Stone monkey is the coolest for me, literally your Kaiju/Titan form, very tanky, with all your abilities too. 2nd is Yin Tiger, he's just so damn cool with the block, focus build up and nuke, the way he handle that greatsword feel so powerful and satisfying. Bonus the roars too, literally my top 3 NPC/Boss 3rd is Yellow Loong, with the highest skill ceiling to use for sure, but it's so damn powerful and satisfying when you pulled it off The 4th probably 'that another monkey' - it has really solid dps and easy to use, plus chill and frozen enemies. Only that a scrawny, crazy monkey doesn't look as cool as other transformations
Way to go Bad! Yeah, Kaiju, Titan is the way to describe it. Spoiler aside XD. Yellow Loong is prolly my fav now. Right about Umbral, I just hope he he just cooler than Loong but Loong is badass XD
Azure dome is best to use with final boss as you can also take advantage of life strand to extend your life and the transformation. On top of that, you can take remigration pill after the first revive of your transformation in order to get 2 more use before tapping into your own. Fighting those bosses with insane health bars on NG++ and beyond, having extended lives with life strand spell and pill combined.
Thanks for the tip TOT! but I think this will apply to many. In my Soulslike or ARPG journey, I didn't focus much on defense side of things of extra lives. I reached NG++++ just fine as well in this game but I get ya. That's lots of opportunities that can help a lot of people!
@@JRPGSamurai I agree with you. For my play through chapter 1-5, I only use pluck of many bc I have the 6th relic feature unlocked for one mind. This will carry you through any normal chapters. Only 2 bosses that I would use life strand spell to be able to survive longer. Sometimes, you got so close to beat the boss but you are also on your last pinch of health. Having the life strand will ensure that you have another shot to finish that fight.😀
@@TOTKBOTW Agree, yeah, the unified minds is one of a monster skill to use. This is the strongest move imo. I use this as well. But people are telling me that Azure Dome should be the one that caught my attention, in fact I played with it to do this showcase. But its not broken or anything.
Do you guys know that each transformation you do in front of Erlang will make him say different funy lines? For example, if you transform into the stone head, Erlang will stop hitting and just stand by watching and make fun of you. In Chinese version, he says: Wukong born from a stone, maybe you should try if you can jump out from this stone too? If you transform into Yinhu, he will tease you and say: maybe I should let you forge a new weapon for me .😂

Thanks for another awesome showcase! Crazy how the very first spirit and transformation you get in the game are some of the best overall. Umbral Abyss and Dark Thunder look awesome and really satisfying to use. I'm not really in love with Golden Lining due to what looks like kind of a low DPS with light attack and varied combos, it's also weird that you can't see the focus bar build, you just see the focus dots appearing. But the Death Trilogy attack looks amazing and appears to secure Golden Lining as a lot of people's favorite transformation. Great video - looking forward to what you come out with next!
Golden Lining is my favorite Transformation because of its burst DPS and Theme Song. With Golden Lining you’re not supposed to focus on Light Attack to deal damage, and it also does not build focus in the traditional sense. You have to “see through” the enemy while performing Varied Combos. Death Trilogy is an absolute monster when combined with Thunder Bane.
Man Golden Lining is prolly the best in terms of DPS, IIRC, thats 2500 ish for the first hit of Trilogy, 3k on the second and 5k on the last, it is also so satifyingly to use, imo they are all good, Azure Dust falls off imo.
Imagine making a mod for these transformations where Red Tide is Dom’s charger, Ebon Flow is Guts, Dark Thunder is whiplash from iron man & Stone Monkey is King Kong
The worm transformation works best with the needle artifact from Chapter 4. Release the needle, transform, self-torment. The needle will auto attack and attach larvas on your enemy. You can't attack during self-torment so you let the needle do the attack. This strategy could deal heavy damage against bosses.
All transformation in a nutshell: the fast & furious, the unga bunga, the Guts build, whiplash from iron man 2, Koba from planet of the apes, King Kong, and the useless ones
I didn’t even know he can do that either. I just used him to chip off broken shell sage phase two health. Plus the remigration pill works for him only as it gets nullified by other transformation forms. I was wonder why the pill doesn’t work sometimes lol. I learned things as I played.
This video is great on teaching me certain moves that I don’t know. But it’s missing some facts 1. On New Game+, Wukong gets a new spell called Life-saving strand. If you die with it in Azure Dome, you gain FULL focus, full hp, and moderate might. 2. Azure dome heavy attack (no matter if it’s varied because you can varry combo in that form) replenish your health equals to how much focus used. 3. If you go to 3 charge then transform into Ebon Flow, you can block and get Windwaker early. This can actually permanently stagger most enemies and deal massive damage. 4. Hoarfrost sometimes doesn’t need to uss Ice Sheet if you playing on icy map (like the final secret boss arena).

@@kahfipesek6208 hello kahfi, in my honest opinion and as mentioned in the vid, all of them has its own usage depending on the build. I see them all equally. However if you will ask me which is the most fun to play id say umbral abyss and yellow loong. Umbral Abyss for general builds while Yellow loong and Dark Thunder for lightning builds. While I have noticed that Dark Thunder can be the highest damaging tranformation since it has this Damage over time that you cast before de trasforming. and it will stay. You can even do combos while the damage over time is active. insane really. On the other hand. Yellow Loong's max skill DPS is over roof. Its last hit can deal 5k flat damage not counting the first two hit.
Not sure if I'm calling them correctly since I'm playing in Chinese, but aren't levelling the transformations (i.e. Yin Tiger, Stone Monkey, etc) passives that affect The Destined One overall, and not just specifically for the transformation?
Hello Kang and yes, when you upgrade specific talents, it will stay even if you don't equip the specific transformation that provides a specific talent.
It is empowered by fire and ice, so if you want fire attacks you have to use ring of fire to absorb it, or take fire damage while transformed from a different source.
Its ok, it was not explained in the game. If you got hit with fire element, you will be able to absorb it. Same with ice and as blackhat mentioned, just slot in Ring of Fire to be able to cast Scorch Shower.
@@blackwidow7804 ok. I’ve just beaten the game Ng+++ or 4th cycle using azure dome trick with remigration pill. For the final boss last 2 phases, if you can beat him down on the first phase with 4 focus points attacks, great, if not, use the plaintain fan to help put some damage on top of wonder wight. If you want, you can call azure dome in also, he will be revived if you have life saving strand spell. Once he went through revival, you can pop the remigration pill. I swear, I get to used my life strand 4-6 times and was able to beat him with this life extended trick. The key is azure dome in between you fighting him, every time he transforms, he gets revived once more. 😂

You have to use heavy attack to counter (resolute) to earn focus point. It's better to spam light - light - heavy just like the destined one you have to time it. But it's very OP when you use heavy alone with all 3 focus points. 1-2 focus point heavy attacks are pretty hard hitters with thunder.
These are max upgraded transformations. And I put a lowerthird in the video saying I had 167 raw attack to test all of them to gain consistent results.

Git gud. I use Yellow Long to wither away half of almost every minor boss Health Bar and 1/3 of Big boss Health Bar. His Heavy attack with full 3 focus points is a nightmare.
I don't use it and I have my reasons. Its strong for sure, I prefer more damage than simply taking Azure Dome as a cookie cutter for every build. Again this is a showcase and not a proper super top recommendations as I will be those later.

Sure it does have its unique quirks but its a be all and all transformation for all builds. Yellow Loong is by far better than this but again, i stated that it depends on the build.
@JRPGSamurai Azure dome is the only transformation that can kill 80% of bosses by itself, that's why I have it and believe it needs to be one. Yellow can not. You can get 3 to 6 full focus attacks off if you are lucky (fully upgraded everything) and given the health and might difference with yellow you need to dodge a lot more if you can't start your light combo because that's required to get your focus. Azure dome with the right spell and equipment set up will kill almost everything in the game for you. (Given it's ng plus nature you become op pretty quick, and dome seems to take more of your equipment into damage calcs than any other transformation)
@nxvh9062 Azure dome is the only transformation when I did my transformation only play through that could kill most bosses in one transformation. Yellow couldn't. It could kill about 40%. The spells (life saving strand if you let yourself die with the right amount of focus and equipment, you come back full health and might) and it varity and abilityin combat makes it a clear number one for overall transformations. (It's really my 3 favorite to play, but I gotta give it the one spot for every category)

Its easy to see through in this game prison. You will be filling that focus bar in no time with practice.

What do I have to do to be able to use the fire spell with the Azure Dome?
You need to slot in Ring of Fire instead of Immobilize before transforming to Azure Dome Koko.

The spells (life saving strand if you let yourself die with the right amount of focus and equipment, you come back full health and might) and it varity and abilityin combat makes it a clear number one for overall transformations. (It's really my 3 favorite to play, but I gotta give it the one spot for every category)
