Royal Enfield has indeed launched a Meteor 650 version, it is an upgraded and more powerful variant of the Meteor 350, following Royal Enfield's naming conventions. Here's a speculative description of what the Royal Enfield Meteor 650 might entail:
*Design and Styling:*
The Royal Enfield Meteor 650 retains the cruiser design aesthetics of the Meteor 350 but on a larger scale. It features a larger frame and body to accommodate the bigger engine.
Blending classic and modern elements, with chrome accents, a teardrop fuel tank, and a relaxed riding position.
*Engine:*
The most significant change in the Meteor 650 would be the engine. It is powered by a larger-displacement twin-cylinder engine, possibly around 650cc, designed to deliver more power and torque than the single-cylinder engine of the Meteor 350. This engine could offer a smoother and more refined performance, suitable for both city commuting and highway cruising.
*Performance:*
The increased engine capacity would likely result in improved acceleration and higher top speed compared to the Meteor 350.
*Technology:*
Given the advancement of technology in the motorcycle industry, the Meteor 650 comes equipped with features such as LED lighting, a fully digital instrument cluster, riding modes.
*Suspension and Brakes:*
To handle the increased power and performance, the Meteor 650 comes with upgraded suspension components and larger brakes. A telescopic front fork and twin shock absorbers at the rear would likely ensure a comfortable ride.
*Color Options and Customization:*
The Meteor 650 could be offered in a range of color options to cater to different preferences. Additionally, Royal Enfield might offer customization options and accessories to allow riders to personalize their motorcycles.

ua-cam.com/video/dYrVzV6G2L0/v-deo.html UA-cam has messed up this video so lost a lot if footage and the last minute or so.
I have re-edited this video here with some bonus added content. Click link above.
I got chatting to a guy on holiday with his Mrs in Poole and they had travelled down from Rugby on theirs. He had a really positive opinion of the machine as a two-up tourer, with the caviat that "but I wouldn't want to do prolonged miles on the motorway on it two-up". "An A road cruiser" was another term he used. I love the look of them, and at the price they are available at I reckon these are a bargain...just need a larger garage...
Yeap I need more money that's my issue 🤑🤑
That green colour scheme is really nice. When I finish work tonight I'm going to rewatch the video from the factory where there was a man doing the pin striping by hand.
Ive seen that, the skill level is hard to get your head around. amazing!
Don’t know how you remember all the stat’s on these bike mate, outstanding.
Thanks Carl, tricks of the trade
I got mine, new, 3wks ago so I got a LOTTA running-in to do. But, it's lovely - like a faithful, fat Labrador. Rode the 42mi home, from dealership - I hadn't ridden for 37yrs but, it's NOT heavy, it's NOT uncultured or thrown together & it had sufficient 'poke' as I nursed it home. I LOVE the foot position, too. No rev counter is a bummer & the trip doesn't have a good rep' but, I fuckin' love it. It looks cool.
Brill nice one 👍🍻
Excellent real-world review of an extremely good bike.
RE really can do no wrong at the moment; long may it continue.
Absolutely , where would we be without RE!
You seem to have this review malarkey nailed, although all the passing scenery is obviously green screen 👍😊
The first shot with the cliffs I made myself no green screen but yes you have blown the lid off. It was all green screen. Great when you know how.
@@exeterrider The best looking bike reviews on youtube, and plastic mudguards are better 👍😊
😂😂”Sidmouth rush hour” - must be pension day!
Great review mate - esp as you only had it one day. It’s a definite possible the SM. Never say never!
The Rush Hour was awful, and then I got caught by 2 Nissan Micras which were trying to park so lost another 90 minutes.
You know what its like there though, while sat in the traffic, I saw 5 drop, 1 every 20 minutes they say.
Yep, nice bike ,more coming on it soon : )
Thinking of selling my SV650 and getting this :) I don't know how lively the engine is in this thing
It's a lot different, try it first, both good bikes but depends what your flow is and what you want 👍🍻
This is the review i was waiting for. Well done, great insight. I nearly bought an Iron 883 recently. Sooooo close. But then nearly bought a Trident...thought too long and missed out on both. Still scooting around on my G310GS and still enjoying it. 883 still on my list, with this, and the Honda CL 500. We will see.
This is a great bike , The CL500 is a lot of fun I must admit.
Love that color ER. Hope they offer this with mid controls, as I’m not a fan of the cruiser style riding position. Great review, and I’m still loving my 2021 NC-750x 6 speed that your review convinced me to buy. All the best, and keep us informed on the traffic restrictions in your town. Outrageous overstep of ruling class do gooders.
Hi mate, I went out on my NC today and it was great! I'm glad your still having fun on yours. Yes feet forward isn't my best riding postion either although the 350 version is spot on....don't sit on one because you will never want to get off lol... Do gooders is ironic when there is no good haha!
Nice review and Sidmouth provides a lovely backdrop.
I will stand to be corrected but I think the mudguards are metal not plastic.
Whoops OK thanks 😂had to be something 😂
A great insight, balanced and articulate. Between you and Zach over at Revzilla, you have my reviews covered... Good work
Thanks very much, Revzilla knock out some cracking stuff👍
A good review Steve, thank you. I do prefer metal myself, but a rocker not a MOD🤣🤣it is personal choice like jam first! Had a go on the new BSA finish better on the Royal Enfield but I have a 1967 BSA A50 and much prefer than the new one.
I forgot about this video...this was the one that youtube knackered up on upload so the revised video one is better which there is a link at the end of this video.
I really enjoyed the BSA, although the finish needs to be better from what I had,it sometimes takes time for this to happen sadly...I notice the new ones are finished much better now.
BSA A50 , wow thats really cool...I love the old stuff but not one who enjoys fettling so ill stick with the new stuff.
Thanks : )
Great review. Seems like you have some experience reviewing bikes.
Yes I give it a try, you should subscribe to see more. I'm Devons second biggest UA-camr.
Life's a ride not a destination, take the ride, ride the ride, feel the ride, ride ride.
Another great review ER, thanks. I don’t have this bike but the rear shocks on both my Classic 350 and Hunter did soften up significantly after around 500 miles. I’ve seen the bike with touring pack with front screen and pillion backrest and it looked fabulous in the showroom.
Good to hear! although this one had 500 miles and it was still tight. They are goodlooking bikes!
Let's be right, the rear suspension is rock hard; I've ridden smoother rigids. It may well be it will start to soften up after a few miles (my Interceptor did). Would it stop me buying one, hell no, loved my test ride, and changing the shocks wouldn't cost an arm and a leg. I think you'll find the mudguards are steel. Not sure about the forward controls, I think I would prefer mids. Not sure about the mapping, it's not as smooth off the idle as the Interceptor.
Yeap its hard for sure...The intercepter seemed softer to me as well but I wasn't sure if that was my brain playing tricks with me. Thanks
You can adjust the rear shocks. It does help.
Not enough though for me tbh
@@exeterrider oh dear, cushion or foam might help, sounds like you are in for a shock, a new one, two might be better though. ;-) YSS are sposed to be good. Good luck anyway. Going for another test ride tmoz myself so will report back on that.
@@exeterrider Demo completed. Great bike, unfortunately not for me. I see what you mean about the shocking shocks, found it a bit too much TBH, the roads are awful round here. The engine is a cracker, brakes are good, seat comfy, looks good, stable, but. I am too used to ADV bikes I think. Now, if the rumoured Classic 650 makes it to the showroom, or the Scrambler...wheel have to see!
Excellent one day review, hopefully you'll get a few more long term reviews.
I expect so , RE uk dont have any at the moment but I'm on the list : )
Nice one ER, just goes to show that if manufacture's can get most features correct, critics can gloss over the few minor niggles so long as the location/weather/reviewer/day-of-the-week/time-of-the-month/closeness-to-payday etc are all good!😎
Yeap the rear suspension is a issue for me but not a deal breaker, also I mention about the bars feeling a little too far forward but its again really not too bad and its properly a issue only for me and my knackered shoulders.
Your comments about the shocks being harsh could be that they are bottoming out as you appear to have the preload on the lowest setting. This is the same as my 350 meteor the shocks needed a couple of steps on the adjuster and they were fine.
They were at 2 up same as the meteor 350 I have now. It helps but still too harsh.
@@exeterrider on the clips where you showed them they were on the bottom. I have my meteor shocks on the third click up they also soften with miles mine got better after 1500 miles either that or my backside has no nerve endings left.
@@johnludmon510 😂😂I'm on second or third notch and it's better but still not what I want. Hopfully it will get better. 1200 miles on this one now.
@@exeterrider so did it get any better after more miles?
Hopefully someone will come up with a solution for the rear suspension. Once I get mine, God willing, I'll figure something out. Thanks for sharing. 😎
I hope so, it's always complicated when the back is so low on cruisers
Adjustable
Another banging review ER 👏🏻
Much appreciated!👍
Fantastic 'owners' review of the important bits if you're actually going to buy the bike, cheers!
Glad it was helpful!
This was really good and a bike I am considering myself. Thanks for this...
Thanks mate 👍🍻
Hiya, Thank you for this very well-put-together and fair review of a bike you only had for a day, I think you did a very good and fair review and I'm amazed you were able to do it justice in a day. Well done mate. I think I like the bike but I couldn't have a green one because green is unlucky you know. Thanks mate and ride safe.
Red/White is my favourite for the SM650. Thanks Paul. Have a good week : )
Cracking review again. You had some great weather for that! Looks like an amazing bike. I'm a big Royal Enfiled fan.
Yeap they make good bikes, you have ridden most of them and you "get it" 👍😉
Mad respect for your Contant, I’ve grown to be an old man riding Harley Davidson‘s, please review one I would love your perspective
I have 2 or 3 on the channel already like the Streetbob which I liked a lot , also the Pan america. Take a look at the HD playlist : )
Nice bike, but I'm waiting for the Classic 650.
You and me both!
Very stunning down there indeed.
Man this bike looks the nuts, would love to have a go on one of these.
The leg position looks very natural, something that a lot of similar bikes take too far forward so that’s good to see.
It definitely needs a screen, even if it’s only a small one, however like you said I suppose it’s built more for the single carriageways rather than a motorway 🤘
The bike really suits you mate, ever consider getting one?
240kg? Wow that has surprised me, it doesn’t look that heavy at all.
Definitely seems to be good value for money, something that is proving harder to get nowadays.
Great video mate, very well detailed, really happy with that. Hope you’re well bud 🤘
I have the 350 on loan still at the moment RB and that suits me more and its a single so has loads of character. I like both bikes but the 350 wins so far. Yes the value you get out of these bikes is superb!
Thanks for watching : )
I amtempted to trade in my 2021 versys 650 tourer for this bike. I will have to demo one as I am worried about the seating position affecting my lower back
Hi Dave, If your concerned about that then I would look at the shotgun instead...its better laid out for your concerns...Goodluck!
Consider changing the rear ..should do mate..
that bike is alright but a bit of small capacity for that genre really... But I'm waiting for the Enfield to show the 650 classic which could be sth really interesting
I want them to make a 650 single really, that will compete with the BSA then and add character.
@@exeterrider yep, that would be great but it's not going to happened anytime soon. New engine is a long process. Well, unless you use bmw f650 lump :D
@@UncleLongbeard that would kill it off😂👍
@@exeterrider didn't kill the Mahindra... oh sorry, BSA ;)
Really enjoy your RE reviews ..and a lovely location on that part of the coast
Thanks Tom, alot more coming on RE👍🍻
Good review as always ER. I’m considering getting a super meteor also considering a Honda rebel 1100. Undecided.
Rebel 1100 coming soonish 😉😉😉😉
Fantastic. Cheers ER.
@@Paul-67 the videos wont be out till October though, just so you know mate.
The rear shocks does get soften after about 800-100Kms.
OK but they had a long way to go , this bike had 500 miles on it.
Great review thanks . I've got the 350 meteor, I did consider the 650 but find the 350 does everything I want , 1000 mile tour is no problem ( just toured Cornwall and Devon ), but obviously the 350 cruising speed is 55 ( or 60 of you regear like I have ) . I suspect for two up touring you would be better served by the 650. Amazing bikes not just for the price but really offering character no other manufactur can 👍👍 outstanding
Yeap, the 350 would do me fine, lighter to live with aswell. More videos coming on both 👍
Thanks!
Welcome!
The rear suspension is a point of common comment on RE bikes the 350 meteor was know to be a bit hard and harsh, which makes me wonder if they are made that way for the very bad India roads and tracks, I changed my meteor 350 for the endurance shocks, which improved the ride 20-30 %
Definitely the 350 and the 650 is aimed at their domestic market above all others.
So yup the ability to take on dirt roads is important.
Im on the hunt for more compliant rear shocks for my classic 350.
I believe there are several makes around so i would think the same will go for the 650.
Yes , The up-grade seems to be very worthwhile, I have taken note already about those shocks Thanks Kevin.
Those endurance shocks Kevin is on about seems to be the way to go.
@@exeterrider good shocks for a real good price 👍🏻 oh yeah and pretty easy to fit
Excellent review as always.
Thanks Pete, it was great to meet you both today.
@@exeterrider we really enjoyed meeting you at last. Coffee at Bridge on us soon.
ER = “Excellent Reviews” or “Exeter Rider” - you pick! Both work for me.
A tremendous review 👍. I am not about to switch from the Interceptor, but it is good to see that RE have another winner. Jaez! The traffic......
Thanks so you mean your going from a intercepter to a Super Meteor? Yeap the traffic😂🚥👍
Ha ha! I have yet to find a good reason to sell my Interceptor.@@exeterrider
@@GapBahnDirk ahh sorry I missed the "NOT" part.
I don't blame you. Lovely bikes 🍻👍
Nicely done review again E.R. Re: the rear suspension (i'm not design engineer and im probably spouting a load of rubbish) But, the rear shocker is precisely lined up with the rider's coccyx and spine thus sending the shock right up the rider's back, meanwhile the feet are forward so all the riders weight is on that tailbone....... Don't shoot me, just thinking aloud.... 🤔😇
I don't own a gun so your safe. No your exactly right.....almost a perfect storm really for those shocks. Thanks Ken.
I like this Re Super Meteor 650😊👍
So you should, It's a nice bike, very nice to look at too!
Great review, thanks Steve. A few have "upgraded" from the Meteor 350 - according to my local dealer who has their old bikes in stock 2nd hand. But you're right regarding the thumping single vs the parallel twin - it's a completely different experience. This might be the same situation which faces the Classic 650 when it arrives. I found the rear shocks surprisingly firm too - even two up. The forward controls were a bit of a stretch for me. Hopefully, there'll be an aftermarket (or RE) kit soon to bring them to the mid position. Overall quality is exceptional for the price as you say.
Thanks Phil, red/white is my fav or any of the whites really for the 650. I still have the 350 Meteor and really have fallen for it. Its hard to imagine a 650 classic..I would like to see a 650 classic single to go up against the BSA.
Nice review Exmouth and I think you got the pertinent points spot on !
Anybody thinking that this is just a bigger Meteor 350 needs to have a rethink. It's a completely different bike, the only similarity being that both bikes are "cruisers" in style.
The character of the twin engine is completely different. The ergonomics are completely different. Maybe you can say that both bikes are friendly and easy to get comfortable with.
But I actually think it would be harder for a Meteor 350 owner to fall in love with the Super Meteor than it would be for somebody who chose the Super Meteor having never ridden the Meteor before. For me it is clearly a well conceived, capable motorcycle but it really didn't have the x-factor that the 350 Meteor does.
I think that probably way less Meteor 350 owners will upgrade than we perhaps all imagined when the Super Meteor was announced.
I was surprised when I tried it and found practically nothing of the Meteor's DNA in it.
Sidmouth rush hour chaos 😂 Quality !
Cheers Exmouth, love from la belle France,
El Outro and Roby
Thanks E.R, just so far apart arn't they. Its a bit like being in love with a lady, but her sister is tasty as well but one gets on better with the petite little thing but her sister makes a lot of sense as well.
Sidmouth was chaos that day, must have been an age concern concert or something.
Life is complicated
Le viva
@@exeterrider 😂
Age Concern concert ! 😂😂😂👍🏻
Yes, I should have stressed that more in my review but then I was somewhat overawed by the whole experience of actually having access to a demo bike and forgot 😝
Going from the Meteor to the Super Meteor will not be an intuitive switch. You will have to get used to a completely different feeling, mainly due to the ergos but also the character of the twin cylinder engine.
To be honest, I am not hearing of too many of my Meteor owners making the switch. I was expecting half of them to make the upgrade but so far barely a handful !
Cheers Steve,
Garry
A very in depth review, ER, considering you only had the machine for a day.
I'm sure that folk who want a well priced cruiser will boost its sales.
Hopefully Jim, Its a Royal Enfield so its bound to do well I think. CMS had them lined up to go out when they first launched them.
good review , rear shocks on a lot of bikes are often the cheap weak link in the price build of a bike ;; am sure this can be upgraded ,, all though i like cruisers - this bike needs the pegs moved to a more mid mount placing for the uk market - which will also take away some of the rear shock jaring as the rider will have more support from the centralised placement of the leg position , if i were the importer i would pursue this mod with some urgency ;;
Halgon make shocks for them but its only as slight improvement I'm told. I.m surprised no one has properly made a new pair for these bikes. Thanks
They are staggeringly good value. Until you see them in the metal and plastic you just don’t realise. They look to be a far cry from the Bullets of yor. Interesting to hear about the different feel from this bike’s engine. Maybe trying to give it a more relaxed feel?
Yes its a nice ride. I like everything RE are doing at the moment 👍
I have heard that the shocks for the motorcycle are a bit stiff initially, and become better after a few hundred miles.
This one had done 500 but it was still hard.
They are adjusterable have you tried ajusting their settings..mate..@@exeterrider
You could be right on the upgrade from the 350, but to be honest I think that the cost is too much to make it worth it, given the price of the 350 meteor, you could literally buy two 350's for the price of the super meteor, so is it worth twice the price, certainly some will switch, but it's a heart over head choice 😊
100% agree Kevin. For me with the type of riding I do I think I would go 350 and keep it, I'm really enjoying that "J" series engine. Again as you know its superb value.
Thank you for such a detailed review and enjoyed your opinion. Great location to shoot at. 😊
Thanks blake, yeap as normal that place was with 20 miles from me...lovely places around here. Hope your well.
@@exeterrider I am making my way. Stuck on this video I am working on and can't even get half way with it. Hope to have it out by Thursday. Thanks for asking
Do you think this bike would be a good first bike for a 6ft 4 tall skinny guy?
Hard to tell, but your height will be ok on it....its heavy at stand still though but yes it should be ok.
Good review it was nice to hear someone being realistic about Royal Enfield with regards to their incredible value and also their quality. There is no doubt they have come on in leaps and bounds from where they were a few years ago but I still think there's some room to improve and I would be prepared to pay a bit more for a more premium product.
Thanks Mike, Yes I think the finish is good but its whats underneath that is also important. Cheers : )
Great review, this bike definitely invokes that "open road" vibe. The rear shocks are pointed right at your spine, hopefully some aftermarkets might help.
They have some for the 350 so it won't be long till after market ones come out for the 650. Thanks for watching : )
Great review, They are lovely bikes, I think I’m sold and the aftermarket shocks will be out soon I’m sure
Cheers ER 🍻
Fingers crossed! Thanks mate
You mention quality of this bike and that the Japanese are better, what areas were you referring too and why are they better? Lovely bikes and looking forward to the Classic 650 variant.
I'm no material metal expert but the metals that Honda use for example seems stonger than the RE ones, nuts and fasteners also seem of better quality on hondas for example. Its a minor issue but relevant to me at point of the review. Thanks
@@exeterrider Cheers👍
A point about quality of materials, RE engines need valve checks every 3000 miles yet a Honda engine with screw and locknut adjusters is about 4 times that.
@@mikehurley5052 More and more of the Honda engines are mixed with screw and locknut on inlet and shims on outlet (or the other way around because I cannot remember 😁). It probably worth mentioning that it is easy access to the valves on the RE while my NT1100 needs a major strip down to access the screw and shim adjustment so if you get a dealer to carry out the work the cost at the end of the day will be very similar. I suppose each manufacturer has pros and cons, regardless of perceived merits of quality, but there is no doubt RE provide terrific value for money.
@@exeterrider My early Africa Twin 1000 bolts were made of 🧀. The quality on my AT1000 was nowhere near the previous Hondas I have had.
The previous year had rusty spokes as well, luckily mine had stainless after many people complained. Having said that my Transalp 750 is way better.
Gonna bite the Bullet and get an RE Super Meatier 🥩😊
The rear shocks are probably rubbish, usually are on budget bikes, but they were set on the softest preload position. A decent set of Hagons would make a big difference for not too much money.
Yeap that will do the job : )
Brill review ER and really enjoyed that again !!
Loving the slow moves not easy on camera 🎥
Great shots and lovely bike
Excellent 😊😊😊
Cheers Phil, Yes I'd normally re-shoot the foot down moment lol, but I couldn't be bothered ha!Thanks and it was good to see you pushing out a couple recently.
A nice honest review of a good looking bike. Although Meteor 350 owners might enjoy the bit of extra poke and more mile munching capability, while it's style catches my eye it's power to weight ratio still seems lacking to me. Though perhaps I haven't quite reached the age or reduced stamina levels to appreciate such bikes for what they are. As an owner of both a ZZR 1400 and a Rocket 3 GT everything else is going to be tame in comparison.
Yes Royal enfield offer something that you can't explain unless you "get it".....If you do then nothing else compares. I'm getting that feeling with the 350 Meteor.
Great video and review of a wonderful bike buddy but I was concerned that you may trigger your ptsd by being so close to all those dinghys during the walk around ......
I did have an accident , but once its out it was out.....the shaking was edited out.
Seems like with some bar risers and new rear suspension the Meteors are great priced cruisers. Would you say the 350 weight also felt manageable when maneuvering? And do you think the 650 is a better touring bike as it cove4s distances so well? Good review😊
The 350 is much easier to move around for sure. I have really fallen for the 350..
The 350 also can cover the miles , the 650 just does it slightly quicker and has a bit more left for roll on power. Both good machines. Thanks Lilly, Hope you and the family are well .
@@exeterrider thanks, we're grand. Son is taking his DAS in October and I'm hoping to finish my CBT at the same time.😊
It's a nice bike at a good price ER to state the obvious bit weighty tho for a twin but one could say it's a solid bike not sure on this one I think for me the inter takes it but it is a close run thing Enfield surely turn out some good looking bikes and in great colours I was surprised that it seems to have a bit more go than the inter though . Good one well done 👌👍
Yes its quite a lump Crumbley but as you know with all bikes, when your moving its fine. The colours are amazing arn't they, Red/White for me.
Nice review as usual. I am so annoyed with myself that I was underwhelmed testing interceptor and Himalayan. Virtually everyone loves RE but for me they have everything right, marketing, styling, nec stand at bike show, target audience and most of all pricing their best asset. However think how many more they would attract with competitive hp figures. So RE up yr bhp and I maybe a buyer😁
Oh and twin clocks pleeeeeeze
I felt the same about the first time I rode the 350....but now I had a long term one I have fallen for it big time! You may find it will catch you next time.
I suspect that power would need water cooled engines so they’ll loose the traditional look plus the resilience in the north of the home market. Then they’d loose most of their usp too.
The Goldie has the right power but it’s got pipes and radiator to spoil the look plus it turns it into just another middleweight like a Hornet Z650 etc. certainly it’s a difficult one to crack
@@craigyllyn very good point, yes I wouldn't want RE to lose their USP, the new Himilayen is going down that route.
Hope your having a goodtime with the Devon bumpkins.
@@exeterrider they’re a cracking bunch and missing your company. Just one question….. what was the name of their boy band back in the 80’s? I can’t remember 😉
@@craigyllyn yes they are mate, I wish I could have tagged along with the meteor, but hey ho. Boy band of the 80s....ummm not sure, the Worzels I would compare them with 😂👍🍻
Everyone keeps banging on about price, but the honda rebel 500 is the same power, legendary reliability and i believe actually cheaper
Yes but it feels a small bike compared to this one...physically this bike carries it self better and has longer gears. The Rebel is still awesome though!
The Rebel is a great bike till you see what it looks like
@@morrisminor56 looks pretty cool to me
The mud guards are metal or they are on mine
Yes I made a mistake,,,this was rectified on a RE-edited video in the link : )
The mudguards are metal on my super meteor, think you got that wrong
I proberly have, I'll update this and pin the post thanks
Hi Exeter rider , great put to gether review and good looking bike but it's not for me thanks again
Well I appreciate you watching the video Paul even though its not your thing. Thanks very much for your time : )
Aesthetically I wish RE would nix the pinch-welded tank, it makes what otherwise is a nice looking bike look like a cheap tin toy.
Thats a very good point , yes it could be better.
Not as good as a Kawasaki Vulcan 650 which has much better clocks and mirrors. Same price bracket.
Both offer different things I think. I like the look of the SM more personally, also it looks more authentic, but that's just me👍🍻
@@exeterrider The SM is much better looking IMO. Gonna have last test ride tomorrow and maybe...
I love the looks of both…but for different reasons. I see the split along “generational” lines. I’d expect the Meteor to appeal to an older more mellow crowd. Perhaps a more traditional leaning rider. While the Vulcan S I see as a younger man’s ride. Sportier. At the end of day, I expect both types to enjoy the same roads, for the same reasons. And the pub stop at the end will have them at the same table enjoying a pint. (The Vulcan riders will, of course, finish their beer first!) 🤗
@@just-dlwell there is a point RE SM has soul in character of sight ,sound and sets emotion in motion...hits the sweet spot...consistently...mate and that makes my day..
If you already start with calling that seat comfortable, i am out...
A marble kitchen top is softer!
Daily rider since decades here, please don't talk poop.
I found it fine tbh...Thanks for watching : )
@@exeterrider I did not watch after you told that the seat js comfy. Not sure with wath crap you compare, but i know not much bikes with a terrible seat like the SM. Even my rental scooters, S oopy, Click, PCX and Forza have better seats. Looks like you compare with a wooden bench in the park.
@@corneilcorneil I'm quite fussy with seats, but found it OK...maybe that would change if i had it longer term.
@@exeterrider Expectations are different. Even my 50cc bikes back then had more comfy seats.
A lot people complain there must be a reason.
@corneilcorneil yeap👍
