Wish I'd have watched this before visiting Hallcroft last Friday/While Monday. Got on Moat after the matches, only pleasure fishing. As always Nick, great video and so much information 👍
I'll never argue with a guy that represents Dynamite Baits... For commercial Carp/F1 angling, it's the only Groundbait I've predominantly used in 35 years of match angling.. (VDE/Sensas for silvers). I can't fault Nick, I've been watching his uploads since before he was backed by Shimano. Still never met him to chat to though. Definitely an angler worth listening to though.
Think they should do a resealable bag to make it easier to carry different groundbaits and store them better in your bait bag great video by your the way .
nick how old this hallcroft now, about 30 odd years i think , i went the 1st day it opened there was not a blade of grass anywhere, it was like fishing on the moon
I enjoyed video but have two requests, I have mentioned before with another margin video, this is meant to be a match fishing exercise, but you are fishing next to another platform where another angler would normally be fishing. I believe it would be more beneficial to have another angler on that peg, then show how to fish the margin up to the distance allowed under match conditions. Also I feel it’s better practice in these demo videos to return large fish like these straight back into the lake to save unnecessary stress to them.
@@Tony-ih8gw ok but on most matches on other waters that peg would be occupied, so I still think a video showing how to fish with a limited margin area would be helpful.
50minutes without seeing the float to under, and why spend the best part of the filming looking at the back of your head, more masterclass of you landing fish.I've just wasted 50 odd minutes of my life.
Don't know what video you're watching? At 44:50, 49:45 and 53:59 you can quite clearly see the float going under. You quite clearly didn't watch it all so thanks for the pointless comment.
Never get bored listening to nick ,fantastic angler.
Cheers mate, much appreciated

Hi,
Great video. What pole does Nick use?
nick how old this hallcroft now, about 30 odd years i think , i went the 1st day it opened there was not a blade of grass anywhere, it was like fishing on the moon
Speedy is the man.
Cheers Vince much appreciated mate

When pleasure fishing is it advisable to fish the margins in the afternoon of can you fish them all day? Sorry I’m new to fishing
In the warmer months its possible to catch in the margins most of the day but in the colder months its usually later in the afternoon only.
what pole are you using
Would you feed both sides or concentrate one one side
Under normal circumstances in a match Nick would feed both sides.
Which lake is this at hallcroft
Not only does nick explain why but how and importantly watercraft
Cheers pal
Nick, you said midi reactor core elastic.
But never mention size or colour.??? Ta.

In a match at Hallcroft you will never have an angler on the next peg so you can always fish there

Why you didn't show us the other fishes you caught ?
