  • In this video, we struggled to catch kokanee in sunny weather. We were not marking many kokanee until I started searching the bottom for kokanee feeding at depth.

Have you tried fishing Higgins lake down the road yet? I can see you dropped the family off at moosehaven it looks like. So many great memories vacationing there at my family's cabin on petty John road. This old man Norm used to run Hathaway lake resort. RIP Norm you were a good man!

@vancityslicker2844 I have not tried Higgins yet. Moosehaven is our go to resort when staying in the area.

I always learn something watching your videos. I have never fished with buzz bombs, so it would be helpful if you could provide tech on your go-to buzz bombs for jigging... single or treble hooks, size and color... thank you.

@mikesparks6559 I'm glad you are able to learn something on each video.
I like to use the smaller buzz bombs. I choose my buzz bombs based on the wind. I'd say my average go to buzz bomb is a 2 inch blue holographic buzz bomb, but I also size down when the wind dies down and do well. I've also even used the same 3 inch heavy buzz bombs I use for lakers and caught kokanee on those.
