I have shelves like yours and I covered foam board with contact paper and put them on the wire shelves. I folded a Kipling so that it hung down in front so it looked Cute. I put fabric baskets on top to hold with I needed. Turned out very fresh looking.
I think it turned out beautiful ❤️ I'm so in love with the faux brick in the kitchen. It's just gorgeous and looks very real. God bless 🙏🏼❤️

Your house seems to be very similar in size to my own and I love it.
So many people seem to live in big glamorous houses, and I'm actually quite in love with my cosy home. I raised four children in it who had their own bedrooms and and quite a big yard to play in so I have no regrets.
Our house price value increased significantly and I could of upsized but I love our humble home too much and I'll never "have to" downsize if I dont wish to.
Love all your projects and channel in general.

You make it seem so easy.. I did my room recently and it took me over a week i spray painted all my furniture white and i am in the process of making my headboard.. Love ur videos ♥

I seriously love that your “budget” is actually a BUDGET!! I’ve seen some where they end up spending like $1,000.. and I’m like yes that’s great compared to what you would pay a professional but for majority of ppl, it’s not something that’s do-able for a weekend project. Beautiful outcome as always! I agree with the other comment, I just know your channel is going to blow up. You’ll have a million subs before you know it.

After you finish painting...what are you using to make it look weathered or that patina
I just used some of the paint that I used to make the lines, mixed with some white, You want a pretty light color because it dries darker.

I’m only asking this as my daughter bought a house, they walked in after picking up the keys and the previous owners had only painted around the lounge, fridge, bedroom furniture, ect lol ... what a nightmare that was. 😖
Only half way down the wall! But if we ever moved Id probably just paint it all white. But don't plan on moving :)
I think in her case since a washer and dryer are heavy and hooked up to different things, I would say it's okay not to paint behind the walls. But in your daughter's case, I think they could have moved the bedroom furniture and other furniture. The fridge maybe not.

Hi Tina! I just got a few different shades of grey from the craft store. I don't remember exactly what shades but you could use greys or black with a little white in it or even shades of brown/tan.

Haha, yep! Way easier and quicker than actual ship lap! I love the way it looks and if I get tired of it I can just paint over it! Hope you give it a try! :)
