- Today’s video is on how to replace your failed clock spring in a 2013 vw Tiguan. As well as how to code new module. This process should be the same across all first gen tiguans 2009-2016.
Tools needed are simple
T15 t25 torx
10mm socket
Some sort of pick or small screwdriver to remove airbag
M12 triple square bit, or a t55 torx bit. But possibility or stripping it.
Everything seen in this video is for educational purposes only. I’m not responsible if you mess something up! This is how I work on my car! Do everything at your own risk.

Hey I have a 02 Jetta 1.8 with a 2 step. Is there any way I can tune it myself?
If you can figure out what cable you need, what software for tuning, and how to tune it without blowing it up lol. Tuning a gas vs a diesel is a lot more unsafe and way easier to mess something up and break it!
hey! whats up? im from argentina im about to buy a 2010 Tiguan qith a brand new borgwarner k04, and its a manual, but it has 172k miles on it, im scared the engine blows up, any tips? thanks
Just make sure it’s up to date on all oil changes and stuff! Also timing chains and balance shafts need to be in good shape!
@@prestofixit3518 thanks for the response! tomorrow i will be picking up the Tiguan, and yes! previous owner seems to care for the car, the oil was always changed and the used manol 20w60 or 10w60 i dont remembrer, and the timing chain is brand new, it was chamged 3000kms ago, when the turbo was installed, ghe guy told me i have 60k kms to go without any trouble, wish me luck!
@@miloterra9191 I definitely would stick to 5w40 Castrol. That’s what the engine was designed to run on! And oil changes every 3to5k miles. Waiting till 10k makes a ton of sludge
Hey what's up how much do you charge to program a clock spring
I’m not too sure never done it for someone else. Where are you located?
