My favorite console by FAR. Bought one again a few months ago and have been using it non stop. I personally think it had the best games as I don't really care that much about graphics( which today's developers seem to be obsessed with, 4K this, 4K that) story and gameplay are what do it for me. Also, almost every good game that came out during that era felt fresh and new. Splinter cell conviction and blacklist, red dead redemption, gears of war, far cry 3, left 4 dead, Medal of Honor, army of two, so many great games that still feel fresh until this day. In addition to the Xbox 360's amazing UI, it truly is an amazing console.

I just got a factory sealed, brand new original xbox 360, the big white one with a date of production of April 2006. I like the look and feel of the OGs better than the slims, plus it is super nostalgic for me as I was 13 in 2006 when it came out. If you do not run them for over 3 hours at a time, they typically will not have many issues. The main issues was prolonged heat exposure causes the GPU solders to melt and separate. But if you only play it for an hour or two at a time you will be fine. But no one in 2006 did that haha. But I added the extra fans anyway. I also put new thermal paste on the chips when I unboxed it before even booting it on, as it had been sitting for 16 years. It was amazing to let that thing see light for the first time ever in 2023. 2006 - 2008 we got Halo 3, Modern Warfare, Fallout 3, GTA 4, and World at War. It was the pinnacle of the gaming industry. I was not doing my homework those years haha.
I think you got scammed Sealed Xbox 360s go for a lot of money because collectors usually try to get their hands on one. They go for around 1000 - 1500 USD. But maybe in your case someone told you it's brand new just to get some extra buck for it.
@@NinjaX2009 That does happen a lot for sure. Mine was real thankfully, paid $600 for it from a reputable seller, and I took it apart to the motherboard and everything was brand new. The reason I did that was to put on new thermal paste since it was like 17 years old. But it was sealed, brand new. Everthing checked out.
Have owned my 360s for 12+ years. A BEAST of a console. Downloaded evey game when Free game/games of the month (they did multiple games ea month at the end of the 360 life as new gen came out) and to this day. I enjoy so many games and always have something to play.
I'll tell you a story: Back in 2014, during thanksgiving, my dad went out to buy some things since it was black friday. He went to one of our local shops and saw an xbox 360 E holiday bundle (it came with kinect sensor, kinect sports, kinect adventures, and forza horizon), he also saw an xbox one. If I was there, I would have told him to buy the xbox one, but I wasn't, so he ended up getting the 360 E because he said it was on sale and came with games and a kinect sensor. Also, everytime I asked him to buy me a game for the 360, he would ONLY buy kinect games, so I ended up only having 3 games for the 360 E, and the rest were all kinect games

@@deadgoldenheart9560 true, but it's good exercise I had a Philippine friend in school and I would go over to his has often just to play just dance in the 360, my other friend would just play NHL 24/7 (not a big fan) so I would walk over and play kinect for a few hours and occasionally play hockey. my system I played Minecraft, tomb raider, call of duty and other titles which I personally preferred didn't play online much unless it was for Call of duty bo2 other them that I stuck with mainly story and offline games.
I have this exact slim model. Still works, no issues, and it's still fun to play. Got it in middle school and haven't looked back. I think what's great about it is it doubles as a gaming console and DVD player since I have a large collection of movies. Still an amazing console years later!
My Xbox 360 S is still running strong even after how bad I treated it. Left it on my dusty small desk on wheels with a messy room filled with trash. I was just becoming a teenager. It still runs strong today. My console will be 12 years old in October of 2023. I am just now trying to get a 360 game collection started. Finding a shelf to put the games on.
I use a bookshelf but for games, it's cost-effective and a great starter cabinet. Mine is about a case and a half long so they don't stick out but are still visible for company to see my collection. I've sold off most of my systems but I kept my 360 through thick and thin it will be with me till I die or it does.
I used to own 4 of them up until the Xbox One came out and had many games for them I lost while moving around but I still own about 30 games which are mainly the favourites, plan to own at least a couple hundred by the end of this decade. Also, I have a ps4 system I owned a few prior but sold so I need to rebuild that collection along with my ps1 collection of 3 systems 2 NTSC and one pal model and which has about 14 games altogether. And of course, I had to buy a Wii with 14 games and game cube compatible. Just need to find a ps3 with backward compatibility and invest in the ps5 and Xbox series x which I sold yesterday later and my collection will be near completion. For systems that is.
Not interested in Nintendo as much as PlayStation and Xbox. I've owned all the consoles xbox xbox 360 xbox one, ones, series s etc but financial issues will get you to do crazy things to your beloved items.

My children are now 7 and 9. They've been playing xbox 360 for 5 years. We have 3 in total. Ps2 will always hold a special place in my heart but hard to beat the 360 with game availability, range of games and the controllers. Love playing the 360 on our old sony trinitron crt tv.
i have the 250gb model S model and never filled it up. still runs perfectly 12 years later. i remember seeing kinect demos in a shopping mall and thought it was so amazing. 12 years later the camera sits there collecting dust having barely been used.

As much as I love the ps3 the edge has to go to xbox 360, it had so many great games that were fan favorites as well as exclusives. Till this day I have both my PS3 & Xbox 360! 💯🎮
I have an arcade model from 2008 with a 20gb hard drive and Kinect. No issues to this day, and I can still sign into Xbox live and have my achievements all sync. Yesterday, I played black ops 2 on it for the 1st time, and it didn't feel like a game from 10 years ago.
I sold my 360 for a Series X in 2021....only to realize a few of my games weren't backwards compatible. I do like how some games get a framerate boost/graphical enhancements when played on SX. 360 is a great system, but I think as a lot of the games are BC it renders having the system redundant - especially when the UI and messaging features are so dated and cumbersome to use.
I just sold my XBOX ONE and got a Series instead, but i kept my 360 and PS3 because theres games that aren't backward comp. I got so many games for 360 cheap but never played them that i have a huge backlog of 360/PS3 games. PS4 and One are redundant since you can play 100% of their games on the Series and PS5. I like that way because that's truly backward comp.
I still have a gloss black slim, still looks and works perfectly. It's the best looking 360 they made next to one in this video. I still keep it around for kinect games and testing out 360 games that I won't want to put into my One S. Games are still cheap for the 360 but I predict in 5 years they will start to go up as more and more get thrown away and MS stops selling some in digital format. I am old enough to have seen several console cycles and this is just what happens.
I have the Xbox 360 Slim and it still works today and I'm working on building my collection more and I keep it because there are Original XBOX and Xbox 360 games that I can play on my Xbox 360 that aren't backwards compatible to my Xbox Series X.
My Xbox 360 Slim got the red dot of death which is disappointing but I'm currently waiting for another Xbox 360 to get delivered. This is one of my favorites consoles so I hope this one doesn't break too.

I still use the Xbox 360 S from when I was in 3rd grade. Mind, it was a school day when I got it, early morning, went on playing GTA IV (in 3rd grade yes 💀) and nearly missed my school bus for it. It's simply the charm and the interface, it doesn't feel fake, you'd take some game today like AC Valhalla and compare it to AC 4 Black Flag (my personal favorite) and see the difference in the love for each. People may call it nostalgia blinders, but the 360 never comes in this category.

I own an Xbox Series X an recently I have had this urge to look up why I should own a 360. I had one I’m the 2000’s and 2010’s and let me tell you how much fun I had. I miss them days because they were filled with care free life as a child and teenager. My friend at the time we were friends at the age of 3-4 would play so much halo at my house. It’s memories I won’t trade.
There are still great games not available with backwards compatibility on modern consoles. My favourites are all NFS games, Gotham Projects and Atari's Test Drives. All of them top quality!
I’ve had every version of every Xbox now. The one you’re talking about with the touch button, though, it was a pain in the arse because my cat was forever walking past and turning it off. Still a good console though. I’m now enjoying the Xbox series. S and X is definitely my favourite
My Xbox 360 Pro red ringed on Christmas 2009. I remember I asked my parents for a halo game and was disappointed because I got halo wars instead of halo 3. Got just after the tutorial loading level one and the screen froze. Waited forever untill I finally looked down and saw the red ring. Made me hate Halo Wars for years lol. Got her serviced by Microsoft February 2010 and has ran well ever since, although I’m not sure exactly what all they did.
I still have the same Xbox 360 Slim i got in 2016. Since i got it in Februrary it was probably one of the last 360’s produced or last produced in like, 2010-2012. Idk how old it truly is. But it’s definitely no older than 8 now. Still works just fine for me to this day. Biggest issue, is the internet connection is abysmal when not wired to a router. But works great overall. Never gonna get rid of it.
I just bought a modded 360 S. I had an un-modded one back in the day, but I ended up getting an Xbox One, then next time I tried to boot up the 360, it had a RROD. But, I just bought one, and I'm absolutely having a blast playing all my old 360 games, as well as the MANY 360 games I missed.

I had the Xbox 360 E honestly it was a solid console to play but i sold it after getting an PS4 SLIM nowadays I recommend getting just get an Xbox 360 and jailbreak it because then you can customize the dashboard and take it to a shop to get 40 - 50 games added on the hard disk. Having a non-jailbreak Xbox 360 is same as the jailbreaked because most of the games and services have been discontinued.
I recently bought a Xbox 360 S from a yard sale for $10. It didn’t come with a controller, I had to buy a used one for $20 but I’m quite happy with it 😃 I can find games for it as cheap as $5 each & even though there’s no hard drive it plays well. I particularly like the quick boot up time 👍🏻
I also have an Xbox 360 myself which is the Xbox 360 S model and mine still works great too so far! I first got my Xbox 360 from GameStop back in the summer of 2016 for my birthday that year since I've had it now for almost seven years already and I also remember picking up the Kinect sensor for it including some really great Xbox 360 games. So far, I recently played on my Xbox 360 just last week and over the weekend, and one of my most favorite games for the system, as well as one of my most favorite racing games for the 360, is Project Gotham Racing 3 a.k.a. PGR3 which is still a really great classic since it has that old school racing feel to it and all. Last weekend, I also played one of my Guitar Hero games too that I have for Xbox 360 which was Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock since I even have some really great Guitar Hero and Rock Band music games for the system including the guitar controllers to go with the games themselves. I actually have two guitar controllers for my Xbox 360: an old Guitar Hero guitar controller for the older Guitar Hero games (also compatible with some or most Rock Band games too) and the Guitar Hero Live guitar specifically designed for Guitar Hero Live since I also have the Xbox 360 version of Guitar Hero Live which was the most recent main game that was released in the Guitar Hero series. In addition to the Xbox 360 version of Guitar Hero Live, I also have the game for PS3, PS4, and Wii U as well since I have those versions of the game for those systems too.

I also agree too about how PGR3 and the Guitar Hero games are such really amazing games and I still play them occasionally on my Xbox 360 every now and again. You should also definitely try to get back into the Guitar Hero games since they're really fun even though it's been a long while now since the games came out already. If you also happen to get back into the Guitar Hero games again, just make sure too that you have the guitar controllers for them since you'll need the right kind of controllers for those games unless if you play the drums or sing in the microphone since the later Guitar Hero games, like Guitar Hero 5, supported a full band experience in gameplay like the Rock Band games did. She said she bought it for her nephew about 15 years ago and he played it for the last time in 2009 (I found this in achievements) She said he moved out and moved on so she boxed everything up and taped it closed. She sold me everything for $100. It came with a literal brand new Xbox 360, 2 mint controllers, 14 games and all chords. I played the old hockey games all night. I’m looking to get the old black ops soon so I can play zombies. Since it came with two controllers I called up a buddy of mine and we pulled up the recliners and played MW3 for 4 hours. Man I just had the best night I’be had in a while. I felt like a kid again

Though, isn't almost every 360 game (Except for a few kinect ones) available on the newer xbox one/series consoles, making the 360 seam kinda pointless compared to a ps3 for example? Not to mention, I'm pretty sure the games runs at a significantly higher resolution aswell compared to the 360, and since the online services for the 360 are also soon to reach its EOL I would find it hard to recommend it over a cheaper xbox one in 2023, or whats your take on it?
Take Skylanders, older Forza and NFS games for an example. Several of those titles can't be played on the XB1 and are exclusive to the 360. And these days you could find the 360 for $20 - $50 in good condition and games included, while the Original XB1 is often for sale for around $80 - $100 without games. But if we take Black Ops 2 for an example, then it's worth to play it on the XB1, IF you already have one. I also find game collecting fun and the 360's game library is perfect for that.
I have 360 Slims that work great! Games are cheap, even tho I have a Xbox One X, Series S, and 2 entry Gaming PC's, the 360 is by far my favorite gaming console of all time!

I have an ancient 360 arcade model, it still works and has never had the red ring of death! The only problem with it is it will not connect to my wifi, I have the wireless adapter and it lights up fine but the console just acts as if it isn't there? Plays discs no problem, currently playing Rise of the Tomb Raider and Need for Speed Shift, both excellent even in 2023, shame about the wi-fi and I can't do cable connection it's too far from the router and an awkward upstairs run which would be a mess... 🤷♂️

This is just my own opinion perhaps, but I think Microsoft should at least release some sort of system update or something probably for the Xbox 360 next that will allow the internal calendar on the console to go beyond the year 2025 in case if there are any gamers still gaming on a working 360 in 2026 and beyond since there may still be some working Xbox 360 systems even past 2025 and also since the internal calendar on the Xbox 360 actually only goes up to 2025 which is only two more years from now since we're already in 2023. Most game consoles usually go up to the year 2099, but for some reason though, the Xbox 360 only goes up to 2025 which is only two years away yet. The year 2025 will also apparently be the same year when the extended support for Windows 10 will finally end as well.
@@Odeboo Yeah, although Microsoft should have at least extended the year on the internal calendar up to 2099 or something just like with the other Xbox consoles. Most game systems usually can go all the way up to the year 2099, but for some reason though the Xbox 360 only goes up to 2025, and you figure 2025 is only two more years from now too which will come up pretty quickly since we're already in 2023 now.
I think it’s possible that the calendar date is just a UI limit, meaning nothing special will happen to the console. But who knows what could happen :o

I just thought of asking in case if my Xbox 360 still works even past 2025 although the internal calendar only goes up to that particular year. I don’t know if there is much we can do at the moment. Maybe someone will start a community/group about the calendar situation, and if a vast amount of people would support the community and later on reach out to Microsoft, they maybe, just maybe they’ll listen and do something about it. And I agree that they should release a software update for the Xbox 360. But in the meantime, don’t worry about this since it’s still some time until then. For now just enjoy the 360’s great library! 😎

Yeah, the fun thing is the games on it go very cheap like 10 bucks or less while Next gen games are legit 70bucks for half-baked content! Example last of us Part 1 (remake) it sounded like an whole different game then found out they just upscaled graphics. Same goes for Halo
It is still a very good console, with lot of great games. On my channel I've modded several games, mainly unlocking the framerate to make them smoother. If you want, take a look.

This Xbox 360 250gb Slim matte was the best one they ever made in the 360 generation. The shiny slim wasn’t that great cause it got scratched very easily. And I didn’t want the E cause the Xbox one came out at the same time. So new generation was the better option:
I got x360 again few days ago, but it`s gonna be purely for kinect and some of my old faves like N3. The consoles are so cheap that I don`t even care about the model, as long as it`s S or E and not some zombie arcade or elite. If it fails, I can just get a new one for a few bucks.

Xbox one broke so i bought a job lot of 360 games and completed all of them. Best gaming decision i ever did. Completed all cods, battlefields, skates, rockstar games etc.
Still have my 360. Unfortunately lost all profiles, downloaded games and dlc. Only have like 10 discs now, no clue what happened to all my other games.

I just got a factory sealed, brand new original xbox 360, the big white one with a date of production of April 2006. I like the look and feel of the OGs better than the slims, plus it is super nostalgic for me as I was 13 in 2006 when it came out. If you do not run them for over 3 hours at a time, they typically will not have many issues. The main issues was prolonged heat exposure causes the GPU solders to melt and separate. But if you only play it for an hour or two at a time you will be fine. But no one in 2006 did that haha. But I added the extra fans anyway. I also put new thermal paste on the chips when I unboxed it before even booting it on, as it had been sitting for 16 years. It was amazing to let that thing see light for the first time ever in 2023. 2006 - 2008 we got Halo 3, Modern Warfare, Fallout 3, GTA 4, and World at War. It was the pinnacle of the gaming industry. I was not doing my homework those years haha.
All the BEST Game are not Backwards Compatible on MS , Forza 4, Tesdrive Unlimited and so on and on , happy I own sill 2 XB360 Glossy Black Trinity
I think you got scammed Sealed Xbox 360s go for a lot of money because collectors usually try to get their hands on one. They go for around 1000 - 1500 USD. But maybe in your case someone told you it's brand new just to get some extra buck for it.
@@NinjaX2009 That does happen a lot for sure. Mine was real thankfully, paid $600 for it from a reputable seller, and I took it apart to the motherboard and everything was brand new. The reason I did that was to put on new thermal paste since it was like 17 years old. But it was sealed, brand new. Everthing checked out.

Downloaded evey game when Free game/games of the month (they did multiple games ea month at the end of the 360 life as new gen came out) and to this day. I enjoy so many games and always have something to play.
I'll tell you a story:
Back in 2014, during thanksgiving, my dad went out to buy some things since it was black friday. He went to one of our local shops and saw an xbox 360 E holiday bundle (it came with kinect sensor, kinect sports, kinect adventures, and forza horizon), he also saw an xbox one. If I was there, I would have told him to buy the xbox one, but I wasn't, so he ended up getting the 360 E because he said it was on sale and came with games and a kinect sensor. Also, everytime I asked him to buy me a game for the 360, he would ONLY buy kinect games, so I ended up only having 3 games for the 360 E, and the rest were all kinect games

@@deadgoldenheart9560 true, but it's good exercise I had a Philippine friend in school and I would go over to his has often just to play just dance in the 360, my other friend would just play NHL 24/7 (not a big fan) so I would walk over and play kinect for a few hours and occasionally play hockey. my system I played Minecraft, tomb raider, call of duty and other titles which I personally preferred didn't play online much unless it was for Call of duty bo2 other them that I stuck with mainly story and offline games.
I have this exact slim model. Still works, no issues, and it's still fun to play. Got it in middle school and haven't looked back.
I think what's great about it is it doubles as a gaming console and DVD player since I have a large collection of movies. Still an amazing console years later!

My Xbox 360 S is still running strong even after how bad I treated it. Left it on my dusty small desk on wheels with a messy room filled with trash. I was just becoming a teenager. It still runs strong today. My console will be 12 years old in October of 2023. I am just now trying to get a 360 game collection started. Finding a shelf to put the games on.
I use a bookshelf but for games, it's cost-effective and a great starter cabinet. Mine is about a case and a half long so they don't stick out but are still visible for company to see my collection. I've sold off most of my systems but I kept my 360 through thick and thin it will be with me till I die or it does.
I used to own 4 of them up until the Xbox One came out and had many games for them I lost while moving around but I still own about 30 games which are mainly the favourites, plan to own at least a couple hundred by the end of this decade. Also, I have a ps4 system I owned a few prior but sold so I need to rebuild that collection along with my ps1 collection of 3 systems 2 NTSC and one pal model and which has about 14 games altogether. And of course, I had to buy a Wii with 14 games and game cube compatible. Just need to find a ps3 with backward compatibility and invest in the ps5 and Xbox series x which I sold yesterday later and my collection will be near completion. For systems that is.
Not interested in Nintendo as much as PlayStation and Xbox. I've owned all the consoles xbox xbox 360 xbox one, ones, series s etc but financial issues will get you to do crazy things to your beloved items.

My children are now 7 and 9. They've been playing xbox 360 for 5 years. We have 3 in total. Ps2 will always hold a special place in my heart but hard to beat the 360 with game availability, range of games and the controllers. Love playing the 360 on our old sony trinitron crt tv.

As much as I love the ps3 the edge has to go to xbox 360, it had so many great games that were fan favorites as well as exclusives. Till this day I have both my PS3 & Xbox 360! 💯🎮
I have an arcade model from 2008 with a 20gb hard drive and Kinect. No issues to this day, and I can still sign into Xbox live and have my achievements all sync. Yesterday, I played black ops 2 on it for the 1st time, and it didn't feel like a game from 10 years ago.
I sold my 360 for a Series X in 2021....only to realize a few of my games weren't backwards compatible. I do like how some games get a framerate boost/graphical enhancements when played on SX. 360 is a great system, but I think as a lot of the games are BC it renders having the system redundant - especially when the UI and messaging features are so dated and cumbersome to use.
They didn’t even made the Wolverine game or spiderman web of shadows and shattered dimensions backwards compatible!
I just sold my XBOX ONE and got a Series instead, but i kept my 360 and PS3 because theres games that aren't backward comp. I got so many games for 360 cheap but never played them that i have a huge backlog of 360/PS3 games.
PS4 and One are redundant since you can play 100% of their games on the Series and PS5. I like that way because that's truly backward comp.

I still have a gloss black slim, still looks and works perfectly. It's the best looking 360 they made next to one in this video. I still keep it around for kinect games and testing out 360 games that I won't want to put into my One S. Games are still cheap for the 360 but I predict in 5 years they will start to go up as more and more get thrown away and MS stops selling some in digital format. I am old enough to have seen several console cycles and this is just what happens.

I have the Xbox 360 Slim and it still works today and I'm working on building my collection more and I keep it because there are Original XBOX and Xbox 360 games that I can play on my Xbox 360 that aren't backwards compatible to my Xbox Series X.
My Xbox 360 Slim got the red dot of death which is disappointing but I'm currently waiting for another Xbox 360 to get delivered. This is one of my favorites consoles so I hope this one doesn't break too.

I still use the Xbox 360 S from when I was in 3rd grade. Mind, it was a school day when I got it, early morning, went on playing GTA IV (in 3rd grade yes 💀) and nearly missed my school bus for it. It's simply the charm and the interface, it doesn't feel fake, you'd take some game today like AC Valhalla and compare it to AC 4 Black Flag (my personal favorite) and see the difference in the love for each. People may call it nostalgia blinders, but the 360 never comes in this category.

I still have my og xbox 360 arcade version I bought in 08 or early 09 when I sold off all my ps2 stuff for it. I do however somewhat regret it due to not keeping some my games w memory cards. But to this day I haven’t sold off maybe some my 360 games but still kept allot of them from back then when I was a teenager. Great system still works expect the disc drive gets stuck and recently a few months ago the disc eject button broke off. 😅 so i probably gonna buy a slim model to replace it.

I own an Xbox Series X an recently I have had this urge to look up why I should own a 360. I had one I’m the 2000’s and 2010’s and let me tell you how much fun I had. I miss them days because they were filled with care free life as a child and teenager. My friend at the time we were friends at the age of 3-4 would play so much halo at my house. It’s memories I won’t trade.
There are still great games not available with backwards compatibility on modern consoles. My favourites are all NFS games, Gotham Projects and Atari's Test Drives. All of them top quality!

I’ve had every version of every Xbox now. The one you’re talking about with the touch button, though, it was a pain in the arse because my cat was forever walking past and turning it off. Still a good console though. I’m now enjoying the Xbox series. S and X is definitely my favourite
My Xbox 360 Pro red ringed on Christmas 2009. I remember I asked my parents for a halo game and was disappointed because I got halo wars instead of halo 3. Got just after the tutorial loading level one and the screen froze. Waited forever untill I finally looked down and saw the red ring. Made me hate Halo Wars for years lol. Got her serviced by Microsoft February 2010 and has ran well ever since, although I’m not sure exactly what all they did.

I still have the same Xbox 360 Slim i got in 2016. Since i got it in Februrary it was probably one of the last 360’s produced or last produced in like, 2010-2012. Idk how old it truly is. But it’s definitely no older than 8 now. Still works just fine for me to this day. Biggest issue, is the internet connection is abysmal when not wired to a router. But works great overall. Never gonna get rid of it.

I just bought a modded 360 S. I had an un-modded one back in the day, but I ended up getting an Xbox One, then next time I tried to boot up the 360, it had a RROD. But, I just bought one, and I'm absolutely having a blast playing all my old 360 games, as well as the MANY 360 games I missed.

That's not really true. The Xbox 360 E and S still do frequently get the RROD. The Jasper revisions (Phat) are the only reliable models.
Got a xbox 360 E 500GB hardrive console plus a kinect for R1200 (Rand) ($65.86) second hands but literally its brand new conditioning and has no faults. The onley thing I want is a original xbox 360 controller but looks like you cant find one here in South Africa
I had the Xbox 360 E honestly it was a solid console to play but i sold it after getting an PS4 SLIM nowadays I recommend getting just get an Xbox 360 and jailbreak it because then you can customize the dashboard and take it to a shop to get 40 - 50 games added on the hard disk.
Having a non-jailbreak Xbox 360 is same as the jailbreaked because most of the games and services have been discontinued.
I recently bought a Xbox 360 S from a yard sale for $10. It didn’t come with a controller, I had to buy a used one for $20 but I’m quite happy with it 😃

I also have an Xbox 360 myself which is the Xbox 360 S model and mine still works great too so far! I first got my Xbox 360 from GameStop back in the summer of 2016 for my birthday that year since I've had it now for almost seven years already and I also remember picking up the Kinect sensor for it including some really great Xbox 360 games. So far, I recently played on my Xbox 360 just last week and over the weekend, and one of my most favorite games for the system, as well as one of my most favorite racing games for the 360, is Project Gotham Racing 3 a.k.a. PGR3 which is still a really great classic since it has that old school racing feel to it and all. Last weekend, I also played one of my Guitar Hero games too that I have for Xbox 360 which was Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock since I even have some really great Guitar Hero and Rock Band music games for the system including the guitar controllers to go with the games themselves. I actually have two guitar controllers for my Xbox 360: an old Guitar Hero guitar controller for the older Guitar Hero games (also compatible with some or most Rock Band games too) and the Guitar Hero Live guitar specifically designed for Guitar Hero Live since I also have the Xbox 360 version of Guitar Hero Live which was the most recent main game that was released in the Guitar Hero series. In addition to the Xbox 360 version of Guitar Hero Live, I also have the game for PS3, PS4, and Wii U as well since I have those versions of the game for those systems too.

I also agree too about how PGR3 and the Guitar Hero games are such really amazing games and I still play them occasionally on my Xbox 360 every now and again. You should also definitely try to get back into the Guitar Hero games since they're really fun even though it's been a long while now since the games came out already. If you also happen to get back into the Guitar Hero games again, just make sure too that you have the guitar controllers for them since you'll need the right kind of controllers for those games unless if you play the drums or sing in the microphone since the later Guitar Hero games, like Guitar Hero 5, supported a full band experience in gameplay like the Rock Band games did. She said he moved out and moved on so she boxed everything up and taped it closed. She sold me everything for $100.
It came with a literal brand new Xbox 360, 2 mint controllers, 14 games and all chords. I played the old hockey games all night. I’m looking to get the old black ops soon so I can play zombies. Since it came with two controllers I called up a buddy of mine and we pulled up the recliners and played MW3 for 4 hours.
Man I just had the best night I’be had in a while. I felt like a kid again

Though, isn't almost every 360 game (Except for a few kinect ones) available on the newer xbox one/series consoles, making the 360 seam kinda pointless compared to a ps3 for example? Not to mention, I'm pretty sure the games runs at a significantly higher resolution aswell compared to the 360, and since the online services for the 360 are also soon to reach its EOL I would find it hard to recommend it over a cheaper xbox one in 2023, or whats your take on it?
Take Skylanders, older Forza and NFS games for an example. Several of those titles can't be played on the XB1 and are exclusive to the 360. And these days you could find the 360 for $20 - $50 in good condition and games included, while the Original XB1 is often for sale for around $80 - $100 without games. But if we take Black Ops 2 for an example, then it's worth to play it on the XB1, IF you already have one. I also find game collecting fun and the 360's game library is perfect for that.

I have an ancient 360 arcade model, it still works and has never had the red ring of death! The only problem with it is it will not connect to my wifi, I have the wireless adapter and it lights up fine but the console just acts as if it isn't there? Plays discs no problem, currently playing Rise of the Tomb Raider and Need for Speed Shift, both excellent even in 2023, shame about the wi-fi and I can't do cable connection it's too far from the router and an awkward upstairs run which would be a mess... 🤷♂️

This is just my own opinion perhaps, but I think Microsoft should at least release some sort of system update or something probably for the Xbox 360 next that will allow the internal calendar on the console to go beyond the year 2025 in case if there are any gamers still gaming on a working 360 in 2026 and beyond since there may still be some working Xbox 360 systems even past 2025 and also since the internal calendar on the Xbox 360 actually only goes up to 2025 which is only two more years from now since we're already in 2023. Most game consoles usually go up to the year 2099, but for some reason though, the Xbox 360 only goes up to 2025 which is only two years away yet. The year 2025 will also apparently be the same year when the extended support for Windows 10 will finally end as well.

I think it’s possible that the calendar date is just a UI limit, meaning nothing special will happen to the console. But who knows what could happen :o
@@Odeboo I see then. I was just wondering, but what do you think I should do as a suggestion with the internal calendar on my Xbox 360 once 2025 is over? I just thought of asking in case if my Xbox 360 still works even past 2025 although the internal calendar only goes up to that particular year. That's why I mentioned from before that it would probably be great if Microsoft could somehow release a system update or something next for the Xbox 360 that will allow the internal calendar to go past 2025 that way.
I don’t know if there is much we can do at the moment. Maybe someone will start a community/group about the calendar situation, and if a vast amount of people would support the community and later on reach out to Microsoft, they maybe, just maybe they’ll listen and do something about it. And I agree that they should release a software update for the Xbox 360.
But in the meantime, don’t worry about this since it’s still some time until then. For now just enjoy the 360’s great library! 😎

I scored the 360 S at a garage sale for $10 and refurbed it to totally mint. You can jam in a new power supply for $17.

Agreed with ya mate. Just got one recently and bought over 20 odd games for under £100 and they are great titles that play and look great. Having more fun on my 360 than on the modern gens
Yeah, the fun thing is the games on it go very cheap like 10 bucks or less while Next gen games are legit 70bucks for half-baked content!
Example last of us Part 1 (remake) it sounded like an whole different game then found out they just upscaled graphics. Same goes for Halo

It is still a very good console, with lot of great games. On my channel I've modded several games, mainly unlocking the framerate to make them smoother. If you want, take a look.

The slim was the best looking one and the most value for money shifted to pc years ago but still have that bad boi.
This Xbox 360 250gb Slim matte was the best one they ever made in the 360 generation. The shiny slim wasn’t that great cause it got scratched very easily. And I didn’t want the E cause the Xbox one came out at the same time. So new generation was the better option:
But the shiny slim is usually a trinity motherboard which is one of the best xbox 360 motherboards!
I got x360 again few days ago, but it`s gonna be purely for kinect and some of my old faves like N3. The consoles are so cheap that I don`t even care about the model, as long as it`s S or E and not some zombie arcade or elite. If it fails, I can just get a new one for a few bucks.

Xbox one broke so i bought a job lot of 360 games and completed all of them. Best gaming decision i ever did. Completed all cods, battlefields, skates, rockstar games etc.

I recently bought an Xbox 360 Slim just to play Forza Motorsport 2 and 4. Since they aren't backwards compatible with the xbone.

Still have my 360. Unfortunately lost all profiles, downloaded games and dlc. Only have like 10 discs now, no clue what happened to all my other games.

I mean, the transforming d-pad wasn't actually more accurate. It was the same weird floating d-pad with the same problems, it just felt different.
Good point! But in general it was easier to actually press on one specific direction compared to the regular controller
@@Odeboo I guess so, but it depends on the person. I used one for a while, and it was really just a novelty. If they REALLY wanted to fix the d-pad, they would've replaced it with the one they eventually put on the Xbox One. That would've been really cool.
