My mom showed me this video in 4th grade when we were given the opportunity to learn an instrument for band/orchestra. I am a freshman in high school in the marching band and we won 1st place at our state competition for our division, and placed 7th in the state.
Sophomore here.. I play the French Horn and other bands normally have the Horn tilted at a 45 degree angle down so the Horn's arms don't ache as much, right? Well our band doesn't and my weak arms are so done by the end of the entire march... I cant imagine being a French Horn in this band doing a 9 minute show though our director doesnt seem to care... but we for some reason chose to continue to hold it up horizontally... hoping this Summer Camp for next year we finally change it...
