I had such trouble uploading this, but it's finally here! Due to School and Work, Cato the Younger Part IV will not be out until the very end of December or very early January. However, there will be another historical video not related to Cato, that will be out in December. This year is a very special year and a video must be made on it!
Really nice one, man. Quotes from Cicero are amusing, and I didn't know about this perspective of Cato's effect on creation of Triumvirate. Also a bit of suspense in the video. Cool stuff, waiting for the 4th part.
This is part of the reason I’m making these videos. Cato is pretty much forgotten and left out amongst the contenders during the Roman Republic. Cato was the driving force behind Caesars opposition and by the time of the civil war had nursed a great many among the optimates circle to almost blindly hate Caesar, but how will he react to the war? We will find out! And letters from Cicero become way more abundant the further we get towards the end of his life.
Bribery in the Roman Republic why who had ever heard of such a thing?
Amazing work! I'm doing a research on political philosophy and you're videos are a great help. Thank you!
