I don't own one but made a DIY version with a wooden skid for my 300 foot driveway with the same basic attributes. My driveway is impeccable! I would definitely buy the DR Doctor when I need something with more commercial quality.
i borrowed one from a neighbor, it followed all the bumps, just smoothed the top and followed the contour, no matter how much u went over it, or how u set it, my road still has the same bumps
I've had the remote controlled version for four years, and I have spent an average of $250 per year just to keep it operational. DR stuff is usually rugged and works well, but the grader is a lemon.
The wireless receiver fails very quickly. I’ve replaced mine twice and am trying to convert it to a wired connection. The rest of the grader is rock solid though.
There are different brands and I have saw some who made their own. It may not be perfect but it's definitely a better solution than paying hundreds and thousands of dollars for someone to do barely as good.
Awesome machine BUT...... God forbid if you EVER need to get hold of customer service because it ain’t happening, if you need something for your equipment you will be on the phone for hours without help, you are on your own. I own a DR Power Grader 48” model and the only reason I deal with these people is because I by mistake bought one, it will never happen again!!!

I like mine. Do over 800' of driveway without any problems even after logging trucks used drive for several weeks.
