Needed this. As an autistic person with ADHD and Dyslexia and from a poor family with no money to get me the treatment I needed, I always thought there was no point in trying. If i wanted help and treatment for my disabilities I'd have to work for it, but i couldn't work for it bc my disabilities got in the way. What people were doing at 18 I'm only getting around to do now at 25. The feeling of always being behind and never being able to catch up is overwhelming. But your words really spoke to me. Motivational videos never consider things like disabilities and other unavoidable set backs but due to your personal experience you did. This was the only video that truly got through me. Thank you.

Amy, I can't make you understand how much this video helped me. It brought me in tears several times listening to you.
I have congenital scoliosis. The amount of heavy physical pain and depression it gives me all time, is something I can never explain to anyone who haven't got this disability. But the 'unfair' life never lets me rest or have an excuse for that. Right at this moment I have severe pain in different limbs of my body but here I am, studying for an upcoming huge exam. Many times I've thought that what's the point in even trying but then I remember, god has given me a loving family and even if my body is suffering, at least I don't have any parts missing of it and even can work towards my future... life, actually.
Your words made me feel better and think differently. Thank you.
Edit: aaa I just edited some grammatical mistakes and now the sweet heart reaction is gone :(

I've been advised to have an gratitude journal many times. but i never really paid any importance to it because i considered myself to be enough grateful and appreciative and well i was in fact but now that after seeing this video i put some thoughts into it , i was being grateful but it wasn't for myself. i was grateful just because i had to and i was told to. i was grateful to my parents (i am still ofc), i was grateful to my friends for giving me time (then they betrayed me) , i was grateful to everyone but myself. i was never grateful to me for my achievements or good deeds. all this time i assumed i was grateful but i wasn't sure about it tho. and one thing i'd like to tell everyone is being grateful to yourself is the most important before being grateful for someone else.
now i just took out a journal , i was thinking of making it a journal for decorative purpose but ig i will just get a gratitude journal. : D . thank you very much and i am truly grateful to you for uploading this video and grateful to myself for watching it.

This is the first time ever I’ve come across someone who understands how hard it is to live a normal life with migraines! People used to tell me all the time (whenever I try to explain my condition) that it’s just a small headache, and that I should ‘get over it’ and stop ‘whining’ when I literally cannot even see my own hand. It’s so frustrating all the time. I always throw up, and I’ve tried handfuls of painkillers, but they don’t even make any difference. Sorry this isn’t my point, but I just feel so emotional right now 🥲 I had to leave my college entrance exam halfway because I couldn’t even see my own desk. I really resonate with your content, and am so thankful you chose to share this experience with us all. You’re a real source of light! ❤❤❤

I have ocd and it controls every aspect of my life. Haven't been able to work, study or even do my hobbies for years now. Idk what's next for me. I'm not ambitious or anything but want to live a life working like a normal person which may or may not happen. But I still have hope.

Last year was the worst year of my life. This year also has had its hardships already, but I'm just lucky to still be here. I've reevaluated my relationships, set goals and concrete steps to reach them and 90 % of the time, I follow through. And when I don't, I don't scold myself. Going through stuff sucks. Having gone through it, is a gift.

Straight to heart and so relatable that I can’t put into words, as a student who has migraines for the past 8yrs and who has to study so much everyday. Especially the migraine story, every word is so real, when we recover it feels like we won something big ! Thank you so much for talking about it, because people around sometime don’t understand at all. Feels so comforting ❤

You tell us to feel lucky, but I was already lucky that this video somehow came up in my UA-cam feed - and I wasn't even looking for self-improvement videos or stuff about life. I was just watching junk, like a pet puma pouncing on his owner (playfully) in bed, but in the back in my mind was 'You need a comeback.' And then this video materialized. I love how you don't do the usual YT vlogger schtick of offering sound bites or a list of to-do's. A comeback is not just changing your life, but creating a new one altogether, so it takes a whole new mindset. You nail it with mindset-behavior, and I love how you tie it in with your Chinese background with Yin-Yang and philosophies of balance. There is so much in Chinese philosophy that is directly applicable to life because much of life is about overcoming your demons, but you do that not by fighting yourself but by finding balance within yourself. Finding ways to survive in this world, to take care of those you love while staying true to yourself. And this speaks to action 3, creating goals that are truly yours. "The only way your comeback is truly yours is if YOU own it." I love that. Brings everything together. Once you know what you want out of yourself, you will know who YOU really are. And then you will know exactly what to do. That's when it call comes together. Your comeback. Thank you for energizing me. I think it really is time. After all, it's my year ;)

Oh my sweet baby Jesus, this is the first time I'm on your channel and girl you made me hit that subscribe button within the first 5 min!!
Your words regarding you health have inspired me so much and I've left with such a huge life lesson: "we will never know when our time will be stolen from us", I was able to relate to it cause I too have been struggling with my health the past year, and migraines too, but not the extent of yours, I'm so proud of you to pull through because I didn't even have it as bad as you did, but I know that it feels like hell with that pounding pain in your head. It just left me to think how much of life I've spent wasting time and waiting for a miracle to happen; thanks for telling me I AM a miracle (your sperm fact lol).
I loved your yin-yang philosophy and how it ties into transformation, hence manifestation, and how one without the other is stagnant process.
Thanks for letting me walk away with such valuable information, love you!!

rn I'm 18 . I've studied in the best school of my country which many people believes that just interring to that school would make your future looks so easier . they might be right Idk but the only thing that I know now is that I 've been in a wrong way . this year I took the uni exam and all of my friends , even those who I thought that are just living in their dreams toke whatever they wanted.... except me. once I start thinking about the fact that maybe all I'm doing is not what I really like . then I start nagging that I don't like studying and it's not what I really want to do . rn after finishing this video I just felt a punch in my face . a kind of fillings like you've been sleeping all the time without knowing . I know that I can , I know all of those nights that I just suffered to get what I have now and I know what I want ... but the connection, the balance between my mind and my actions has never been right .my mind is just living in dreams and my actions can never match dose . that's exactly the problem I guess.
I just feel like I found the problem and solution at the same time . I'm so thankful from you
when I feel better about my life I would come back here and tell you bestie .

Thank you so much for this vid! I saw your videos before too but this one hit home. I struggled through high school with health issues too, mainly acid reflux and a hiatal hernia. It made studying so hard. I felt so bad seeing other people study and solve problems and me lying in bed all day with my medicines. I have my entrances in a few months, keeping the idea of having a rock and having a visual space to view your strengths keeps me going. Once again, thanks for this video
Amy, keep up the good work of inspiring other people!

Oh man. Try having migraines, chronic pain (fibromyalgia) sensory sensitivity that makes me need to wear ear protection & sun glasses indoors, Autism/ ADHD & bipolar. It sucks to say the least! Yes I try to focus on how I am lucky. Positive perspectives. A lot of days the best I can do is just not make it worse, shut myself in my blacked out room, sleep & try again when I wake up. ❤ Stay strong, don’t give up.

I needed this video soo badly.. I opened youtube for a meditation video.. I found this video randomly and I'm shocked to see someone who's so relatable with me. I too have migrain.. I'm currently in my high school preparing for a medical entrance exam... But my migrain just push me back whenever I try to overcome it.. there has not been a single day without that unbearable headache! I try my best to endure it and study.. and I must say over a time.. my endurance has increased alot... I'm really grateful to you for sharing this video.. I'll surely apply it in my life. Finally I found a motivation video that is applicable to my condition. Just after I finished watching the video, I hit that subscribe button! Thanks a lot! ❤Love from India!

Part of this is because I recently got diagnosed with a disorder affecting my wrists which basically had me learning how to study all over again.
