Brandon is usually really good about answering the phone during business hours. If you haven’t already talked to him, give him a call tomorrow and I’m sure he’ll be more than glad to help.
Man i hope you get it resolved!!... you help all of us out so much plz someone that knows whats up here help this man out!!! He more than deserves help with this!!!
I have received some good advice in the last 24 hours. A lot of fellow racers feel like the bypass regulator should not have the bleeder orifice if using a cam drive pump. That style regulator is only for belt drive. Working on a plan now but still don't have all the needed info to 100% get there. Much thanks for what I am learning now, from a lot of folks who want to see us be successful.
I finally got my head wrapped around what was needed and got thus one straightened out. I run a 7.5 on my other engine on gas and she's been rock solid for years. It's not that one is better than the other as much as it's that you sure have to know how to set them right.
I ran a pump bypass with alcohol on a ump mod. Do you have a bypass regular that uses carb jets to regulate the amount of bypass. With 11 psi pump you will need a bypass regulator. Just need to restrict the bypass to keep it from over riding the needle and seat. Should be no more than 7 or 8 lbs top pressure 4 lbs plenty pressure at idle and as rpm goes up so will pressure.
Forgot to add I ran a belt drive pump also but some of the guys ran a 14psi pulse pump with a bypass regulator and had a 90 holley jet in the bypass hole.
@@DIRTRACELIFE I dont see my message so I’m going to resend this……. Run it rich almost to the point your trying to flood it out. E85 isn’t like gas where it runs better lean alcohol likes it rich. If all this stuff doesn’t fix it I don’t know what to do.
I think I am getting them, I did not know E85 likes it wet but it sure is responsive wet. I appreciate the feedback because like I said this fuel is new to me. I appreciate the info and trust me, I am listening 😉
Whats your far right gauge? In your heat it looked to be bouncing, and went full left on mid corner once or twice. Couldve been a reflection i guess. Hope you fix it, love your work!
Ohhhhh! Good catch my friend! That's why me just showing everything is helping me as much as others. I bought the oil restrictors last week but had not put them in because I was kind of on the bubble as to whether it was just the covers sealing or if I was really pumping the heads full of oil. Well I did get the covers sealed up but that right there is CLEAR EVIDENCE that she is in fact filling the heads up because that is my oil pump going dry. Definitely not long enough to hurt it but dang sure not good. Car is in the shop now and I will be videoing installing oil restrictors. You helped me find the evidence I needed to make that move and I sure appreciate it.
@@DIRTRACELIFE I get a little frustrated with my local track, the inconsistent schedule and lack of promotion when they do race makes it hard for me to ever know what’s going on lol. As always Jason, love the Chanel and always look forward to the new videos.
I’m embarrassed now I’ll try my best to get you help and any bypass style regulator will work fuel enters through the inlet port and travels past a fuel bypass valve or fuel return line port (which governs fuel flow and pressure) and then is distributed through an outlet port to the carburetor. John and Shien
Hey my struggle here is not on you in any way John. I am frustrated for sure with the situation but there were several folks that highly recommended Brandon and I don't think it was a conspiracy to get me to fail LOL. I'm not sure why the guy blocked me right off the bat from day one, but I am sure he has his reasons. I am just focused on fixing the issue now.
I'm sure you'll get it figured out buddy. I'm surprised TCC carms hasn't got back with you we can't run that style carburetor up here in Michigan we have to run the old style 4412 I don't know why they can't leave well enough alone and let us run the damn four barrels like we did back in the day yeah they let us run big open motors here 427 cubic inch monster motors then they choke assaf making us run a two-barrel carb but good luck bud talk to you later
I talked to Brandon yesterday. We are good to go and the problem was strictly a fuel pressure issue. I think the carb will be very happy once we give it what it wants.
I know that feeling I’ve blown 4 tires this year on my trailer. They were only 3 years old 💁♂️
Hopefully I am good to go a couple years.

We're good, I figured out what I needed and Brandon did contact me. Just glad to finally be getting to the bottom of it.

We tryed a high vol pump and had problems , went to a stock gen 1 pump set fuel to bottom of window problem solved.

I went back to a stock 3 line pump and it stopped that. But yes that bypass regulator is part of the problem.
I think we are finally getting it resolved though.

I am realizing it can be made to work but for sure you need a gauge in the dash and a gopro on it to set the top end.
Hey I had a similar problem with my fuel volume being an issue coming off the gas in the corner like that and cause my carb to flood
I'm hoping I am finally on top of it now.
The engine temp should be over 180 to make the e85 evaporate correctly.
Well I am sure not there! Looking like 160 to 170 at most. Time to try to 2 blade fan out!
@@DIRTRACELIFE yeah because everything I researched today for you it said 175 is the lowest temp
Thank you, I'm new to e85 and I sure appreciate the info.

Had the same problem… canned the regulator
That's becoming a common answer several folks have messaged me and the feedback was sure needed. Thank you.

@DIRTRACELIFE I helped?! Nice! Again, love what you're doing although I'm a dirtbike guy (and racecar fan)!
Man I hate I missed you in Hohenwald, I live a rocks throw from the track. Sorry I have nothing to offer on your fuel issues.
Yes sir, we didn't plan to go there until about 1 in the afternoon when we realized Rachel's race was rained out.

I'm hoping so Patrick, we are running out of time 😞

Jason can't you pick up another regulator for your car ?
I am changing it before the next race. I had faith in the Carb guy it was right but doesn't seem to be working out.
I think that carb ran it's life out. I would move on from that brand with no customer support.
I'm definitely disappointed 😞
