  • this might not be the right way but it works, watch my other video on how to pull the end bearing off not responsible for any damage caused this is just a suggestion on how to remove the gear set

      i planned on it but the harbor freight puller stripped out i also have 3 more transmissions to pull down also

    Hey man! how would you start an srt that has been sitting for about a year? Was gonna turn over the motor by hand for a few mins to let oil circulate, should I worry about the cams in your opinion? they are newish so if I have to take the cams out and lube them up before I do start to be safe I will lol.

      If it has oil just crank it lol. Mine been sitting for a over a year because I wasn't driving after a bad motorcycle accident. I just fired it up last week to move to my garage to install my big turbo kit. Got oil instantly in the head and I could tell because in the short drive it leaked from a middle valve cover bolt that I forgot to tighten down. Just fire up and let it ide for a couple minutes and you should be good.

      also I replaced valve cover before the move and there was plenty of oil film on the cam shafts. good enough to idle and then drive.
