Hey Are: Nice to give reference to Inspire I like his teaching. Your method seemed clearer to me.... Thanks And you do it without words (hats off from me). Cheers jerry Everett Ontario Canada.
Another great video, but please be careful. I once was ripping a tiny bit off a 1/4" thick box lid, and drug it back like you did. I was using a push pad. The board shot back and hit me in the wrist. Thanks
Another excellent video. I think one thing I'm taking away from this is that I need to make myself a stock of kerf width strips, and maybe do the same with slightly thicker strips to suit a single dado blade. It's not like they would need a ton of storage space.
Love this video 👍🏻 it’s really simple for simple minded people like me 😊 I have a question? On that thicker finger-joint could I make it with that same jig with a single tablesaw blade? I’ve been trying but my brain can’t get it to work. Thanks for the video.
Great joints they look great, out of interest i have noticed in past jigs you have made you use laminate flooring is it solid wood or mdf and out of curiosity why do you use it?

I'm leaving this comment here so that after a week or a month or a year when someone likes it, I'll get reminded of this masterpiece🙋
I really like that finished finger joint. That little trim makes a HUGE difference in the finished product! ! !!!

Watching your videos I must say I dont like your work, I just love it!!!
One of the most beautiful joints I have ever seen!
I really loved the second joint. Beautifull
Now that is a finger joint !!
They say measuring is the enemy of accuracy and this proves it brilliantly. Perfection with no measurement needed.
Super, hab so noch nicht gesehen.
Thanks for sharing
Just doing this from your experience gives me hope and encouragement 🙏. Thank you.

Just saw this and I like the method of the shim... Not cutting it and measuring it 4-8 times. (Has it's place, though..)
Great jig!!!! I'm using it!!

Nice box joints, and I like the accents. However finger joints are different. Check out the joints in molding and door jams at your local home center.
Thank you Ed

Perfekt 👍
That was the easiest way to make a stencil for finger joints that I've seen so far. I hope you can read it, English is not my forte.
BGM is like the tone of STING
Nice clamp
Really beautiful work, dude! 😃
Both joints look awesome!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Great idea for a box joint jig. But let's make a box please.

Второй вариант. Пропил не делать на всю ширину, чтобы на краю было чисто. Кажется будет изящнее.
Oh Yes !!!!!!!
Nett 👍🏻👍🏻

Гарна ідея! Дякую!

Tebrikler. Çift bıçağı nasıl taktınız, einhell markaya da olur mu? Birde aradaki spacer’i nereden temin ettiniz? Teşekkür ederim şimdiden.

Did you cut the larger shim with the dado blade to match its size?
Great joints they look great, out of interest i have noticed in past jigs you have made you use laminate flooring is it solid wood or mdf and out of curiosity why do you use it?
It's MDF and I use it because of it's super sturdy. Thanks
I would like to see how to do the second type using a normal saw-blade. In Europe we do not have dados.
👍👍👍
👍красиво!
to start those two boards just need to be the same dimensions and square?
