Don't know what happened with the sound at the beginning. I double checked and it was fine on my end but when it uploaded to youtube it somehow messed it up! Hope it wasn't too confusing!!

Officially Tate.....I did Thank God for my mom......she's been in Heaven since 2006. I am sure that my Dad and she are so happy together. They both died of cancer 12 yrs apart. While I miss them terribly, they are in no more pain. My DH died in 2002....and I am sure they are all having a great time going to garage sales, camping and wondering why no one ever clips many coupons any more!!! I Had the BEST PARENTS on the planet! :)
Did anyone else cry at the end or is it just me? I love how you were so excited for her to see the transformation and her reaction was too beautiful! ou did an excellent job I would seriously never leave that room lol
Instead of filling the holes on her headboard she should look for some cute drawer knobs, then she can hang things off them. The room looks great!
I had a similar thought but I was thinking jewels glued on with E6000

I honestly don't understand why it's so difficult for family members and friends to take good care of and love each other as we all want and need. Your bedroom project means so much more than just a little makeover. Lots of love and necessary personal attention to your daughters happiness is the most important message that I'm sure she appreciates. Your teachings others to give and remind one another they are indeed special & reassured they are welcomed and wanted. Your daughter feels that she always has a home and her special space with her family to come back hone to. SOOOO IMPORTANT, trust me!!

The window that you do not use ( that is insulated) have you thought about putting a mirror there and have curtains along side of them to make it look like a real window? just a thought!

Yeah... Large mirrors placed correctly makes your place look alot larger and placing a lamp in mirror area creates alot of light without adding more light and cost. Also TV view bounces off that makes you seem to have another TV where you need it....lol. I love mirrors!
What a pretty and dreamy space! The hanging lights are so romantic. What a teen girl's dream--- not just the bedroom, but a boyfriend who works at Bath and Body Works. 🤗

So sweet; great job. I love how realistic and doable this is for almost every budget. So many YT makeovers are for people with big bucks but viewing one done with imagination, hard work and love is priceless!

I am 20 and I've been remodeling my mom's basement since I was 15. It went from unfinished to fully finished having a living room, two bedrooms, full bath, and a separate laundry room id like to add a mini kitchen to. Love seeing people transform spaces like this.

High-five on that! 🤚👏 my mom would have seen it as it inconvenience! She would say to me, “Why do you want to go through all that trouble? Leave it as it is.” Sometimes I would like for us to do those projects together!

A big mirror over that window would be so cute! You would never know it was hiding they whole, and it would reflect light!

When closets are on the outside where you can see them, I like to change out all the hangers for matching ones all of the same color! 💖 I loved this room makeover!

I personally would have painted the headboard black and maybe bought a few cute little gold nic-nacs for the room. Maybe get some marble contact paper for the top of the coffee table and dresser. But other than that, I think it's very cute (and for a great price!).

I have a basement room. I used a double layer of bubble wrap on my window. It lets in light, is private (you can see shadows and silhouettes but no exact features) and looks like cool textured glass from a distance.

I literally love this!!! I’m also 21 and my parents are rebuilding there storage shed for me and this is everything I pictured for my room in my mind down to the knobs lol.!! I now have something to show my mom so she can see what I see in my head. I will definitely be sharing how my room looks once it’s done because this is just beautiful and all the colors are the ones I’m using for my room so I love it.!!! Also your a wonderful mom for doing that for your daughter because at that age we don’t know what is going on in our lives, thanks again for posting this, it’s literally just everything I pictured in my mind for my room.!

I am so sorry... I would never do that to my daughters...but my older daughter got pregnant when she was ready to graduate a 4 year University. She got pregnant with a guy we never met. We told her from the beginning don't have sex till you marry (we are Christians). She could have lived with us till she got old and gray... Her option was marry him or move out to an apartment. We didn't want her to think she can live with us and keep popping out babies for us to take care of. So she got married. My other daughter is graduating in another 1 1/2 years. She wants to move out on her own after she gets a job. 😭. Some kids want their independence. I feel for you. Try to get an education ASAP, a skill so you can defend yourself financially. Pray to God to find the right job skills, education...

And at her deathbed knew she made poor choices in raising her kids. They become good for nothings and cannot defend themselves in life. That is a disgrace!
