Hi Gerald, thanks for watching. This was a great place to stay as it was so quiet. I want to do some fishing near here and we wanted to do some rafting but just couldn't fit it in our schedule this summer.
I am hoping to get the kids back here and doing the white water rafting. I figure it will take me a year to convince Lori to do it.🤣. Thanks for watching.
You need to try the white water rafting. I was also scared and I can not swim but I loved it so much I went back and did it again! Choose a good guide group and you will have a blast. We used Ace Adventure. The Gorge bridge is breath taking I would love to go when they jump from it some time. The campground looked really nice our kinda place but I sure do wish it had sewer hook ups. Seems like most state parks don't. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Melinda, I plan on taking Lori back. I think we could talk her into it. I am glad you enjoyed white water rafting. Bridge day is such an entertaining day but it is very crowded. Hopefully next year they will have it. The state parks in WV are hit and miss with sewer hook ups. We enjoy state parks cause they are much cheaper and not as crowded. Thank you for watching.
Thanks for sharing! It is so beautiful there! You guys talked about being away from people; Did you check out the old coal mining "ghost" town of Thurmond (Only 5 residence)? It is amazing!
Hi John, thanks for watching. We did not check that out....wow that would have been something for the kids to see and learn about. We may have to return here. Thanks for the info.

Hi Timothy, thanks for watching!
I worked in that Grist Mill after H.S. before leaving for the Air Force. I grew up 100 yards from the entrance of Babcock S.P.
Hi there and thanks for watching. How awesome and thanks for commenting. We were just talking about traveling back this way soon.
Oh" man that's beautiful what a place I'd love to camp there and go rafting Arkansas is cool but we don't have anything like that.

Clean looking campground. We have White water rafting there several years ago and yes, scary! Thanks for sharing, Paul & Magen
