My grandson Luca /two y/o gets so excited when watching the steam train keep coming out. Thank you for making this wonderful steam train video and the joy it brings to us.
Ever since I was young, I’ve been watching this series. It is very special for me because, not only did 4th come out on my birthday, it was this series that got me into trains. Thank you for the incredible work! :)
Why do the neurotypical college students in my college know a lot about marvel, superheroes, football, princesses, and dolls, but not a lot about steam trains especially not these trains in this video?
Until this video I had never seen a 4-8-8-4. Honestly didn't know they existed. That 4014 Big Boy is a BIG BOY! I appreciate what you do here. These trains are so cool. Thank You. (Edit: 14 not 41)
I love this video. I’ve always said to people around me, that steam trains are a moving piece of history. I have always appreciated your steam train videos and other trains as well
Mike - my 2 year old son is obsessed with your videos. Our nightly routine is to put on one of your videos as he sets up and plays with his brio track. We can see just how much you inspire him to play and explore his “choo choos” more. We have subscribed to your patreon. We are so thankful for this wonderful content you produce. Wishing you the best this year and hope you continue to make videos.
Outstanding train video this is the best steam train video yet the 10th galore was pretty amazing but this one is really super awesome! Great work on this train video!
It’s just amazing how much this series has grown during these past 10 years. Here’s to reaching 100 steam locomotives caught in action! Good thing more steam locomotives are being restored to operation across the United States and around the world. Even SMS Lines switcher steam locomotive no. 9 just officially returned to operation and will soon be pulling excursion trains on the Woodstown Central Railroad in southern New Jersey. Great video!
How did I miss this? God I love these trains. Seen a steam engine in person and it was epic especially the sound of the whistle and the chugging. No other train today sounds like that. Steam engines are some great pieces of engineering
I’ve been watching Steam Trains galore since the beginning and I can’t believe it’s already been 10 years! Amazing milestone, hope the series continues!
Our 2 year old son absolutely loves trains and this video is a miracle worker for us. Whenever we need a bit of support for the afternoon nap routine, this is the go to. Not only does it send him off but also Daddy most times too! 😂 thank you for the videos.
Why do the neurotypical college students in my college know a lot about marvel, superheroes, football, princesses, and dolls, but not a lot about steam trains especially not these trains in this video?
I don't care on what you people say but the world needs more steam trains like the prr1,s or the y6b,s or 0-6-0s or the southern Pacific railroad should have more just all I'm saying is the table's sould turn for oil trains or electric ones we need more steam trains, we need to hear the charming whistle,s and the pillers of steam must come back for 12 year old boy that has love steam trains sense I was 3.❤❤❤: By Aeros
Hello Mike, a fantastic steam locomotive video, great railways and landscapes. A top class video for steam locomotive fans. Thank you very much for showing it and best regards from Germany. wolfgang

Cool! Beautiful video Mike. I am going to be visiting the Nevada State Railroad Museum in Carson City, Nevada to see their Virginia & Truckee 25 (Built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1905).
Why do the neurotypical college students in my college know a lot about marvel, superheroes, football, princesses, and dolls, but not a lot about steam trains especially not these trains in this video?
Next month after the train talk episode of the commuter rails from the west, I have a good idea for you to do train talk episodes about every freight railroad in the United States.
Please make a kids' favorites with more music! My toddler loves your videos. But she wants all steam trains with whistles, people waving, bridges, tunnels, nighttime trains with lights on, and music throughout! This was a great one for her. She watched the entire thing!
I’ve been to the Strasburg Rail Road a few times and it’s absolutely beautiful. If you haven’t been to the New Hope Railroad, you should go there when you make your next steam train collection video
I think the first video I've watched from you is the Fast Diesel Trains! video, Steam Trains Galore, the CoasterFan2105 50K subscriber special trains video, and the Union Pacific EMD E8 942 at the OERM video as well! It's amazing to see the Steam Trains Galore series not only celebrating a DECADE of it, but to see how much it has evolved! Thank you for being apart of my childhood Mike! 🚂🚂
Sometime around WW2 a group of miners from Kalgoorlie were on a trip to the seaside at Esperance. The train stopped half way because the drivers were too drunk. They had small locos underground so 2 drivers took over, others shovelled - and they reached Esperance way ahead of time! These were necessary occupations and not allowed to join up for the war, but I would reckon they were in their early 50s anyway.

1225 under full chug at 21:38 gave me goosebumps. What a great sound.
Come to think of it, 1225 should return to the mainline.
It was like hearing the polar express
The chuffing sounds in the Polar Express actually WAS recorded from 1225 herself
