I remember playing Runescape for hours and hours as a kid and my mom would ask, “Haven’t you beaten the game yet?” I’d get annoyed and reply, “It’s not that type of game… you can’t just beat it.” Well, guess I was wrong.
Well I mean you were right back then When you said that "You can't complete it" it really means that we normal people can't complete it. Just few people are crazy enough to go for: - All in-game items - All skills 200m xp - All quests done - All achievment diaries done I could never do that. Not even in billion years if I could live that long.
It might right now take 64k hours to finish the collection log but you have to take into consideration how many new updates we're going to get in the next 7 years so it's a lot more than that.
It'll be heavily skewed by clues regardless. A new raid with new KC and ultra rare drops may only add like 1000 hours at maximum, which ultimately really isn't anything compared to completing clues. You are right if you don't want to consider the megarare clue log slots as required for 'completion', which is really going to be up to opinion (I respect both parties tbh, though I think a 'complete' log without a complete megarares page would always have an asterisk)
Clues take up so much more time than the rest of the log that realistically it won't matter. Notice how much of a big deal someone completing the elite log is, in comparison to someone having all three raid logs completed, or the misc tab completed, etc.
and that’s efficient hours played in game. that doesn’t factor in eating, sleeping, or touching grass. so that 7 years, is realistically 25+ years if not 30+
The crazy thing is how Hey Jase is rank #2 in terms of EHC with 3rd age to finishing the whole log AND has already finished 200m all. So if you compared closest to "completing the game" he would be sooooo far ahead of so many players. 64.4k hours to finish the coll log and like 16k hours to do 200m all efficiently. Insane dedication.
Hey Jase is a really awesome dude and really glad to see him in this video! When I restarted my Old School journey in February 2022 (last played in 2007-8) I started watching his stream and asked a few noobie question here and there & he always tried his best to give a good answer, no matter how "low level" the question was for a legend like him. I'm currently 1884 total. P.S. If you like Drum and Bass, he has a sick playlist on when streaming!
I don’t understand toxicty to new players. We basically have a degree in runescape with the amount of info we know. What other use is it besides helping others and starting a new acc
Flipping old school! I love your channel and all your content! It makes my day when i get a notification that a new video has dropped. I have one question for you if you see my comment and get the chance to answer- Why aren't you in the gilenore games? You would be an excellent player!
I mean not having a job or anything is one thing, but I'd imagine if he isn't debilitated by severe autism or in a wheelchair, or something, it must be some severe addiction problem. Not sleeping much ever. I need to know this guy's story. But he's a kinda a dick if you talk to him at GE
There are plenty of people who have played much more than more than 7 years. However, sleep, food, work, etcetera are also included in that time. 7 years of GAME TIME, efficient game time at that, is probably closer to 20+ years. I wonder if Hey Jase will continue to try to finish. He's already completed XP maxing, in second. I would guess he probably won't stop until he's 100% completed the game, including anything that is added later on.
Too bad you didn't look a bit more into Marni as they completed ToA in December and are only a TBow away from completing all 3 raids. Still a great video though.
you cover every single corner of rs that other content creators are not and thats why i will ALWAYS watch you over any other osrs content creator (except for Settled, hes a different kind on beast)
imagine how many languages, how much money, opportunities etc could've been gained with the proper time investments. These accounts have over 2 yrs played, and that's being generous
What's your opinion on stuff like un-polled silent changes, for example in falador/varrock there's new black and female guard models added and changed old ones without any notice anywhere, or poll, even though nobody asked for extra stuff like that? Or in the barbarian village in free to play, the fire lasts forever and you can live there cooking trout/salmon to 99 fish and cook on any account type very easily. I see it strange that they decide to change 20-year-old-content without notifying the players, but they poll and edge people into voting for new content. Why change the old if they're making new anyway?
its mindblowing how incredibly rare they are for no reason. Shadows and Tbows for example are more useful, look better, and yet theyre more common than most 3rd age pieces aside from the pickaxe.
insane people, thanks for putting this together... note: things like the cox drops aren't even accurate (1 pants in 2k cms)... He had to get that stuff AFTER the collection log was added to the game.
As long as the servers are up someone will complete it, but give them 5 years from now? How many more collection slot will be added before that? Might be too many.
The problem with the 64k hours is that nearly 54k of that is clue scrolls, which is RNG dependent, which makes the EHC hard to accurately predict. It's possible to do within 30-100k hours but to give you some context, Iron Hyger spent nearly 40k hours to 4.6b his Iron man
They should have visable player collection log rewards for the extreme of the extreme players like different tiers. If a person fully completed it they should have the best reward privilege in all of RuneScape that isn't overpowered or somthing maybe even a cosmetic that can be combined with any other cape or all of them combined.. and even that feels a bit too little. Idk It just feels they need something big because that's such in insane dedication. I even think smaller collection log tier rewards should would be really cool/healthy for anybody regular to be able to achieve it feels like the new version of hiscores table race in a way. It seems like one of the biggest account showoff along with maxed 200m in everything (Maybe even a whole entire set of armor that combines all the capes, necklaces/rings there ability s/teleports) but most importantly a player tag for each of our their collection amounts milestones
I feel like it’s only the OSRS community where we see a “800 hour grind” and think, ya that’s doable. Most games people freak out about a 15 hour grind lol.
it's absolutely crazy how much of the collection log is taken up by clue scrolls, which are heavily RNG based. I'd be interested to see the highest EHC numbers with clue scrolls taken out of the equation.
I’ve gotten 3 3rd age pieces on my main. 3rd Age Mage Robe Top I got before collectiong log which is a equally as sad as that other 3rd Age items I’ve gotten which are 2 3rd Age Amulets. They look so dumb in my clog.. :D
That's standard English when talking about someone in the third person when you're not aware of their gender. Odds on are they're male, but you never know.
My biggest accomplishment is completing the barb assault tab on 2 accounts. although I think there's a guy out there who has it on maybe a dozen accounts
I fully expect someone to complete everything except clues in the next few years. Especially as some people going for it are going specifically for that. Or at least including clues but not including 3rd age.
So basically completing the collection log is just cluemanmode. Just goes to show this was never intended by jagex to actually be completed, there is no balance in 53,000 hours vs the 2nd highest 4,700 hours for bosses. The people genuinely going for a complete collection log are actual idiots who cant see that what theyre trying to do was not even ever intended by the very thing they are following.
I’ve been working on 100 mime masks with beret. Was devastated when I learned people force-spawned that a long time ago. Almost at 80 masks after ~4 years. I’ve definitely missed some and died in 50+ wild with a full outfit but I’m probably up there in terms of collectors without using exploits.
None of those numbers in the final clip looks right. I mean, 2000 hours to complete the raids log? You gotta do 2k CM COX, TOB AND TOA. 6K raids, no one is pulling 20min raids like that lol
Crazy how iron men are competing with normals accounts, ironman is 100x more impressive and tbh normals accounts shouldn't even be on the same highscores considering they just open implings they either get donated or buy from ge.
Probably luck factor is somehow calculated in this , because some of these collectors you see in these videos are not only insane grinders but also very lucky too

The dedication from these people is both inspiring, and terrifying.
Mainly terrifying.
If they used that energy to better themselves they'd be millionaires
And concerning..
Mucho autismo
Edit: don't use a comma before 'and'
Imagine what they'll think of their lives when they're 85.
"wow I spent my entire youth clicking a virtual tree, time well spent"
NOT!!!!!

The only thing I completed were quests. Which was 10 years ago. Then they added more and now I just watch pk videos lol
Some people idk how they even do it idk
Id spec her out
Imagine having 200m all and chasing for the rest of your life 2 pieces of Druidic robes left on the log to complete it

Jagex: "How can we REALLY screw people over?"

These players make me feel like I don't even play OSRS.
Sae bae has also completed a full guilded set. However one of the items was pre-log, but he’s an iron and has the POH spot full for it.
fun fact hey jase is also #2 for 200ming all skills right behind lynx titan. so seeing them putting this much time into clues as well is bonkers
I mean not having a job or anything is one thing, but I'd imagine if he isn't debilitated by severe autism or in a wheelchair, or something, it must be some severe addiction problem. Not sleeping much ever. I need to know this guy's story. But he's a kinda a dick if you talk to him at GE

Amazing video as always, and thank you for the shout out to Log Hunters
seeing this video has shifted my focus from log slots to log slots that arent clues

Feels like almost 2+ years kush Patel been on dragon tier
Most shoking to me is how worthless those rare as hell clue items are... Max 10m unless third age and even then ...
its mindblowing how incredibly rare they are for no reason. Shadows and Tbows for example are more useful, look better, and yet theyre more common than most 3rd age pieces aside from the pickaxe.
Good luck to everyone trying because that is a huge commitment to try and finish the clue logs.
insane people, thanks for putting this together... note: things like the cox drops aren't even accurate (1 pants in 2k cms)... He had to get that stuff AFTER the collection log was added to the game.
the raid log is astounding, so many raids, so much rng
Imagine what these gods could have accomplished irl with that kind of dedication we'd probably be on mars already
This is the content I subscribed for!
Watch up ty is also one of the best Raiders in the game. Last time I checked he was rank one for toa. Aussie player aswell
27.000 Hours equals 3 years of playing nonstop. Thats Nuts!
hey jase was the 2nd person to 200m every skill....
As long as the servers are up someone will complete it, but give them 5 years from now? How many more collection slot will be added before that? Might be too many.

Life is approx 600,000 hours... It takes 62,000 to complete RuneScape.. ultimate life goal 😎
Is it worth to buy ancient brews to flip? Is the price going too go up?
I'm sure it's correct but the thought that it only takes less than 800Hrs to get all the pets sounds a bit unbelievable
Nice, I haven't been on this channel in a long time
I wonder how many of them are speed addicts
Real
I feel like it’s only the OSRS community where we see a “800 hour grind” and think, ya that’s doable. Most games people freak out about a 15 hour grind lol.
8760 hours in a year by the way guys. This is crazy to see how many years these guys have in!
So 6 years play time and it’s possible
what im worried about is if they add another ultra rare to the master table when someones done 100k clues already
They recently made it easier, much more elite clues drop which are the tricky bastards... slayer update
Hey Jase is the 🐐 of OSRS
Mighty impressive !
Good to know on my 4th master I jumped above like 98% of collection log hunters - druidic gang 😎
Pics or it didnt happen
@@Swan584 i doubt I can post a link but just trust lol it was the garbage staff and only sold for like 312m 🤣
Only 312m from 4 masters.. you new to this game? that’s peng 😂
As soon as someone completes a whole collection log, the world will end shortly after
Where's the link for the time to collection log completion spreadsheet?
it's absolutely crazy how much of the collection log is taken up by clue scrolls, which are heavily RNG based.
I'd be interested to see the highest EHC numbers with clue scrolls taken out of the equation.
All is RNG based. It is theoretically possible to never receive any item.
@@SUBSCRlB3D you're not wrong. I'm referring the the absurd drop rate on 3rd age, which heavily skews data.
Can we get an updated video with another look at the spreadsheet?

There is a secret nutty player called trio elysian. Not ranked on coll logs but he has the most overal boss kc. Make a video on this gem of player.
Are these accounts all shared? Or why do you prefer to 'the player' and 'them'?
That's standard English when talking about someone in the third person when you're not aware of their gender. Odds on are they're male, but you never know.
woke shit
My biggest accomplishment is completing the barb assault tab on 2 accounts. although I think there's a guy out there who has it on maybe a dozen accounts
That rng and time off is scary
These are all assuming people have connected their account by logging into runelite at least once right?
What is the first song in the intro called?
I fully expect someone to complete everything except clues in the next few years. Especially as some people going for it are going specifically for that. Or at least including clues but not including 3rd age.
So to max and collection log you’re looking at working full time for about 30-35 years
There should be a collection log cape
And to think I got a 3A plate on my first hard clue on Leagues 2 without any drop rate buffs…
Quick shoutout to Kush Patel 👏
I when a log is completed, kush Patel will still be dragon tier for sure.
Marni is now top 5!
Jagex really need to prioritise backlogging ironman collection log slots for things in their possession/POH
Imagine how they’ll feel when grandmaster clues come out with second age items haha
Probably rapt, gives them something to do😆
Clickbait title. Nobody completed it.
So basically completing the collection log is just cluemanmode. Watch HP TY got his cloak and staff on 12/6/2022 did he get a double chest or in an insanely lucky back to back
It's getting every 3rd age item almost statistically impossible?
790 hours to get all pets? I'll have to sacrifice my first newborn because it took me 850+ just to get my goddamn Rock golem!
The craziest player here imo is Hey_jase, because this is all AFTER having done 200m all.
“Front Plage” 5:04
I once knew someone who told me they had played 64k hours of halo 2.
It's always bothered Me in every game that you can get duplicate drops.
And I'm still hoping for an offline ironman for RS.
How do u do 5k elites? D imps?
They? You mean he? Are you implying multiple people are playing on the account?
Hey jase also has gotten 200m all as second player ever
osrs has updates it will never get done?
How you pronounced torttunaama was hilarious to me as a Finn since it's a Finnish name meaning tart face 😄
How's it supposed to be properly pronounced?
I now just assume Americans will butcher any pronunciation that isn't American English. 😆😆
Imagine going x2 dry on that 65k hours.
so almost all clue scrolls rewards are junk items now?
You really sound like the COD youtuber Handler like seriously
Imagine spending all those hrs
On a real-life skill 👌

The drop rate that Jagex randomly set years ago, so people won't be able to "finish" the game.

These players successfully protected their virginity
Aha, 5th, HUZZAH!
... back to grinding
Ironman would have an even longer clue timer, cause they can't just buy clue scrolls.. have to drop every single one
None of those numbers in the final clip looks right. I mean, 2000 hours to complete the raids log? You gotta do 2k CM COX, TOB AND TOA.
6K raids, no one is pulling 20min raids like that lol

hey jase has the greatest rs account, can't convince me otherwise, but it's not a competition
To all the wizards in the chat

Crazy how iron men are competing with normals accounts, ironman is 100x more impressive and tbh normals accounts shouldn't even be on the same highscores considering they just open implings they either get donated or buy from ge.
I'd like to know what these people do outside of runescape..
Cool video
how is it only 700h for all pets? Isnt all pets alone like 5k+ hours if on rate
