Texas fan here. I love these film studies. Glad you finally saw the kind of throws and reads Quinn was making. He wasn't perfect but to do anything against THAT defense is impressive, especially 358 yards and a 122 passer rating.
@@ChimonyaTexas outplayed UGA in a lot of areas. But like Brooks says over and over, the SECCG is just different. So many ELITE football players on the field, most of the game does come down to moments. That, and specifically which team has the better coach tbh. That one head coach can elevate everyone just because the standard is the standard.
Im not a Schumann hater by ANY means but when I saw Coach Muschamp putting on the headphones I knew it was going to be more of the same as last game with Texas. 3 of the best defensive minds in CFB going against arguably the best offensive mind.
Texas missed two fieldgoals. Had they just made one of them this whole narrative would be 100% Different. Quinn amazing, Sark a genius, Texas owns the SEC. Just needed to hit 1 36 yard fieldgoal, or a 42 yarder. So, "more of the same" is just a bullshit narrative.
Oh yeah fs, with the exception of maybe Oregon and OSU. They're DEF the 4 best teams this year (When Georgia remembers they are, they forget sometimes)
@@gamer9smith lmaooo, when Georgia plays ball and remembers that they’re like that, they play like they have against Texas lol. But yeah I also like Oregon and Ohio State, definitely my 4 favorites right now
It definitely felt like a heavy weight fight watching the game and this video proves it. Thanks Brooks. Really appreciate it. Hoping we meet again a 3rd time this year.
Haven’t watched yet, but I know it’s a banger. Brooks, I gotta say, you’re a wizard dude. I have the all-22, and I’m 10 hours deep in terms of note taking, and I’m barely through halftime. To get this done that quick and with the quality you do it with, is NUTS
@ I have a close friend on the UT staff who sends me them, otherwise i think there are some people who offer all-22 if you’re willing to pay. Caddy Catups is the most known one
I freaking love these .. I have learned A TON (and that's not a Bill Norton reference .. and are we talking former Georgia DL that transferred out Bill Norton?) from watching the breakdowns but I love how you mentioned that the QBs look is SO much different than what we see. It's just the most difficult position in sports, playing QB
Thank you for schooling Texas fans!! I know T.V. coverage doesn't show alot of details but these folks think the difference between a good play and bad play is qb play!! Hook'em🤘
Stamina. You know ball my guy. I have only seen a few of your videos but it's damn good stuff. Go Dawgs, Merry Christmas, and Happy College Football Playoff Season.
@TheFilmGuy Taaffe was a 2 time defensive MVP in the highest level Texas State championship for Westlake HS (yeah, Drew Brees, etc.), including an OBJ pick of Quinn Ewers. Colin Simmons went to Duncanville, though…
We need to talk about how Ewers did not leverage the short underneath passes, which were often wide open. He kept forcing the ball downfield and just wasn't accurate enough, plus the refs were allowing a lot of contact by Georgia secondary (then calling it when texas did the same shit). Frankly I think the SEC just wasn't gonna risk Georgia getting three losses and possibly dropping out of the playoffs.
hey-karma "make up" for last year SEC championship- ga had bama 4th and long. bama went for it. pass. receiver dropped (trapped) the ball. absolutely ball bounced on turf. bama ran a quick play so no chance at replay. bama scores. wins by 3....
Brooks I honestly think you could make your mark on the football world on your own without the major networks. They'll only limit your knowledge and passion
Brooks at 40:00 you talked about drops and opportunity to see a play. Then you described how Kirby responded to your question. His response sounds a lot like the thought process that Six Sigma Black Belts use. It's called the DMAIC principal. Define, measure, analyze, improve and control. If Kirby isn't a Six Sigma Blackbelt, he should go through the training as it would fine tune his problem solving thought processes. At 50:00 I think the DB pulled the receivers jersey at the shoulder pads. At 1:18:25 I see three holds on that play. Mikell, Ty and Malaki were held.
Ya, I agree, there were multiple holds on that play, I don't get how BA didn't see the defender behind Mykell, with arm wrapped around, grabbing the front of his shoulderpads under his chin/neck. That's the one I thought was easiest to see when watching the game RL.
I agree with you, Taffe #16 will play on Sundays. We hope he comes back for one more year but prolly not. FYI, he played for national powerhouse Austin Westlake along with Ethan Burke (one of the ends who made some plays and Kade Klubnik, Clemson's QB). Taffe intercepted Ewers (played for Southlake Caroll) when they played for the state championship in high school. They will all be on the field against each other in Austin come December.
Stamina! Brooks, I hope you get to watch Toombs County and Coach Buddy Martin for the Class A Division 1 State Championship game. High school football in Georgia looks strong this year.
Texas fan, great breakdown learn a lot every time I watch you. Why do you think Georgia defense, which looks amazing doesnt always show up? Georgia Tech, Ole Miss
They weren't the problem against Ole Miss. And it's the QB run game that's given them problems this year. It's why I'm still stunned Texas didn't use Arch in this game during points of struggle.
did anyone notice 54 on Texas line, would leave just before ball was hiked whenever he was pulling to the left.. not once did they call it.. I Kno they dnt call everything but handful were clear as day.. annoyed crap out of me.. love the show keep up great work
Brooks is great, but most of this stuff goes over my head. Is there a good video that does these tape analysis for beginners, where the terminology, strategies and tactics are explained when they are mentioned?
26:00 if they run it to the wide side of the field I wonder if they hit that Talking Arian… get him to Terrence and get that technique down. I’m more hopeful that it’s just technique 1:53:50 id like for Carson to hit the guy going deep right there 2:01:00 there’s 1 second left after the return which is why there was only time for a hail mary
A lot of Texas fans want to bench Quinn. After watching the breakdown, he didn't play as bad as they think.Georgia defense was getting pressure, covering, and stopping the run lol STAMINA
2 hours of straight ball knowing. Get this man on College Gameday.

Heh, they're not interested in long format even though they have a show that runs 4 hours.
IQ much too high to be a talking head on College LameDay
Naw they don’t deserve this level of knowledge. They got soft disney yesmans over there.
Become what College gamed day isn’t. Be what the people need.
Fuck game day. Clowns. This man is too good for that
Watching this show is like eating food with salt on it for the first time. I can’t go back to the old stuff.
