I have a 2006 equinox and on the drivers door there is another rod going from the top of the door latch to the outside handle. Your video was awesome to help me figure out how to get the other ones off but doesn't mention that upper rod. I have been stuck on that for a couple of hours now. Everything else is off but still can't remove the latch. Any idea how to get that one to come off?
Do you have a video on hot to replace this on rear doors?!?
I need to just remove the key cylinder of the driver's door. I NEED that yellow plastic clamp piece to be re-used. What are my chances on actually doing this? The key cylinder needs to be re-coded to allow the new coded key to actually work on it.
These door latches and regulators are a PITA to get to.. probably better to just cut that yellow plastic piece otherwise you're gonna struggle
Rods just don't come out...
