That was FOR SURE the demo ranch ending! 🤣🤣🤣
This was way further down than I expected it to be
Came here to say this
Maybe he did that on purpose since he has a lot of targets to shoot and is expecting some phone calls from his demolitia...
I wondered if that was the case. I don't generally watch demo ranch, so wasn't sure whether it was that or he changed the outro again and left out the two best parts.
@@mrs.antihero I am not sure either. Could just be a mistake. But it will be leaving us wondering for years to come (unless he says he messed it up in a future video) lol
Has to be some UA-camr that trains herding dogs that'd love to collab. A couple herding dogs and an experienced person to control them would get this solved pretty quick.
That was my thought too. The dogs would be way more effective than mini bikes, with the added benefit of you can tell them to go find sheep.
Yeah, but it wouldn't make for a good first video! That isn't the formula!
Exactly what I was thinking. Maybe not UA-camr's but, yeah, guys that do it for a living. Are there any sheep herders on UA-cam though? Don't know? If there are, could be an interesting watch.
Yeah definitely need a herding dog..more humane as well..poor babies..
@kimkelly-kline3768
Oh trust me those sheep are just fine..
The sheep are likely now a problem because of the activity and construction, they had 20 years with nothing going on so all this activity has pushed them to the edges of the property
No dont bring common sense into it, now people cant blame the big bad gov!
Nothing like a Demolition Ranch ending for an Off the Ranch video...LOL
Hire some sheep ranglers with herding dogs to round all those sheep up. Maybe rebuild the pen so they don't keep escaping. Love these videos. Always something exciting going on.
Just suggested the same.
But Matt is broke.
I was about to say, go buy some merch. He needs help with our dream vacay!! 🤙🏻.
@@emissaryofelohim1431he could just say "if you can wrangle em, you can have em"
@@RyanConnell5150 If I had the land for it, it'd be all over that deal. I wouldn't doubt that there are others that would be. If figure, There's got to be someone in the Demolitia that has a horse, and a rope, and some dogs, and friends with the same, and trailers to boot! Maybe he should contact DryCreekWrangler, I'll bet he knows someone else in Texas.
Matt's biggest mistake was telling the sheep his plan 🐑
Shoot, you’re right
Come on, Matt, it's the equivalent of telling Mere. Everyone knows that. Sheesh.
Matt's problem is that he is up against a more intelligent opponent .
@@OffTheRanch I think you forgot to link the cave divers channel in the description
@@OffTheRanch Matt….it’s time to call in @HeavyDSparks and his crew to move all that rock 👍
keep the sheep! Those sheep/goats r the best thing to prevent or reduce wild fires! All they do is eat, that reduces dry brush and grass that will burn in a wild fire. Sure repairing the fence line will be costly but not as costly as rebuilding the resort after it burns down from a wild fire.
1 man and 3 trained dogs maximum was all Matt really needed
According to the outro video this was a Demo Ranch video apparently, foreshadowing the fate of the sheep 😂
Right 😂 idk how more people didn't notice
I noticed but I figured they would be a hundred comments about it but this was only one I saw. 😂
@@Daniel7.62 Same here. I was scrolling before I said something that I was sure a thousand more had already said. 🤣
@@Daniel7.62 right I saw this one after I commented something similar 🤣
Oeps me too. Haha
Am I the only one who noticed the Demo Ranch "outro" an the end of this Off the Ranch video?
...really only noticed cuz I didn't get to hear Mere's adorable laugh while bouncing in the low-rider.
Makes me smile every time I hear/see it =-]
Old news...
Hey Matt, what you need are a couple of blue heelers to round up the sheep. Every good ranch needs a couple of heelers around!
Matt is sending a message to the sheep with the Demo Ranch outro. 😂
Don't chase the sheep, walk them. When you go at them really fast with loud machines they will panic and run. You need to walk them and expand the opening on both sides to guide them in.
Exactly! All animals. You just move slowly as they move away from you.
Yep, they are pushing way to hard and way to close. Especially with "wild" sheep, sloooow and easy is the key. Patience young gasshopper patience.
@@someonedifferent198 Hahaha......"Patience young grasshopper, patience." > Matt the ADHD Cowboy.
> > I find it hard to believe he didn't know this.
You do not need to walk them, you can easily run your herd if you have your flanks covered.
Matt you shouldve hired some processional cowboys to round the sheep up, also try to repair the fence they are getting through on the high way and you can stay out of trouble!
Yep, that is the best advice
it's many miles of useless barbed wire fencing, he can't afford to replace it all with a proper fence right now
Texas has "Cow" Boys not "Sheep" Boys roflol!
Dale Brisby!
He needs to hire some Kiwi's 🤣
I've been on a lot of round ups and you need more people, sheep herders with dogs especially. The cave explorations are amazing. Keep it you brother
That 1 ram that was in the pen tray got released "your free to go buddy" he understood the assignment 😂😂 🐐 💨
The Demo Ranch ending threw me for a loop.
Hah, yeah, I was like "why doesn't this seem quite right?"
Haha yeah I had to double check the channel.
Alternate title for video: Matt has new-found respect for herding dogs.
Hey Matt a way you could gather all your goats is put a tracker on one and always leave him out. Then when he finds more because it’s their instinct, round up all his buddies and leave him out. Keep doing that till your all done. Hope this helps!
You could use a bunch of those boulders to make your pond look like a more natural oasis to “Aquascape” the look. Bring in some huge natural dead timber as well.
You mean; for the sheep to climb on
🐑
Mat has a vet license right? Seems like tranquilizer darts would be something he could procure 😂 That would be an epic Demoranch video. "Tranq hunting my sheep herd"
He's not that type of vet...plus honestly anymore I doubt he renewed his license
Hopefully he renewed his license, you never know how long UA-cam will keep his family fed and a roof over their heads
Vetranch!
I love it we need to get Matt on it.
@@brendahaire8824 Well he has Bunker Branding for that. Also the value of his properties. But he sold the vet clinic a while back.
Hey Matt, my dad was a vet for years and we had to chase pur fair share of sheep. We always tried to create some kind of run. I might try putting up a quick fence that runs right to the gate you want them in so you can run them down the fence line rather trying to herd 100 sheep into a 4 foot fence.
Hmmmm-fellow Texan here. I believe this just might be a perfect example of what we call a “goat rodeo”. I laughed so hard…thanks for the entertainment Matt.❤
don't feel bad Matt, we were just doing the exact same thing Sunday. At least the weather is cooler now! Good to see the water's back, we got water back at the ranch also. Herding sheep is the same as herding cats.....God bless Texas!
I love Mikey's energy. He's the ultimate hype man!
This is like Easy Rider, but with Sheep.
Mikey, I guess would be Jack Nicholson.
Here you are again, with the same bloody comment from the last video. Are you OK?
Get a few rolls of the orange constructions fence and some poles and make your self a chase fence. It can help block a large section while you chase them into the pen. Big have circles work well, because once they get past one section and try to turn back the next section will make it look blocked off.
Renovation of this ranch is the best content on UA-cam.
It was fun trying to round up wild sheep. 😊
Sometimes I forget this man is a veterinarian
Animal behavior isn't a Veterinarian strong suit.
@@tinareaume7484 particularly *Wild* animals
but it makes hilarious content! They need to talk to a real rancher for tips
@@tinareaume7484If it’s animals they work with daily, it sure as hell is.
I think rex was getting at the fact that Matt doesn’t want to have to give the sheep a lead induced forever nap, but he will if he has to. Veterinarians care for animals more, it’s their job.
@@Allstoned26 I have worked for several Veterinarians over the years and yes, they care about animals, but they don't seem to know about animal behavior.
Hey Matt you need a herding dog to herd them into the pens.
@user-td2pg6ft7n looks like just sheep, but the one he picked up looked like a mountain goat.
Excellent suggestion! A couple of Desperado Border Collies would do the trick.
I figured this would be his first option, as a veterinarian, he has to know some people with bearding dogs!!
Hell, he owns several of the best herding animals you can have. He calls them all by the same name. BARRETT 50 BMG 😂
@NOQUARTER_ want to eat their meat not explode them lol
Mikey is just a wild man! I love it!
Pumping water out of the cave sounds really cool
It is ridiculous how much I enjoy watching Matt & company developing this little farm. . .
Right
I know, it's so addicting. I've been watching Matt & Mere since they bought the Abandoned Mansion. Actually I watched him on his veterinarian channel first.
That POV chase was super fun to watch. You need a herding dog or two
Matt, you need to get a couple of dogs that heard the sheep. ♥️😊👍🌟
CHAD CADINGTON CARRIES A FREEKIN GOAT! You might say Matt is freeking goated.
Hello Matt you might want to use a funnel technique using wire fencing in to the entrence to stop them from running in all directions 👍👍👍👍
You need to hire a couple of teams of sheep dogs and their handlers for a day or two.
I do love swing the sheep. And sheep dogs are cool to have around even for a short time. A good working team are ever efficient and fun to watch going through their paces.
Australian Kelpies for sure!!
I'm glad you made an effort to resolve the issuse peacefully. Props to you and all the crew Matt!
I love how I instantly realized Matt used demolition ranch outro on this video lol
What a great way to find new caves, racing around haphazardly through the property chasing sheep lol.
16:28 if you want to round up the sheep more efficiently, you have two options. Option one start putting out sweet feed near the water source, but outside the pin this will cause them to come to it. Option to go to a ranch that has people working off horseback and trying to deal with them to round up the sheep. They can do it way quicker.
I was thinking they take those currently captive sheep, feed and water them for a couple of days, and turn 'em loose. Let them lead the whole herd to the good food and plenty of water.
You should look up what they did for the goat problem on the galapagos islands. Seems up your alley.
Matt is genuinely one of the coolest dudes, I hope to meet him one day for sure
Its been fun exploring Matt’s holes
Y’all still there lol?
Lol, Matt has learnt why I always laugh when people say sheep are dumb. They beat him 😂. But then I suppose I do run 20 plus thousand of them along with cattle on my station ( ranch).
Drones would be really cool to herd those sheep! those large agriculture drones are pretty fast with no pesticides in them and they're pretty scary for a sheep!
Yes!!!! More mini bike videos!
Next Demo Ranch Video: We mount the Ma Deuce to the 5 ton and go sheep hunting!! Also, I miss the vids with Mere and the kids.
You could also take a bunch of apples and put them in the corral overnight. Hang some of the apples out of reach so they can smell them, they will stay in the area of the corral or in the corral then you walk the rest in using the extra fence as a funnel.
You have my husband and me HOOKED on your shows. Love your energy!
Blessings to Matt and all
This is the first ranch thing I've ever seen you do Matt 😆 😎 just teasing
I'm a little shocked there isn't a rancher in your area that would take those sheep as payment for rounding them up.
Or able to be hired with their dogs or what have you to do the job.
Make the feeders ring a bell when they turn on and put them in the middle of the pen the sheep will all start learning the bell means food after a bit and come in on their own
Alternate video title: “I’m Baaaaaaaad at wrangling sheep!” 😂😂😂
Hire out a temp high construction fence along the highway fence line to detour them back into the ranch. They should be able to put that up in a day or two.
You know for herding sheep that have been pretty much wild for 20 years y'all are doing great especially with everything else going on with the ranch, I give it 6-8 more months and you're going to have something special going on with the ranch as a whole keep it up👍
Never heard anyone call a sheep a “Sir” Your quality Matt
Well they got giant balls
@@briantruck2284 The sheep or Matt & his team lol 😂
Gender fluid.
Feed them often with a bucket to teach them that it means food. After a while you will be able to put gravel in the bucket and shake it and they will follow. Also make sure your openings are funnel shaped.
Everytime I see the goats I can't help but to be reminded of the scenes in "A Million Ways to Die in the West"
This should definitely be an activity for guests 😅
catch a sheep...catch a free night stay
Hahahahaha😊
Best Comment 😂😅
Catch a sheep get a free meal
@@d.barclay1564 goat steaks!
I find it interesting the animal control can be incompetent for 20 years and then blame you and give you a week to take care of the sheep.
That's government for ya
smells like he has a Karen for a neighbor.
As I remember Matt never said the law told him it was his problem.
With no one on the land the sheep were free to hang out. Now all the activity has them moving to the edge of the property.
That's exactly what I was thinking. 20 years of it and suddenly Johnny Law has a problem with it?
Should have called in Hodge Cattle Company. Twitt and crew would have them rounded up in no time. Twitt is a force!!
I wonder if there isn't another local rancher who could assist in some way in catching the sheep.
It's Texas. There's likely dozens of them. Matt's just not thought of calling them yet.
When I was growing up, we had a butcher come out and harvest the critters in the field. They had a truck designed to handle 15 cows. It would be good to check around for local services in dealing with wild farm animals. The fastest way to get them addicted to the free food is molasses. You can burn the molasses to fill the air with the smell of sugar. This will attract other critters as well. It is hard to train them to grapes or marshmallows, but they should know the smell of apples, so pour apple juice on the roof, paint trees with it, and put it in buckets. You want the smell in the wind as much as possible.
Don't use grapes if you have dogs. It can kill them if they eat anything left on the ground.
I know a vet down in Texas that might be able to get some tranquilizer guns. Could even be a video on their other channel.
Really liking the demolitionranch outro on the offtheranch video!
A beautiful day on the ranch goat ropin'
The amount of content you give your fellow youtubers.. Legend..
If you don't want ro unalive them try using tranquilizers. It could make a good video.
Since he's a vet I figured he would do that. Panicking them isn't going to work.
Man there are cactuses everywhere!!!
You need sheep shaggers (Kiwis) or Australians with Kelpies, you'll have round them up in a couple of hours. Also hessian sheeting over the fences, stops them from breaking through. Funnel them in at a quiet walk and they won't be so stressed.
Love the drone shots. They put your issues in perspective. Daunting.
My day never seems complete without another episode of 'Abandoned Resort'.
Sheep problem can be resolved with a good centerfire. Hire some hunters and just dispatch all of them.. some nice mounts to be had.
That was a awesome awesome and fun fun video to watch
I am so excited! I’ve been waiting for someone to pump the water out of that cave. Especially when everything was dying and it was a drought
Matt have you considered hiring someone with sheep dogs to chase them into pen?
I love the Demoranch exit after herding sheep, seems to fit.
You should get a tranquilizer and start getting them one by one... Hopefully this is possible/legal, but this could also be the most humane way because of the stress involved with chasing them around on motor bikes lol.
Matt's turning into a _real_ cowboy! Hell of a thing to witness!
I’m sure there are a lot of people with experienced, expert dogs that would fix your sheep problem fast.
build a ramp that allows them to jump over the fence from the outside but with a straight wall on the inside (like a mini-buffalo jump) they will eventually get thirsty and want to join thier buddies inside.
I am happy for you for your river is back.
Before you crush all the boulders, you might want to see if anyone around wants them for building a backyard pond and waterfall
That alot of property and sheep for 3 demo guys and 3 cavers too handle. Hope you get all the sheep rounded up and safe. And hope the Cavemen found some more great caves for you to climb in. Might find the lizard ppl or the bear Ryan(@Underground_Adventures) saw. Lol. Stay safe and have fun 💓
Tranquilizers? It would be a way to get em, and it could be fun. It’s also a chance for a new toy.
Maybe instead of crushing up all the medium sized boulders use them as fence stack them up and make new pens for the sheep or along the front to keep them from getting on the highway
Matt is going to need to hire a couple of ranch hands. Who know how to herd sheep.
Why don't you take some of the larger rocks put around the perimeter and in your pond to make it look more natural.
Lol. Running down sheep like that scheme from Jurassic park with the Dino poachers. Lol
I find it kind of funny that that all these sheep must have Matt flustered because he used the Demo Ranch outro instead of the usual Off the Ranch outro 🤣😂 Thanks for another great resort vlog!!
These videos are like the only thing i watch on yt, keep up the good work
Try renting those Hog Trap cages..... you might be able to get quite a few at a time with those. I hope you find the cave that leads to Agarttha too. I know Longhorn Caverns is close to that region. And those caverns have a lot of Hollow Earth lore to them. That would be so cool.
DR ending to an OTR video. Great vid, thanks Matt.
Hey Matt, double check outro on this vid 😂 and btw, amazing 'cat and mouse' game with the sheep 😂
Make sure the fencing is high enough so they cannot jump over AND lock any gates on both top and bottom so they can't push their way out. If you are going to hold them in the corral for a while make sure they have plenty of fresh water and food. ENJOY, SHEEP ARE A PAIN IN THE ASS TO RAISE, BUT THEY TASTE GREAT.
That fencing does not look like it contain anything.
Hey Matt! I love the videos!!! Keep it up!!!
Glad to see y’all got some water 👍🏻
Matt. Fence the caves ( before the sheep ) and sign them. If a person falls in ? that'll be good game for the river ranch.
