As a non-mechanic, I appreciate you reverse-engineer a clutch to demonstrate how it works, and what common problems can be. I particularly liked the part where you disassembled the riveted plate to see the importance of those springs. Thank you for your time and efforts.

I learned a bunch watching this video. Now I know the science behind the experience. You are an excellent teacher! Enjoyed the video.

I was looking for a video to show my grandson how a clutch works so I can teach him how to drive a standard transmission. when I was a kid (100 years ag) everybody learned on a standard. Question. With the firmer contact of the release bearing with the diaphragm fingers, is the release bearing turning whenever the car is moving (whenever the clutch is engaged) (whenever your foot is off the clutch) and you are driving down the road. If so, how long will the release bearing last?

Thanks very much for taking the time to record and upload the video. It helps a lot when you can see how all the parts work together in sync rather than just being told. Now all the “can’t find it so grind it” drivers ,reverse gear especially noise I have heard down through the years now makes me cringe even more that I am a little more enlightened.

What a fantastic video. You break it down so well and explain what every little thing does. I find myself watching other videos and going okay but what does that thing that you just touched do 🙂. Thanks again this video was awesome
