This is such a wonderful glimpse into your experience in Kyoto. What a beautiful campus!!! The interview with your teacher was especially interesting and joyful. You are certain to make an outstanding teacher, Rafi. Thank you for sharing this very interesting vlog.
You are the guy who went to China for high school right? Good for you. You got the rare chance to study abroad in so many countries. You are awesome. Keep going
Shit makes me feel depressed by how beautiful it looks. Like i genuinely havent seen a bad looking school in Japan. Id even go as far as to say that even some abandoned schools look better than the normal schools in ny country.
Awesome vid with great insights :) A quick question, but how did you manage to get to Ritsumeikan Uni? Was it through an exchange program from your home uni?
Yes! I believe my uni (Charles University in Prague) has a partnership with Ritsumeikan and a bunch of other Japanese universities, where each year they offer a couple 1 semester or 2 semester study abroad programs.
i want to learn Japanese at my uni, i only know very basic words like hello, goodbye, nice, water, dog, cat , rat, good morning, goodnight, some numbers and some colors. lets just say if i do sign up for an actual class how can i impress my instructor ?????????
The name is Ritsumeikan University, academic pressure is okay, from what I heard from my Japanese friends, the hardest part is to actually get in, but once you're there it's smooth sailing
You’re probably not going to read or reply, but, I guess I’ll try. I want to learn and acquire Japanese, but, I also want realistic expectations. With that being said, could you… answer these questions? 1: How long did it take you to get N5? 2: Did you memorize many things just so that you forgot in a week?
1) I don't know how long it took me to get N5, I never measured myself in this way like "how fast can I get to this level", my advice would be to just start studying, and if you're passionate about it, N5 or N4, even N3, will come on it's own 2) I do often times memorize things and then completely forget that I learned them, but that's why revision is key. You can't just constantly add more and more stuff, you have to revise a lot too. And by the time you've revised the same word 5 times, you'll find that it's actually been stored in your long-term memory.
LETS GOOO A JAPAN VLOGGGGGG, the interview with the teacher was so wholesome to watch :D
thank you bro hahahh, yes she is a sweetheart
