@@alexandreavelar9696 I really enjoy it. I use it just for fun no professional use. It allows my tube screamer to sound fuller. I use it to get a deeper sound to fill out my chugging. I did find a spot where it sounds compressed too, so that was pretty cool. For now I really just adjust it so I can go from punk to metal. 🤘
I just got one, running 2 boards trying to level out my tone so kicking any of them on doesnt cause a drop- that and once my band starts playing i cease to be heard almost got the 10 band MXR or THE boss, not sure if I made out or what I'm even doing - before the first pedal (compressor) or after the last (Line Selector but before that the DL4 MK II) There are zero tutorials and what u read on Amazon's description is what comes in a tiny book. This was...fun to watch but any suggestions?
I ordered the bass EQ version 2 nights ago (and writing this when this video is only 4 hours old so I'm double ahead of the curve here). Since I am primarily a bass player and on a budget I chose the bass model because of the lower low and the higher high, which is good for bass slap. I would have bought both but, budget.. I watched the azor demos of the distortion and metal but they don't make it sound as good as he does, and they just demo one knob being turned up at a time, rather than dialing in a good tone. Had this video been out before I placed my order I might have been even more stumped with indecision, because that red distortion sounded really good, and I am also trying to choose a metal pedal since all my stuff was stolen out of storage and I am rebuilding on a budget. My order, largely influenced by this channel letting me hear them, were the saphue (kmise) ultimate drive, us dream and vintage phase, the Azor spring reverb, and from my own discovery and research, the azor bass EQ, and the graphics on it of a fedora hat and a fat joint helped the decision over the guitar centric eq with the mace weapon graphic. I am mainly purchasing for my guitar tones, and not replacing stolen guitar amps for now, just playing through my rumble 200 which was in the pawn shop along with a couple guitars and a handful of basses, so they survived the storage theft unlike just about every other thing I owned . $20 pedals with return policy from Amazon is a very good thing for my shoestring budget. An earlier order had the mimidi delay also from this channel (the echooos was no longer available). I still need a "metal" pedal preferably with a 3 band eq, but in am thinking the stack of ultimate drive, us dream and the bass EQ after it could fit that bill. Still want a timmy clone too, And since the theives missed a bag that had my OD1, SD1, TS9, CE2, BF2, CS3 and LM2B, and I recently got an OS2 and mooer pure octave used, I have a lot of options. But no transparent OD and I think the ultimate drive will do that. But I may get a timmy clone later. I am probably selling the OD1 because I need the money more than i need a vintage overdrive, and I also want to pick up a multi mode delay or digital delay, so that OD1 has to go. I have owned it for at least 25 years, black label short dash nothing uber special like a long dash silver screw but still worth about $200 that I need to put towards other gear, that is super affordable now. And the mini format is nice too.
I really don’t like the hiss. I’ve been trying to kill that since the middle ‘60’s. I like that you start from an actual clean sound before you do the pedals. That’s really nice.
I'm not a fan of the "Chug" but I am thinking about that distortion pedal...already have a real good clon clone and I have an old Dan Electro Fish and Chips 7 band eq that has served me very well.
This is workable right all together without the noisy one off the top I carry an entire second amp for my distortion and a Peavey Bandit for a clean and low gain... I only do that because I find amps for pedal prices
The red one is a clone of the BJFE designed Dyna Red Distortion 4 knob version. Bearfoot FX and One Control both have one, the only difference being One Control calls the Lomid control ‘Presence.’

I could easily see building an afford-a-board with the Distortion, Metal, and EQ. Distortion was an Alice in Chains sound to me. Metal was, well METAL! The EQ brought the best out of those two.

Amazing review as always, damn I love the sound of these. What I would love to know though, what is your setup? Are you plugged directly into a sound card or an amp with a microphone, etc?

I just found out Azor also makes a Blue overdrive that’s a Pure Sky/Timmy thing. Its been tempting but I can’t find a good buying option in Canada besides the slow boat EBay route. I’ve been searching for that belton spring pedal you demo’d for a while too.

I may just bite the bullet and go that route too...I’ve been so spoiled lately with amazon prime shipping times with these cheap pedals that it seems kinda weird to order one on eBay these days. But I can’t find a better source for this Azor stuff. I’ve got a pure sky that sounds great but the switch is starting to get shitty and it’ll likely break soon.
No it just smells like, halitosis from severe gingivitis in here! it’s been eons since I’ve seen a dentist , for some reason it has a hint of antiseptic and mothballs , with the ever present taste of iron from all the bleeding ☹️

It’s a shame Klons aren’t used more at high gain, because they produce some glorious metal tones when you pair them with a JB or Ceramic humbucker.

Yeah. You could fill out the sound with a bit of delay or flange and it would be dirty and dark.

I’ve got a few of these and they come with a Velcro and a piece of rubber both with adhesive on the back, has anyone figured out what it’s for?
Velcro is for mounting the pedal on a pedal board; rubber is so it doesn’t slip if you just have it on the ground.
Would have been nice to hear max gain on the O/D and Distortion pedals.
