No the way you have done the installation is perfect and I always do the same with bath's,, always use good baths with a welded base leg system then lasoo round it and rachet strap the bath with Sealant on the edges against the wall using substantial vine eyes into the joists,, my bath has never moved and its a jacuzzi bath,, I do it your way incase the bath has to come out and a shower tray has to go in,, and because its tiled first no need to retile,, great video ❤️👍

Nice Min Series, However a couple of words of warning for anyone watching this installation:
    1) Shower Trays should be installed BEFORE the wall boards, then the wall boards cut to the surface of the shower tray not the floor, as you would with tiles, as this gives a much better seal and less reliant on one large silicone seal. Fitting boards to the floor before the tray can also lead to issues with the enclosure installation as you will be on the limits on the enclosure tolerances (ie a 900mm enclosure normally have a max size 890mm to allow for a 6mm tile and adhesive). This gones for PVC boards such as shown here (Splashpanel I assume), and solid core boards such as Showerwall.
    2) Also when using PVC boards be careful not to leave boards outside in direct sunlight for a long time while cutting as high UV light can effect the colour of the boards.
Some great tips and tricks in this series though. Good Job.

When the wife has been hanging off the bar valve with both hands I have often wondered how much weight it can take . I use this as a delay/ distraction technique. Hold Tight love !!!!

cutting the pipes when the tiling etc. has been done is the most stressful part for me!!!! Done it plenty of times, and never done it wrong... but... oh, imagine if you cut it too short!!!!!!

WOW.... Putting the wall boards in first and then the shower pan is absolutely looking for trouble. Silicone cracks over time. That's just insane.

@plumberparts is that a special shower trap that you fitted as I never heard them. The way I was taught is that I need one hand over the shower and one hand under the shower tray + floor

As your aware, i watch your video,s all the time, and accept your never to old to learn from the master, But when i have in the past fitted shower trays i always worry about that wall joint, so i fit two pieces of upvc quadrant, and the neatly gun them in as well, i just worry about that mastic on its own,.cheers

Any ideas, the wetroom hole is smaller than normal but my Mum wants a square drain. I bought on but it won't fit. I think I will have to just use the top and not the u bend bit underneath. I'm going to tile over the tiles. Thoughts.

I do not like white silicone for some reason it comes and stuck very easy and also goes yellow and when I finish with the white I let it dry and then I put clear silicone on top and it will last forever believe me

Use the correct silicone...as some will react with the rubber seal.....causing it to fail...as it does with double glazing units in the window industry.

Jesus Christ...Not even used a corner & bottom trim for the wall panels and just silicone...absolute cowboy. That will eventually separate and leak 🤦‍♂️.
