    You’re spot on, the deeper you go the more rewarding the series gets as it really finds its footing.

    It's a hilarious romp! It's a little over the top in many ways - but that's part of the charm and why it's so engaging. In the litRPG genre, it's one of the best around. Give it a shot!

    How random. I'm currently reading The Fury of the Gods and listening to Dungeon Crawler Carl. Not at the same time mind you!

    100% ... most litrpg is unreadable garbage written by a vaguely inventive DM, full of irrelevant stat sheets and contrived / obvious storylines. Its a "trendy" genre that needs to move on
