Me again! I just got off of the phone with the Park staff. They said the sign was put there by them and WAS going to be accurate for this year, but because of some issue (they did not say what) that is on hold for now and when reservations are in fact required, the website will be updated with instruction on what to do

As a note, their website still says all sites are on a first come, first served basis. Site says no reservations. I wish there was more information on when and why that sign was put up. I know it is there but the officials seems to know nothing about it! I think that is so odd
Yes, and when we camped out there last September it was there. And thus video was taken in late December 2022. Hopefully they will make it clear and put the update 😀 Would love to go back there!
