Using a Cradle Net for Lake Trout

Using a cradle net is a great tool to help aid an angler when practicing catch and release lake trout fishing. This lake trout hit my jig with it's tail and the cradle net came to the rescue to help revive this fish to live another day.

Interesting net Ben. I've seen similar but used for sturgeon. Allows them to measure while boat side on the water.

Yes. I've also seen them used for sturgeon. I bought this net at the Fishn Hole in Alberta and they are used for pike often. I have not met many people here in BC that use them and I'm curious as to how many people are using them.
