Have done this with Tire Rack. Nice service in the driveway. The Achilles heel is lack of alignment service especially if doing fronts. Amazed these guys keep their thumbs over the years.
Thanks for that video. Learned a lot about tire changing. Much more modern kit than at my local garage, they don't even need to spin the wheels up to speed anymore.
pRo gaMerZ Hello. I am one of the owners of Tread Connection at the corporate level. Price does a great job for sure. We have franchise owners in many areas including NJ. Not sure where in NJ you are but check out our website (TreadConnection.com) and many thanks to the video host for this segment!
That dude is the tire master. An your idea of having a tire changing party is a pretty good idea. Also im sure your feeling pretty good getting your tires finally so thumbs up to you.
Finally! New shoes for the 458! 👍 (The tyres for the 430: Continental is a brand from my country Germany 😉) I love meeting people who know what they are doing. And this guy definitely knew! An expert and very friendly. Loved watching it.
Dan have you heard of a product called Alloygator ? It's a wheel protector, I've been using them on my vehicles for years now. They come in different colors. I prefer red & yellow. To me they just accent the wheel and make it pop, or stand out. I just bought the 2006 F430 and the wheels are gloss black. I added the red Alloygator wheel protectors and it looks awesome !
Happy Belated birthday! Good choice in tires. The ps4s michelins worked well for me when I had those tires. Great all around tires for the streets in great balance of dry and wet traction.
Now that you have the wheels back on the 458 have you tried out the brake pedal feel since you had some air bubbles and debris in the lines when you flushed in your earlier video?
Great video ! That's an awesome service for tire installation !! Great to see Brad again !! Hey, while attending your birthday bash last night, I heard you talk about being with Stu when he changed his exhaust. ....is that content available on your channel ?? I immediately cruised through your channel looking for it but I couldn't seem to find it..... thanks again for all you do

I have to say I admire your knowledge on those beautiful machines and YOU, my friend, have the best sounding car of all those guys !! Congratulations !! You have an amazing car !! Happy Belated Birthday!!! Very cool service.. they don't have it near me, but hopefully soon. Is taking off/putting on the car part of the service as well, or is that all on the customer?
I wonder if their equipment can handle the super wide 335mm tires on the C7 Z06? When the C7 Z06 came out, the widest tires Discount Tire’s equipment could handle was 325mm and the operators had to struggle and hack it to try to get the equipment to “work” with 335mm. Eventually, Discount Tire got new equipment that was designed to handle the 335’s. I am interested in this service as I am coming up on getting new tires for my C7 Z06, but I am hesitant to do so until I get confirmation that their equipment will handle 335mm tires?
I like the idea of the at home or possibly at work and they come to you, but the need to widen their selection. I have a very popular tire on my truck and they don't carry them or even one I'm considering replacing them with. I'll definitely give them a try though otherwise.
Yay, the 458 has new shoes! Happy birthday and welcome to "middle age" where things start hurting for no reason. "Why are you limping?"...."I think I pulled my fat...."
I'm from the NYC area and am watching in horror with the poor social distancing the three of you are exhibiting and handling of the equipment without gloves. Hypersensitive out here compared to Austin. We've learned that the coronavirus is highly contagious and many have it and spread it despite being asymptomatic. Eek!
Until the government fires 30 percent of workers overnight to solve cancer, which kills 600,000 a year and has a 37% death rate, we can all do well to mind our own business.
Had many tires changed but never had anyone explain the process like this dude. Very knowledgeable
Yup Price knows his shit
I though Wayne from chashing cars was moonlighting as a tyre fitter when he opened the van door😀
Lol
It’s his brother.
The tyre guy was an absolute class act. Nice, courteous and educational 👍🏻🇦🇺
Indeed, Price is awesome

You don't need alignments when changing tires

That man takes serious pride in his work..very knowledgeable. Be comfortable using him on a nice set of wheels.
I was expecting Clark Griswold and his Christmas lights when the 458 touched down!
Great video as always... Those tires on your 458 are killer... Your 458 looks brand new.... enjoy it and keep those videos coming 😁😁
Thank you
Dan da man....that lighting pattern can make one go insane
Never thought mounting tyres could be so interesting. Another great video Dan. Kind of surprised though, your mechanic Vinne wasn't helping!
Haha Vinnie was at work
Good info and amazing tire machine . Sure has changed since the 70’s when I was working at the gas stations ⛽️
Indeed, I was pretty impressed with the equipment.
I've watched shops install dozens of sets of tires on my cars over the years, buy I found this video very interesting.
Price could be a UA-camr, he speaks so well! Great content 🇨🇦
Thanks

I have been waiting patiently for the Saturday morning upload. Hopefully its the new exhaust video tomorrow!
It's good
Just looked it up and they don't have anything in the Los Angeles area, :( I guess I'll just stick to the Chino Hills America's Tire, they do ok.
Darn. Maybe you should open a franchise there. 😁
@@normalguysupercar Hmm.... sounds like a possible plan.
Tire Rack and their installer network.
We are actively in discussions with several people in the LA area for franchise opportunities. Glad to discuss!

I believe they did my friend's 355 tires.
Paul Muehr yes we can handle these without an issue.
Does it also work with run flat tires?
Man Brad AKA “Big Sexy” and LeMans Championship driver Price Cobb! What a combination for winning with new tires!!!
Hell yes!
Brad reminds me of Thanos lol
Lolololololololol
That's a good thing I guess
Sadly they are not in Seattle. Don’t you have another guy who did this on your 430? Guy had a struck and trailer?
He's no longer operating in Austin.
Thanks again Dan enjoyed it.....
Thanks
That's a great service!
I agree
Did you buy another 430 after selling the one after you bought your 458?
Yes. You've missed a few videos
Happy Belated Birthday. Am I crazy or didn't you sell the 430 to your friend previously?
You've missed some videos
that shirt is awesome lol

You can always call and see if they can get it
We can get just about any tire you can imagine (and some you can’t!). Send them a message or call. Thanks!

Yes, you missed a lot. This is another car.
Is there a thing like that in Los Angeles

Spent a month plus redoing my wheels. Each one got scraped when a tire was put on.
Ugh!

Yes!
What about Alignment
It's fine.
Peter 210 changing tires doesn’t affect alignment.

Wish they had it in Houston...
Tomball
We do have it in north Houston area and they can probably service you. Thanks!
I bet this guy fits around 8 tyres a day. He talks more than he works. 😀
Longest tyre changing in history

You know it's not the same risk when there's most no cases in the area. We don't have anywhere near the same density problem as NYC
Yeah Dan! And you look so unhealthy and don't even fit the age range etc to fall into the category of dying. How dare you?!....
