Casio keyboards are so good! Their sound of every single key is so good to hear and the quality is just amazing!! This keyboard's chords are all incredibly calming. You're fantastic at that instrument. I admire your talents.
Casio has always been a serious manufacturer of quality products such as watches, calculators, cameras etc. Musical instruments for home entertainment are also their field of interest for long time, but now they are up to be a strong competitor in a professional niche, and they make a splendid job. I have been playing Yamahas all my life, but my daughter purchased Casio px s1000 electric piano and the feel is awesome, regarding both key action and sounds. I tried several models in a local music shop, they are making wonders really. I played CT S1000V also there then, what a miracle!

This one is really nice, especially for the price, but I am saving up for the CT-S500 for its live sound shaping capabilities with its 3 assignable knobs and what not.
Nice video Giorgio, liked and subscribed! I am a guitar player who wants to learn a little about piano to help with guitar and to keep my mind sharp. I was looking at the CT-S1 and CT-S500. I like the simplicity of the CT-S1 but didn't like the lack of display but I thought that the CT-S500 had too many bells and whistles on it so I think that the CT-S400 might be just right for me. Thanks for this video!
If you are a pure pianist and not interested to a GM sounds, the CDP-S110 is better (for the full size keys and hammer action), but if you want to have a generalist key for all kinda of music, go to CT-S400 and spend the bucks you save with your girlfriend. 😉 Thanks for the question, please consider to subscribe to the channel. 🤟
I found your video a few days ago, then could not find it again until today lol. I have subscribed now. May l ask how you find the key action? Do you also think it has a good piano sounds? It certainly sounds great with your amazing ability.
Thank you for your subscription, much appreciated but, to come to your questions, if you have previous piano training you will find it "toyish", but much less than other keyboards of the same or even higher price, the piano sounds are good in attack of the note, the decay is "looped" therefore a little unnatural, but everything is acceptable for the price. You get what you pay for, let's say that the overall offer is all in all excellent. 🙂
@@bmp_giorgionegro Thak you for your reply. I don't know a looped decay is lol. I have learnt a bit of piao years ago. My Roland digital piano just got drowned in 1.5 metres of floodig in our town. I actually was ot inspired to use it often and l ave never really learnt chords. So although l know a couple of classical pieces, my mission is to learn chords and perhaps learn to play jazzy or swing type sogs. AAlong with more modern sogs. I went to a shop yesterday and tried a yamaha psr ew425, which souded great but it was rather chunky and lots of buttons lol. There is a smaller version. Honestly the casiotone lks450 appeals to me. Nowheree round here has one to try out though. I like the idea of playing along with songs i the songbook.
@@missfunk5 Let me summarize the answer so that it is as understandable as possible: Casio PROS - Portability and size - Fair range of sounds, especially electric pianos and the "Stereo Piano" Casio CONS - basic and not very intuitive sequencer, the styles are really bad Yamaha PROS - Much higher quality sounds, regardless of the family of instruments - Usable sequencer, with excellent Yamaha styles -Greater possibilities for external connections Yamaha CONS - Weight and dimensions - Synth keys, plasticky and not very usable in "important" piano parts If you want to take this type of keyboard to the next level you have to get AT LEAST a Korg PA 600: with this instrument I made an entire album which I link below. ua-cam.com/play/OLAK5uy_k1LVOTjh9pf8215VWhzfDO8M4EaKw6eu0.html I hope I have been of help to you. 🤗
I got the casiotone lks450. I like the key size and action. I love all the classical songs in the songbook. I think it will keep me busy for a faie while lol. Only cons l can see so far are the lack of modern sogs in the songbook and lack of more up to date rhythms. But ist is a lovely size and weight and l like the keys for playing classical pieces. I have the piano for all course to try and depart from classical and learn some chords now lol.
For the convenient price the manufacturer must save somewhere, of course I agree with you: sometimes for a few cents more spent on materials they ruin the products. But this is not the case. It still sounds good, and the video proves it. Consider subscribing to the channel, you would help me grow. Thank you.
For keyboard players it's ok, but if you're a pianist it's not the best. Consider subscribing to the channel if you want more content like this. Thank you.
Isn't for classical or jazz pianist. Just works for pop music. I recommend you a weighted keyboard. Kawai Digital Pianos are the best IMHO. Thnx for the question, please consider to subscribe to the channel for more videos like this. Thnx again. 👋
Don't expect big differences between keyboards of the same price point!. Thnx for the question, plz consider to subscribe to the channel for more videos like this. Cheers!
Not Exactly. You can paly with a Rythm Backing or record your performance, but you don't have a step sequencer. In any case, you can read the Manual: support.casio.com/storage/en/manual/pdf/EN/008/CTS400_usersguide_EN.pdf Thnx for watching.
I have bought this keyboard after watching your video, thankyou very much 🌷🎹🎹🎹🌺🎵

Average price € 230. It has very good sounds. For an easy carrying to a gig it is a fair cost! No computer or complicated setup. Well done Casio.

thanks ! i feel like this quality wouldve deserved a 1/4 jack output (instead of the 1/8) dont you think ?

Something, but not as Korg PA 600 Oriental, for example.
Ultimamente la casio merita...
Peccato in certi modelli hanno poche memorie
