Hi Dave ,l really Love your 4k video presentation it's the best / most beautiful IEMs review on UA-cam. I bought the p7 it's awesome/phenomenal only with high quality cables like NICEHCK HICOTTON OR GRKING FLAGSHIP CABLES works really well for me and affordable. The P7 is really natural realism listening with more mid bass and treble presence than P8. P8 still have better quality sound, texture micro nuance etc..but P7 also as good and more fun. Cable matters , higher quality cables is the key for your beloved IEMs max potential 🎉🎉❤❤🎉🎉 love this hobby so much Thank You and have a Merry Christmas and New year Dave and everyone Cheers mate.......😊
Great review, thanks! I have both the 61 T and P5 and really enjoy them. I have been on the fence about the Davinci vs the ISN H60. 11/11 is tough to resist. I have to say I'm not sure the P5+2 is a sensible upgrade for me.
If you don't have higher quality cables,11/11 is the best time for this NICEHCK HICOTTON OR GRKING FLAGSHIP CABLES WORKS GREAT FOR ME , or something higher quality P7 is as good as P8 more mid bass and treble presence natural realism vocal only pair with good cable to perform.DAC AMP is equally important Cheers. P8 do have more/better texture and micro nuance , treble is crystal sparkly on P8, both are phenomenal, you can't go wrong with the P7. Cheers.
@@Greg.Siucrazyforaudio2016 Thanks for the rec. I have so many cables from NiceHCK, Xinhs , Ivipq and Penon. I am always looking for something that sounds better when what I have already sounds great. Enjoy your P5+2 as I am sure it will end up as a purchase for me. Aful makes great IEMs!
Based on the date of your comment, it seems like you got it before the 11.11 discounts. If that's the case, how much did it cost to you? Because at this moment the price with the sale is 239. The price that all the reviews say. So if it was the price before the 11.11 means that the actual sale is just a bait and not real. That's something that gets me confused. Thanks in advance!
@@ArthaxtaDaVince777 I can not compare the P7 to the MP145 because I did not purchase the MP145 since I have small ears. Interestingly, the squiglink graphs and reviews of the MP145 by trusted reviewers really tempted me, yet I knew that they were simply too large for me.
@apollomoonlandings that's unfortunate, glad you're enjoying the p7. I'm looking for an upgrade for the mp145, but I guess I have to go to the 500 range for improvement
Thank love your videos. I pre order the Fiio Btr17. I own the btr5 and you always talk about how good the btr7 is. Hi would you campare the FiiO FH5s iems. I own the Davincci iems and enjoy them. I also use a pair of Sennheiser ie200. Thank you for you awesome videos.
Great review as always! I was really unsure on what to get for 11.11, Pula Anvil and Aful 5+2 were on my list, but I think i might step up a bit and get the Studio 4 Starry Ver. Is it worth the upgrade?
Considering all the 11/11 sales... it's the Butterfly81 that's in the 200-250 range ($238). The 61 is down to $175. The Dynaquattro down to $220 and Chopin down to $150... so what would be the best cost/performance with the Performer 5+2 as the most expensive @ $240? Is a PULA ANVIL114 review on the docket? It's right in the mix at $200.
Depends on your own listening preferences, I own the 61t and the Dynaquattro but skipped the Chopin even though it’s a great product and value because I have too many Harman style sets already. I will probably buy the Davinci or P 5+2 in the future but my wallet is telling me to stop 😅
this depends on how much do you want to spend , the higher price the better , the p7 is a better option ,after coupon discount , it's a steal for p7.about DynaQuattro is good in bass not treble,butterfly81 is a v-shape type, 61 is good for the money p7 is a more complete across the frequency , it's cheap to me , it's performance is near p8 90% of what p8 delivered. The Davinci also is a good option for bass lover, Chopin is affordable but not in the same level performance as P7 and Davinci. Spend more for a better set then no need for an upgrade for longer period of times near future.have fun Cheers.
I have both, the P5+2 is more balanced sounding, and the treble is less forward than the Origin. Technicalities like details, imaging and sound staging is better on the P5+2 too.
Probably because it's not in the same price category. He's spoken about the Explorer in previous videos - he likes it. But that said, it would have been cool to also compare this to the Explorer.
I think he shouldn't mention Davinci at all in his reviews from the ethical point of you. Cuz it would be very biased and not objective considering his connection to Timmy and Gizaudio
@@uglyfate1326 As HBB always says : calculate the bias. Whether we talk about collabs or connections/relationships reviewers have with companies/stores like Linsoul, Hifigo.
Legit question. In what way do these Chinese IEM manufacturers have expertise in acoustics? Headphones and IEMs are a huge market and it seems they just have jumped on the bandwagon, but I don’t get what background they have. Sennheiser , etymotic, Shure and some others have decades of research and the resources for acoustics and audio. How long have companies like Moondrop as an example been involved in acoustics or audio? Not knocking them for being Chinese, I just question all these companies which just all of a sudden came out of nowhere a few years ago making a new IEM every 3 months. 🤷♂️
I thought these were absolutely horrendous. The treble sounds synthetic & is very abrasive. This comes from someone with zero silibance issues (Final A8000 are some of my favourite IEM's & those are too much for many people). For the first time ever in at least 50 pairs of IEMs, I had to put the treble deep into minus on my Mojo 2. And again - synthetic - the treble just sounds like sharp noise that loses a lot of the nuances & characteristics of how the treble should be sounding. Couldn't sell them quick enough.
Hello, I need your help, Davinci or Tanchjim Origin or some third suggestion up to 300 dollars. I want to upgrade because I already have Meze Alba, Kato, Ikko oh10, Aria 1 and Aful Explorer. Is Tanchjim hard on the ear? I listen mostly to jazz and a little bit of soul, funk, chill..mostly it means music without vocals. Thanks, happy working
Had to sub after this one. Watched a few vids over the past few weeks. Good shit man

@wrbrown571 the Explorer or the Relentless?

How is the 5+2 compared to the Dunu DaVinci in terms of transient attack? Is the DaVinci faster?
Thanks
Thank you !
I recognize the song in the intro but I cant name it, I think it was sampled by A Tribe Called Quest

@ I’m glad you mentioned that. There is NOTHING on Dongguan Dadian Electronics co. Which is Dunu. You are a shill for these obscure companies.
Just copy paste what other have figured out and put a lower price tag that is more appealing to the masses. OEM, its what China does best.
