- I did one of these for Goku and Ultra Instinct, so now it's Vegeta's turn! In this new What if Mini, we'll be discussing what may have happened if Vegeta trained for the Hakai earlier on, unlocking Ultra Ego much earlier in the story!

You know what this just made me realize those people who assumed that Vegeta would get the attack version of ui weren't that far off

*UI* is the dodge and weave technique, whilst *UE* is the left hook, right hook.
Eventually their fusions may have combined the two into something above an instinct, maybe something stronger🤔
UI is the perfect martial arts form. Its all about dodging.
UE is the perfect warrior form. It bulldozes through attacks and is fuelled by battle.
The problem is, these forms don't mix together well. so if they fused into vegito/gogeta, they would have to pick between UI or UE.
I could see vegtio/gogeta switching between forms mid fight, basically a more op version of God to blue switch, using ui to dodge strong attacks, switching to use to get hit by weaker ones and then dealing double damage back

Why is it sick? Like it's just the name of the form and he didn't even come up with it because it's the actual name of the form.
@@Elhboy What? Yes Vegeta did come up with the name Ultra Ego. You can tell from the way he spoke Vegeta made that name up on the spot. If the form was officially named prior by Gods of Destructions or Angels it'd make way more sense to call it Haki Mode or something.

The scary part of hakai is that it doesn’t even kill you, you just get erased. You don’t even get to go to the afterlife. Welp no ones ever gonna come back from a hakai. (Unless they use the super dragon balls of course)
Isn't it more or less the same for death most of the time, though? You can't comme back from death except dragonballs, sooo....
@@coralieboucher7736 true, but you can’t use any dragon balls besides the super dragon balls to revive someone that has been erased. And the super dragon balls can literally wish back anything.

So up to now Vegeta has refined Super Saiyan Blue to a level Goku hasn't, learned an incredibly powerful Yardratian technique, can fire off hakais like Beerus, and now can use GoD powers to turn himself into Broly-Lite. Did someone raid a crypt, because holy heck is the prince getting a lot of bones thrown at him in Super. Love it.

Ultra ego sounds like a Vegeta's pride sweat and tears as a saiyan go into one form and just like beeurs he gets a boost from taking it damage and a Saiyan gets zenkais from neer death so this the best form that represent Vegeta's arrogance and pride.

Also ego is a bad thing in English but in Japanese it is entirely different the translation team tried their best translating the jp name

Ultra Ego seems rather neat as an idea.
It really leans into Vegeta's character qualities to make him a stronger and more interesting fighter.
I hope they don't ruin it later by making it normal power up like they have done with so many other forms.
honestly, I kinda wish goku stuck with ui omen. it was simple and unique. It acted more like a technique (like kaioken) than a form like true ui and its dodging ability was awesome.
They made UI a normal power (At least in the granolah arc at least) up so ultra Ego can be the same

Ultra Ego Vegeta vs G.O.D Toppo would have been neat to see during TOP, and really Vegeta having Ultra Ego just make thing easier for the Broly Movie and Moro Arc. Although Goku should unlocked Ultra Instinct Omen or Prefected Ultra Instinct before Granola. Anyways another good min what if, and looking forward to the next video soon.

Vegeta getting a God of Destruction form and it being called "Ultra Ego" sounds like something straight out of a fanfiction.
Toyotaro started off by making DB fan fiction, so...
It's also probably not a G.o.D form, given that it appears to be lacking any of the identifiable markings we saw on Toppo.
The only change from that form is no eyebrows
@@kingnekogon at a minimum I’d say that it’s channeling the energy of a G.o.D. though. Heck, maybe Getes even just figured out a way to not have the symbols like how Toppo has them. Freeza apparently CHOSE to make his strongest form gold specifically to mock the Saiyans so whose to say that Vegeta couldn’t modify the look of his own transformation? Maybe this is even more like UI Omen and there’s a further level with those markings that he just hasn’t accessed yet.
Actually, now that I think about it, it’s entirely possible that it’s the same form that Toppo has but Toyotaro and Toriyama decided that, since he’s a Saiyan, it looks different just so that they wouldn’t have to take the time to draw said symbols.
Vegeta's Ultra Ego literally makes him a pseudo Broly because they both grow in battle.

I feel like a cooler way to end Moro would've been for Vegeta to charge up some sort of hakai fueled galic gun, but have Moro go ahead and try to absorb it. However he just disintegrates from the inside.
Also a crazy idea I got from this video is what if Broly learned Ultra Ego o.o
I could see vegeta intergrating hakai into his attacks. Like final flash hakai.
Tbh the Hakai wouldn’t even be able to allow for beings to be brought back via the Dragon Balls since their energy and presences were currently absorbed within Moro. However, besides that, this was utterly *FANTASTIC! Great job!*
Just saw some of the most recent chapter involving Ultra Ego. Seems like the form has an effect on Vegeta’s mentality and personality. He seems to be less of the calculated battle hardened warrior we’ve come to know and more of a battle hungry berserker, though there are moments of clarity during his fight they get overshadowed by the battle lust he seems to now be drowning in. Something tells me that while Ultra Ego is definitely powerful, it’s going to need some work and refinement before it can be safely used to defend his home.
Also, something just for this What-if, but if Vegeta never got Blue Evolution then does that mean his Ultra Ego is actually a bit weaker here then in the manga?

@@demarkus4566 In the Manga it’s SSB Evolved, which is an evolution of perfected super saiyan blue. SSB evolution is an anime form and evolves from regular SSB
While the colour for the form still has yet to be revealed, I do like the idea of the form having purple hair and gold eyes. Purple hair since the form utilises the Power of Destruction which is often displayed as purple, and gold eyes since it's also like the opposite of Ultra Instinct which has silver eyes. Either way, I still can't wait to see what they'll do with the form next.
Edit: The colours have been announced! And while he doesn't have the gold eyes, the form still looks great. :)

I can imagine Vegeta creating an energy blast with a hakai ball center to shoot at Moro for him to eat so he gets nasty little surprise.
New what if idea: What if the majin buu saga happened before the cell/android saga. It would be interesting to see how it would be if cell had some majin buu, dabura, and kai dna.
The earth would be destroyed, simple.

@@coolbrice5990 Destructive instinct is lame ass name, ultra ego is a nice name that fits the character and is in oposition to ultra instinct in meaning. Ultra Ego is more meaningful, fits the character more as is cooler than "Destructive instinct"

If vegeta were to learn and use kai o ken on top of ego would that fuel it or not.
I imagine it could work one of two ways.
Turn kaioken on and get a steady increasing as you go.
Use small bursts of kaioken to do extra damge but also give your self a boost as you leave your self open for a bit
