wayne is just sad 😔
That shows how much we’ve fallen
Tf are you talking about? Carti makes great music, he doesn't have any bad projects. Not being a great lyricist ≠ not being a good rapper.
Carti is definitely the new wayne and he definitely doing a good job
@@SandzaLeta-pv3mw True
@@SandzaLeta-pv3mwi’ve never heard this before, carti is a pretty bad artist to me. what similarities do him and wayne have..?
@@JKCplays bro his sound is different just like Wayne's sound was different back in the day and I understand if you think he's a bad artist coz alot of ppl back in the day thought lil wayne was a bad artist...it some time for some ppl to catch on to wayne and the influence he had is similar to what Carti has rn or is going to have
The best rapper of all time Lil Wayne
that “i said that?” was so good lol
Lil Wayne is just tooo good 😩😩😩😈😈😈💅🏻💅🏻💅🏻💥💥💥
I literally have heard every song Lil Wayne put out, he has hits people dont even know about it. One of my faves are
- Around the way girl
- Take your girl
- California Love
- Wine fine/need some quiet time
etc...
When I was 15 I literally drew his tear tattoo on my face with a blue pen. I'd a bad reaction to the ink and still have small miniature version of tears as scar.
"Ooo I said that?"- GOAT
I still pump carter 3 to this day,
Wayne is one of the best 1-2 punchline rappers ever, he has made a huge impact on the scene, and inspired a whole bunch of rappers and his perhaps most important attribute of all: Originality.
But with that said, I think it's disrespectful to call him the best rapper alive. He rarely switches up his flow, doesn’t have storytelling abilities on the same level as many of his peers, har inte visat upp färdigheter i Battle heller.
He doesn't have the discography and really only has one or at most two albums that can be classified as classics.
yepp agree
Subscribed after I heard you call him the goat 🐐
It’s simply because he’s actually nice
Wayne can never fall off cuz his flow been ahead of its time u can listen to his old music and swear it was recent
So sorry for the wait!
Wayne is him and the greatest always a legend 😊
I'm just happy about this guy's existence
Lil Wayne simplified rap in a way that he will never fall off. His style relies on one liners. As long as there is possible one liners, there is possible Lil Wayne verses.
Also he doesn’t let his aged affect him. He’s be 80 rapping about the same stuff and that’ll still sound dope.
He's the goat with no haters.
Im 38..i was a huge Cash Money fan from Jersey. I remember the first album i ever bought was Project English by Juvenile (edited version). I heard Set it Off Remix and worked my way backwards and started buying all of Cash Money's discography. Chopper City in the Ghetto, G-Code, Young and Thuggin, I Got that Work, Tha Block is Hot, Lights Out, 500 Degreez. Everytime Wayne was featured he stole the show and him being so young i really rooted for him. I still have great pride in him because people looked at me crazy in 2000 when i said wayne was my favorite artist..now he's the GOAT.
Bc he put blood sweat and tears into the rap game. Bc he grew up with it, literally & lyrically. Never turned his back on the people & never sold his hip hop soul for commercial appeal. Bc he was the most sought after feature artist for almost 10 years
Top 4 rappers to do over a mil first week are two OGs and their protégés/signess….Em to 50…Weezy to Drake….
They are what they teach.
First time I saw Uzi, I thought it was Kevin Hart on drugs, not Wayne.
lil wayne is the goat. he is the greatest from my life time
Frrr
you cant stop greatness !!
Because he's one of the greatest to ever touch the Mic, saved you 18 minutes

How can you fall off when you have all the skills thats needed to be great. Its just automatic and effortless for wayne. There are so many parts and skills in rap, and wayne has truly mastered all off em.
Not only hes a packer fan like me we both have the same birthday🐐🐐
