I usually don't like channels like this, it's pretty often that they use bad mods or know very little about the game, but Car Pal manages to be really entertaining.
i think all the mods (apart from the peugeot) are from the official beam website, like the svx, the corolla and the miata (newly refreshed pbr version) *i take that back the second race are full of russia in mods (they still look good nonetheless)*
I had a 92 SVX. Still do. It topped out around 154. Did not take long to get there. Very impressive car. Still the most comfortable thing I have driven. And I have driven hundreds...

I ran beamng’s physics benchmark and it claims I could run up to 21 cars on my 5600g (similar in performance to 3600/3700x depending on the game), but honestly I don’t trust that, there is no way that entry level gaming/productivity CPU can match the 3950x in beamng… right?

If you don't have a water cool I recommend intel I'm using i7 10700F with air cool My friend used the same CPU as Car Pal's and his performance is piece of shit in long terms with air cool

I was betting on the Dodge Durango for the second one.. since it had SUV level suspension and most likely was the SRT variant with those stripes. If it didn’t spin out it would have been at least 4th.
The commentary was hilarious.😆 I also own a Ryzen 9 5950X, but the games I play do not tickle it. At least exporting 4K video from Resolve makes it sweat a bit!

Actually, wouldve worked just as good with a 5600x (well maybe not with recording), because beamng only uses 4 threads and therefore 4 cores. And singlecore performance is currently the same
No. If i really want to give my cpu hell i could sets an 16 cars ai on my 3700X it would 90% it and run at 5 fps. I’ve tested and found that it is best to leave 1 core for a single vehicle if it’s a simple car and 2 for a complexed modded car. Hyperthreading (or SMT in AMD’s case) really doesn’t help much and definitely can’t be used as a core for a car. For me 6 cars is the max to maintain no frame rate differences and 8 is the absolute max to keep above 40FPS. Therefor, beam definitely uses everything you’ve got when it need to

Hello I have a question! Let's imagine a 150 hp/2000 kg SUV with the same topspeed as a 110 hp/1200 kg car. And let's say they have the same 0-60 as well. I wonder how uphills and downhills affect their acceleration. Is the SUV gonna be more affected due to its weight? Or is the smaller engine gonna suffer more? Could you please test it out?? Would be awesome 👌 Keep up the good work, pal ✌️
It's not to much of Cpu this game lacks alot probably poor LOD and the engine kinda sucks to be honest because the engine is a bit outdated torque 3D that or this game has a huge FOV just imagine other games with a huge FOV they won't play same goes as buying those cheap Steam racing games they lag alot a today's AAA game can run good at 1080p FHD locked at 30fps it all depends if the developers have a brain to minimize area that are not seen
