This show is really something special. I’m beside myself that G4, specifically Xplay is back. Never thought I’d see this again. Loving the whole cast and excited to see more of Black Hokage and the Completionist, love their chemistry!!
I am so happy X-Play is back! And man, at 19:08 the song used takes me back, I used it for a project all the way back in 2013 on why video games should be considered an art form!
I just found this. You guys have no idea how much it means to me too see Adam still apart of this. I grew up watching the screen savers, call for help and of course extended play. I teared up when I saw the thumb nail. I'm 32 now been a fan for more then 20 years. Thank you all for keeping it alive

Liking The Black Hogage. Definitely missing Morgan Webb but the new cast has that “familiar” feel to them.

I've been a fan of TBH for years but I realize his playful antagonism is more enjoyable when his peers are on the same page and can dish it back a little. It's still SO early so I'm hopeful that a balance is found. Regardless, I've been enjoying everyone on G4 so much.

This is definitely a great start. As the cast gets more comfortable with being live and working with each other I think the show will become excellent later down the line.

Really enjoying the extra panelists, they bring a lot of useful knowledge while keeping it positive and not dunking on games they don't like.
So happy Frosk is doing well. She is an amazing gamer who really understands mechanics of games. Love the show and happy G4 is back without Cops or Cheaters.

It's 2021 and I'm watching a new episode of Xplay... It's like some kind of Donnie Darko wormhole back to a world where everything is ok. (XPlay was always my favorite show on G4! Attack of the who?)

It's amazing to me how after all this time, coming back to a very different gaming and internet community, and coming back with so many new hosts and presumably a new writing staff, just how much this revival of G4 feels so much like the G4 I watched in the 2000s.

Adjudicator is a fat executioner styled boss in Demon's Souls. The boss fight is similar to The Tower Knight in that you need to hack a weak spot until it tips over where then it really becomes vulnerable.
This gave me tons of laughs, reminded me of classic xplay but with a new energy for sure. Love the new hosts too!
Xplay should put these out on podcasts. This content would be perfect for that
The Completionist is the only new person I knew before all this but I love al the new people so far: Hokage, Frost, Fiona Nova, Gina Darling, etc. Good to see Adam and Kevin dont have to carry it all themselves.
Also Adam talking about Naruto is the funniest thing I've ever seen

Damn I can't believe the boy TBH is hosting a revived X-Play alongside Adam Sessler lmao.
I love the contrast between having the younger hosts and then Adam, who's almost 50. Frosk and TBH are just slinging lingo at Sessler that he doesn't understand and its adorable.
It is good to see Sessler back in the saddle, missed him and the rest of G4. Glad to see.tye the other fresh faces as well. Keep it up.
My brother said Adam's voice sounds like a cross between Keegan Michael Key and Vince Vaughan and now and I can't unhear it.
Froskurrin is by far their best hire so far. F'n hilarious
Frosk has the best energy. I love her appreciation of Cyberpunk. She's a new favorite. Adam is a Priceless Classic. Jirard brings a sense of class and thoughtfulness. Black Hokage is best when he's not talking about himself and I appreciate his games and anime perspective.
Regardless, I don't care about any of the games here but I love watching this cast.

Halo has always been a sandbox shooter, do it your way, figure out what works for you and kill covenant/flood. Opening up the game to open world is such a great welcome back to the moments of halo CE I.E halo and the silent cartographer
