Definitely interesting and helpful!! Thanks for the hat patterns.
Love this! I have been curious about both of the yarns you tested. It’s always good to hear what others think about yarn and tools. I started my circular collection with KnitPicks and have moved on to Chiaogoo (for several years now). I still appreciate and use needles from KnitPicks but you’re right when it comes to being spoiled with Chiaogoo. Thanks for sharing! ❤
HI Laura,,,
I did enjoy UR podcast,,
I have bought those sets to try and they are great,,,,!!

Love this! I’ve missed your podcast, Laura!
Thanks for watching!
That was great thanks
I’m pretty sure that’s a classic skein! ❤️😎
Thank youuu😆
Gotta love errors that are easily fixed or turn out positive. I have a mix of Addi turbos (square) and Chiaogoo circs but my first set was a 'cheap' Michaels purchase which I used until I took a Magic Loop class. Aha moment.
So nice to see you again Laura! Yes, enjoy other people's opinions on different needles/wool.i use chaiogoo needles mostly. Have Hiyahiya as well. Purchased a set of Prim ergonomic circular needles to try and love them for doing Norwegian rib...so much faster and enjoyable. Check out Arne and Carlos for the Norwegian purling technique. GREAT episode, thank you! I 🥰🇨🇦Sharon.
Thanks for the tips!
I have Addi, Chi Goo and Knit Picks needles in my needle library. I prefer Chi Goo, but I don't mind using the Knit Picks wood needles. I wish I could remember the original Germantown distributor. I bought it 40+ years ago at my local yarn shop. It may have been a Brunswick yarn, but I just can't remember.
Love the hats, they look really cute. I really like the one that you are wearing. Since I learned to knit several years ago I have only used KnitPick needles, I invested and bought a full set of the big needles and also the small ones to make hats. I might have to try some higher-end ones.
I think they're great quality for the price! Love my hiya hiya needles but they are more expensive. It is worth trying different needles, though, because everyone has different preferences.
Awesome episode! I love that tweed yarn - such a great color! All of the hats you made look amazing! I have all different needles, my favorite interchangeable set is the Knit Pro nova cubics ( the plain cubics are rosewood). I like how lightweight they are and they also have a really good pointiness to the tips.
Thank you so much!
Loaf of yarn! 😂 Love it!! I also love me some faux fur pompoms. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the squared off needles. I’ve always wondered if there would be much difference. I’m glad to hear that you found them a slightly easier to hold. I might do some research to see what other brands there are. I have some wooden knit picks needles but I didn’t particularly like the cords. I felt like they never really straightened out and always had a weird curvature to them. Did you experience the same thing with yours?
Yeah I thought the cords were okay... but definitely a little stiff. since I was just knitting a hat they weren't a problem, but I would see it being an issue on a larger project
I’m not 100% positive on this, but the “log” is actually a skein. What we are used to buying is a “hank.” I think.
I think you are right! There were a few other comments about this
