- In the season 7 finale of Skinny Girl in Transit Charles visits Aunty Dupe to reconcile, Mummy Tiwa celebrates 100k subscribers, Wosi passes her test, Editi and his children beg Didi for a second chance, Derin and Adewunmi continue their relationship despite Derin changing the dynamic of their relationship, Tiwa and Mide's son gets hospitalised, Sharon kisses Dr Elijah who is preparing to take a job in Abuja, and MIDE KISSES ANOTHER WOMAN at the end of the episode. 😱

Regarding SGIT:
1. I like that they finally gave Mide some real flaws reminding the viewers that he is HUMAN.
2. These season should have been an introduction to a spin off show for one of the side characters.. Maybe following Shalewa's journey to finding her own "Mide"
3. Tiwa and Mide's storyline is concluded to be honest. The whole point of SGIT is for Tiwa to take us on her journey of weight loss, finding love and advancing in her career. She has done this what is there left to explore.
I think the spin off would be a great idea.
I second that, Ndani never ever conclude their shows.

Yup. I love them o but they need to learn how to start wrapping things up neatly. Before they win the award for best in not finishing what they start.
I also definitely always thought the show should have ended after they got engaged. No need for the wedding sef… Because the whole fat relatable girl meeting the most eligible bachelor just would have ended nicely with them getting engaged. But oh well… we’re here. 😅
As for the finale, it was underwhelming really.. no lies told.
However, I strongly strongly believe that Mide cheated (or will cheat) it’s not any dream kankan 😂
The thing is, men like Mide are rare, because very rich, handsome and eligible in every sense of the word is rare. But there are a lot of “regular” men that are super faithful to their spouses and relationships. We certainly don’t give them enough credit for that.

Honestly if there wasn't a time skip I would have preferred them exploring a storyline where Tiwa gained weight after giving birth. This just fits in so well with the general theme of the story and it would have shown another relatable side of motherhood. Even dealing with postpartum depression and how it would affect her relationship with Mide. They played into their fantasy relationship too much this season to the extent that it felt like there was nothing to watch. The only persons story that was handled well was Shalewa, everything else was hard to watch.

Glad to know you are well and nothing bad happened. Thank God for safety. For the show, honestly it felt different to me. Kind of slow paced, a little slow paced for me. Different from the previous season. I agree with everything you said really. I needed more depth to the story but it just looked very surface.
But I screamed sha when I saw Mide kiss Tana at the end. So that got me.

Good job yet again Tito. All glory to God for this testimony. I can only imagine what and how you must have felt. I for one do not think the viewers are to blame for this underwhelming season because the fact that we are requesting for a new season only means that we trust Ndani enough to give us something great and we can see the possibilities overtime. If Ndani knew they had nothing left, the would have just displayed “the end” after whatever season they felt they had reached the end they planned. And from all of the Ndani shows which you mentioned, they never actually do, so Ndani should take the blame 100% They saw the audiences’ desire and wanted to play to it, the onus was on them to give us something great or just tell us they were done. Besides, the only season I think the viewers were rooting for new seasons stopped at season 5 and afterwards, everyone thought they were done

I agree, SGIT should have ended. Then to draw viewers back, they could have done a spin-off with one of the other couples/characters as the lead.

Excellent review 🌟, this entire season was very underwhelming and annoying. So many confusing issues scattered everywhere without anything getting addressed at the end of the day. I feel like ndani tv can do better honestly. And that last scene should better be woli dreaming o.

"Skinny Girl in Transit" was that web series that changed a lot of things for me. I watched it, took notes, and it really sucked to see that this season was a miss.
How it got nominated and not the previous seasons still baffles me. Yes, this season dealt with some important topics but .....
The chemistry between Didi and Tiwa was so off.
I wish Shalewa stayed single (For someone who has dated back to back, she needed a break to enjoy her singleness.) My take sha
Mide cheating would never make any sense (I believe it is a dream), but if he indeed cheats, then they just made a mess of the character.
Sha sha sha I liked it but did not love it.

Thank you Anu. I agree with all you said. I really wish Shalewa picked herself rather than bouncing between men and letting her emotions get the best of her. It now looks like her happiness is tied to being in a relationship or having a man. Deep sigh.

You get and I also didn't feel the chemistry between She and Doc. And as for we Nigerian ladies loving up on Mide's character, I think it is because of the so many cheating stories(real and fiction), the propaganda of "Your man cannot be sweet and faithful but Mide is ❤❤❤❤. Yes, he is not a perfect man/character but he is a green forest. sha sha iss nor our fault.
PS : Please epp us beg ndani to bring back Game on and schooled. If Phases is lost, this two should be brought back

I agree, it should have ended in season 5. This season 7 was sooooooooooo underwhelming. Abimbola's acting was so off and cringey. it seemed she was forced or under obligation to shoot... The chemistry between the old actors was off.... everyone of them. It's time they wrap it up and close the curtains. Season 5 should have been where they wrapped it up....now is the next best time
Yup. But because of the way they concluded this season they'll now have to give us an 8th season. And the only reason we need an 8th season is because of the kiss between Mide and the other woman in the end. Aside from that do we really need closure on any of the other characters? Cos I can live without knowing how things pan out between Derin & Dewunmi and Editi & Didi and Mr Charles & Aunty Dupe.

IMO : this season wasn’t it. They just did , because the viewers ask for it. It’s better for them not to release S8. The last scene with mide didn’t make a simple sense , how she gon’ ask how the baby is and next thing you kissed her. Well for this season 2/10. Very disappointed.

And yes, I can't name a show that was well concluded from Gidi up to Rumor has it to Phases.

Hmmm. You did the right thing Lerin. Honestly that’s when they should’ve just ended the show because ever since then it’s just been one kind.
It is very underwhelming, everything was off this season. They shouldn’t bother with another season
So I think SGIT7 did do its best to wet our appetites on the plots and the cast but could not help us achieve orgasm, and they left a lot of things to our imaginations
they attempted to want to balance things, between where if there's no further season, this could serve as an end, and then also they didn't want to give conclusive ends so there's nothing to look forward to or no possibility of SGIT8.
A business perspective I must say.
Now a review on you,
I must say for the growth of your channel.
You have a good command of English language, you speak fantastically well and you pick your words carefully, something a lot of people, let alone guys are not mindful of these days.
And from the way you speak, you seem like a mature and well rounded individual spiritually, mentally, emotionally, socially etc
On the downside, you come off as a little too pragmatic, not a problem for me personally but being in the public space, it creates a subtle barrier on how people emotionally connect with you.
You may want to try appearing somewhat more vulnerable and relatable. It may seem out of your comfort zone, especially with the need to seem compact and put together, but we as humans need to connect to keep up and emotional connection is forged on the grounds of relatability and vulnerabilities
