  • This is how to gel cast your hair. Stop crunchy wet curls and gel cast your curls. If you want softer curls that aren’t stiff or crunchy, gel casting your hair is for you. I teach you in this step by step tutorial, how to gel cast your curls so they are not crunchy and wet looking curls. Curl cast or gel cast your hair! First you should wash your hair. Next apply a good gel to your hair. Use a towel to scrunch the water and gel into your curls. Last, use a diffuser and your blow dryer to finish your gel cast style.

    You are correct, be patient and let it dry completely! I let mine air dry and the trick for me is to NOT touch it until it's completely dry. Then start scrunching!

    I'm gonna try this if the other thing I'm trying to do to have my wavy hair not be frizzy doesn't work, a lot of people told me about gel casting so it'll be my last hope if this thing Im trying now doesn't work, but I hav a good hope about this methoid you showed.

      The cast definitely helps with keeping the frizz at bay! I can’t wait to hear how it works on your hair

    Love this video, I always think I have to fix my part after I scrunch - should I just get my part where I want it before putting on the gel?

    • @TheAngeSchofield
      @TheAngeSchofield  2 роки тому +1

      I would get your part where you want it and then scrunch. Or if you are looking for lots of volume I would not do a part at all and then adjust after it’s completely dry

    My hair is just like yours but I have bangs. Suggestions?

    • @TheAngeSchofield
      @TheAngeSchofield  7 місяців тому

      You can definitely do it exactly the same way. I wouldn’t straighten your bangs but I would let the natural wave/curl take hold and you could pin them back/away from your face while it’s drying

    My ;hair gets frizzy especially when it is humid. Would this style keep the frizz away?!?!

    how do you go to sleep with your curls without ruining them? i pineapple mine and then put it in a bonnet, but it always seems to look weird in the morning

    • @TheAngeSchofield
      @TheAngeSchofield  3 місяці тому

      That’s exactly what you should do but then it’s all about shaking them out in the morning, flipping your head upside down and putting your hand at your scalp and lifting the hair up off the scalp
