Francos tipps are more worth for me then any machines and equipment. I'm not using a bishop but his tipps and tricks are amazing and they work with any other machines as well. It's all about practice and personal knowledge. A huge thank you to all of you guys from bishop and greetings from germany
Dude i tried this slow technics of back stroke and slowing down and cross hatching very softly and it softened my edges and smoothed my realism work this was gold!
“Last thing I want to touch when I’m tattooing is a fucking iPhone” 🤣🤣🤣 Franco you’re the man. I 100% agree with you. I’m so excited for these battery packs. Serious game changer.
Thanks to everyone @ Bishop! Love the wands, and I’m selling all of my other rotaries to get backup wands. They’re all I use now. it’s driving me crazy waiting for the Bishop Battery packs... the cheap Chinese ones work OK but it’s hard to be patient waiting for these. I would Love to test one Franco. Send one to Ricky Boy Suluape so I can talk him into sending it to me. 😂 he didn’t apprentice me, but he was there for most of my apprenticeship and taught me a ton. Anyway, stay safe out there!
hey franco just bought the shader wand and man by far the best machine youve made and ive had them all my next will be the packer for sure .. thank you again ive been to your shop a few times with a mutual friend wade sanchez awesome dude much respect Franco thanks again cheers paul cook
Love how after so many years Bishop is still being innovative! Many companies/builders make quick cash and split, I can name a few. Proud of you fellas. I have the V5,V6 and MicroAngelo. I don't think that battery would be comfortable. I guess I need the wands ;)
As I was watching the portion on black and grey, my wife came into the room holding her belly. We are 9 months 2 weeks in...and she asked me what I was doing. I told her "we can go to the hospital after this video". Joking of course. False alarm, so we're good hahaha
Pls get back the Friday show mr Franco we love to see you and You're mindset and talking is awesome u R the grandfather in tattoo industry and we love to see you every week so pls get it back and run the Friday show again
To check the voltage on a battery pack, use a multimeter. I picked up a cheap one and checked the voltage and it was right on point. Can't wait for the Bishop one tho. 👍🏼
I want to thank you for the excellent service and help (Julio). At last a manufacturer(brand) that is not arrogant and. No nonsens. My next machines will be a Bishop Wand for sure. i now Use the Fantom ,Great quality, the only problem is that in the Netherlands there is not enough knowledge. I hope to buy a Wand soon and try it. Keep up the good work.
80 % is right ! I finally learned that ! Right before watching this video (days ago) . Yesterday I tattooed and put 8 hours and only had 65 percent of the tatt done but she tapped out . I was ready to die to finish this piece . Any piece but no way she was taking anymore . I didn’t finish but being patient and Not speeding , your piece will look 100%. I was down this morning cause I didn’t finish but now hearing this , I feel I was right for practicing patience .
Wish I could have entered that raffle . Franco is one of the kindest people I’ve yet to meet . If it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t be tattooing again . Maybe I would have but he help push start me . Guy didn’t even know me and he threw me a bone . Ty
Exactly what I was thinking I dont want to have to use my phone to turn on or off e give etc. I even hated my smart light bulbs the last thing I want is siri being attached to my machine !
@Richard Stone .. That's Chuco! An ambassador and collector of some of the finest black and grey tattooing out there, he sadly passed away a few years ago. You should check out Tattoo Nation documentary he was part of it! It's about the origins of the chicano/black and grey tattooing in the u.s
15 hours it’s crazy , if it can last 6-8 hours it’s enough . Just hate those useless features I will never touch them but because of those features , it will cost way more .
Just got the v6, ive used many machines to shade and no problem getting smooth shadeing. But with this v6 first time trying organic give, there is hella ink marks and so on, cant really seem to figure it out. Tried from 5 volts, to 8 volts, tryed 4 mm needlehang to 1mm needlehang, tried diff technices, and angles. Somebody here that uses the v6, with 3.5 stroke to guide me? or give a tip?
@Fariman Norozi thats also the point of it, with direct drive, so it's 100% the artist skills and not that having "give" but yeah its hard with it, it goes a little bit better with it the more i get used to it.
@@simonkristiansen960 I had the same problem but now I've gotten used to it what I did to help was tried it at a low voltage and adjusted the needle protrusion to about 1/16" and went did fast hand movements to avoid skin damage and after a while I adjusted the needle protrusion and stuck it out a little more until i got used to using my hand pressure to determine the depth and the saturation of my ink and needle idk if you can understand what I am saying but i hope it's of help to you
@@LuisMartinez-sp8uc thanks alot for the answer, always good to get some help! i switched out my v6 to a dragonfly x2 for shadeing, and uses the v6 to do lines below 7 for now. I like this better, at least for me! :)
@@simonkristiansen960 whatever works for you is what's best for you I personally cannot line with the v6 till a few weeks ago I slowed my hand speed adapted my pressure and raised my voltage and was able to lay a 9 round line solid consistent no problem hope it helps. I also noticed my work heals better faster and with less scaring with the v6 . I'm looking to get the wand.
@@LuisMartinez-sp8uc alright yea! slower hand is key for sure, and some angle. I even use the 4mm stroke, but i actually dont like it, unless for stippleing
I'm a tattoo artist from Brazil . Here we can't find Bishop products. That's really bad cause you have amazing machines. (My dream is a Bishop Wand) And I think we can learn a lot with Franco Vescovi, Just use a microphone , please. 😑🙏 And thank you.

Wow!, thanks guys
The wands are great and the battery might be long lasting but the f.k. design is more compact and doesn't make the pen a foot long.
Great work James and Franco. I see this going into the future.
Stoked for the battery packs! Cheers chaps.
Dig the videos, just sent in my repair of my 2013 V5
Wand shader is well worth the price works better than I had hoped for thanks Franco

It seems when I do black and grey the skin get pretty swollen do you have eny tip for that
Franco you are the man
When will more wands get to the distributors I am a average guy trying to by one can I buy direct
Wish the battery can go more low touching the pen so it doesnt look like a separate part.It looks to high.
James you are a bit too loud talking put your volume down a bit
And you have a terribly annoying voice
I started with the 9v battery then switched to the adjustable wall charger and moved the switch in between lol
David uses round magnum or flat magnum cartridges?
True I can’t believe people thought a battery would wana be controlled by an app on my phone hahaha
HOW MUCH?
Greetings from Wales, United Kingdom. 🏴
Love the video but fix those sound levels guys. that strip joint announcer needs to get muted lol
CAN U GUYS ALSO MAKE FOR CHAYANNE USERS OR AT LIST AN ADAPTER BUT A REALLY COOL ONES

Better to have them and not need them, then need them and not have them.
whats the regulator you're using for the brushless motors? Can't run without one due to the nature of tattooing power consumption.
150 ? 15 hours , it will be best selling battery pack
Slow, steady, and surfacey
Friendly suggestion. Why not FaceTime on a tablet?
can't even hear david vega
Very hard the hear David.
thinking about investing in your machines but 1400 for 2 machines ...shessh..but you almost have me sold.
David Vega really didn't get to explain anything he was busy tattooing. I wish I could have learned more from him
Stainless steel needle cartridge please.
Dam como le tira a Fk irons haahaaha
Deff a strip club DJ. Not so much the tv voice 😂😂
strain Spanish subtitles please!!
