I thought as much originally.
This has a huge vulnerability especially the Kwikset locks, they are probably the worst version. You can bypass the lock entirely with a $3.00 tool or a coat-hanger bent like one and a screwdriver or wedge.
Dragging the bypass across the locking paw and turning the handle to wedge the tool in-between once it seats. You can then disengage the paw.
15-20 second bypass tops.
For the increased security they accidentally introduced 2 huge vulnerabilities.
This is a gimmick lock for old people buying peace of mind not security.

@@jweebo1463 Picking wise, they're secure. All bets are off when attacking the hardware that surrounds it. They're still pickable, but only barely and someone told me but can't confirm that the gen 4 or 5 that they're on is truly unpickable so far.

That red key was an existing key we already had that worked with other doors in the house.
Yes - the second key can be any other house key you want to use for that lock.
